The staff at the front desk and parking were exceptional. Ms. Hatsumonji at the front desk was pleasant, welcoming and professional. Her english was also very good. I rented a car during this stay and had the opportunity to be met by Mr. Kato at parking for a majority of our 6 day stay. Mr. Kato is a consummate professional demonstrating a generosity of spirit. Housekeeping also did an excellent job keeping our room clean and tidy.

Great location near shopping center, JR Sapporo Staffs are great Nice breakfast & delicious with various foods

Air condition not too comfortable at night…

Convenient location close to Daimaru and other big department stores. Also somewhat walkable distance to the nightlife area. The baths were nice and the place was cleaned well. I appreciated the free waters that they gave.

The sink was weirdly next to the sofa bed, so it was kind of awkward when people were brushing their teeth and someone was just lying on the bed. The room didn’t really have much walking space but it was enough. The drying function for the washing machine isn’t good, and caused some arguments for two households because plans had to be delayed whilst waiting for the laundry to dry. If you rent a taller car be prepared for there to be no parking at the hotel itself. Alternative parking spaces are available but being able to park at the hotel would’ve been more convenient.

mitsui garden hotel sapporo west - convenient, quite centrally located - 2 blocks if get up from the underground walkway of Sapporo train station (west side) which is quite convenient (the original mitsui garden hotel sapporo is next to it) - the size of room is larger than the usual japan standard - shower is seperated from the lavatory, washing basin outside the shower/lavatory - i personally like the colour tone of the room (light decent blue) - public bath/onsen is indoor, size around 5m x 2m, modern design, quite decent

the lighting of the advertisement board opposite the room is too bright at night, and the curtain cannot block the bright light

Big rooms for Japan, lots of options at breakfast (western and Japanese), fridge in room. Could cast to TV from computer. Snack time from 3-7 with Japanese candies and chips and access to coffee machines/soda machines. Public bath was simple but nice, often crowded. Overall safe and clean, quiet, and comfortable.

The crowded indicator for the women's onsen didn't seem to be working--the TV would say not crowded, but all shower stalls would be completely full with people waiting. Somewhat expensive compared to other hotels that have similar amenities

Location is very near Daimaru Sapporo and the train station. The room was clean and the hotel convert sofa into the bed for one of the room we booked. Toilet is quite large with a bathtub.

We found that the table in the room is a bit small. It could fit only one person. And when sofa had been converted to bed, there is no place to sit, so we have to sit on the bed instead. There are hangers on the wall in the room, it helps us manage the space a bit better. We rent Toyota Noah and expected that we could have the parking lot at the hotel, but it always fully occupied during our stay, so we have to park at Big 88 building that cost ¥1,500 per day. Breakfast during our stay is buffet style, but the choices may be a bit limited. They served crape dishes instead of omelette. And we got fried fishes everyday.

Breakfast quite good, very Japanese, Onsen great. Good location near main railway station with link to airport and near ice sculpture park. Also just a few metres from access to the underground shopping and dining areas around the subway intersections and the main railway station.

Rooms a bit small, but this is Japan.

Excellent location, easily walkable from Sapporo station, most of the journey underground. New facilities meant the room was fairly new, clean and tidy. Typical business hotel amenities - toiletries are available in the lobby. Decent sized bathroom, and electronics in the room were modern. Will definitely stay here again.

Wished the receptionist is equipped with some restaurant recommendations around the hotel? We arrived quite late, close to 10pm, so would be be great if there were some late night food recommendation's, since we were with a kid. The reception gave us recommendation, but it’s all closed.

The design was very updated and the colors were nice. It was quiet and comfortable.

A bit sad that tattoos are still forbidden in the public bath. Although understandable that it is a culture thing, it is unfortunate that only the japanese new culture is accepted especially since the Ainu and Jomon Tribes which are indigenous to Hokkaido have their own tattoo culture as well.
