Just wow. The breakfast was fantatsic,. The dinner was AMAZING,and so tasty. Pro tip: make sure to mention if you're allergic to something before you arrive, we forgot to mention that one of us was lactose intolerant and the desert had dairy in it, so the kitchen made my husband something different for desert, which was very nice of them, especially since that meant I had two deserts. It was also our honeymoon so we were gifted some champagne by the hotel staff. The room is fantastic, and ours had a private onsen. The bed and the bathroom were lovely, and the hotel was too. We wandered around at night, and discovered a table tennis table where you play with flipflops instead of bats, as per local custom. The bar was nice too, and the bartender let me choose the music to play. This ryokan's theme is music, and you can see how much the owners love music as it is literally everywhere.
We arrived at 6pm and so didn't get any welcome green tea and treats, as our dinner reservation was at 6.30pm. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and I only regret not staying another night.

The owner has a passion for music, and it trickles throughout the property, giving it a truly unique atmosphere, without sacrificing the traditional Ryokan Japanese feel. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. The service is absolutely impeccable and the staff will go out of their way,
The public bath was a bit disappointing, and the one in the room a bit small.

Interior design is authentic Japanese style. It's creating great atmosphere like old Japanese era. The room has a private onsen bathroom which has a good creek view. Dinner was kaiseki course menu. Each course was beautifully presented and delicious. Every stuff was so nice and polite. Absolutely spotless !! Very happy stay.
