My wife was experiencing serious diarrhea after having raw sushi, so the hotel staff was really helpful in getting us to the hospital. There are lots of options in the buffet. I love their desert the most. Juices are provided in various auctions. Croissant waffles can be made by ourselves. Breakfast is served in the temporary area. The older one with the windows and glasses is my favorite. I was there during the early of January in the winter. I feel comfortable using the restroom because it is always warmed up..The hotel is located two blocks away from Nishi-11 Chrome On the Tozai Line. That room is bigger than average. You can see that mountain view from the room.

There will be noises from room maintenance during the day.

Classy business hotel. Very helpful and accomodating staff. Spacious and luxurious common areas. Large elevators, wide hallways. Delicious high quality buffet breakfast in a beautiful and peaceful setting with natural lighting and relaxing decor. Rooms very clean. Location is at the quieter end of Odori Park, only a block or two away, which makes it ideal for Sapporo Autumn Fest, a major food festival. Airport bus stop conveniently located right outside the hotel. Hotel is easy walking distance from Hokkaido University Botanical Garden and other interesting landmarks.

Bathrooms a bit on the small side and require a step up of about 6 inches, and the ceiling is not very high. Also, if you're traveling with elderly people or anyone who is mobility-challenged, then it may not be feasible to walk 10 minutes to find a variety of food. Although there are restaurants a block or two away, many of them close by 5:00 pm and may be closed on weekends. Unlike staying in the middle of Susukino or near Sapporo JR Station -- very busy areas with lots of shops and restaurants -- the Royton is in a quieter area. It seems the hotel's onsite restaurants and fitness club have closed down, and the hotel's only remaining restaurant, Cafe Trianon, serves breakfast only. Despite these drawbacks, for the right kind of traveler, this hotel could be ideal.

The staff can converse well in English and is helpful. Toiletries like shower gel and shampoo are available at our own convenience at the lobby. This will prevent wastage at the same time allow those who need more to retrieve them easily. It is a convenient location for driving with paid parking. The room is also spacious for us to open our luggages to pack.

The aircon did not work well. The place is a little stuffy but their staff prepared electric fans for us. We even saw a hanger hanging at the ventilation outlet above the walkway between toilet and cupboard. The toilet at the hotel lobby is a little far away.

rooms were clean and amenities were plentiful basically take what you need from the reception. Location was central and we could walk in the park prior to meeting our travel companions for breakfast. Also very easy to get to the subway. The airport shuttle at the backdoor helps also. Front desk were really helpful and told us how to get to locations within the city pretty accurately.

we asked to try get rooms close together but we got rooms 2 floors apart. Maybe have the breakfast included in room price.

It was rather good for value at the time we went (starting there for the snow festival). Just about anything that you can expect from a good hotel, they provided. The bed were rather nice and comfy. I would say the view was good too, but there weren't really that many things to see :) They do provide complimentary bottles of water IF you ask for it too! Staff speaks English (if you need it!). Close walk to the snow festival event space, and is also rather quiet at night. I was very surprised at the quality of the breakfast provided. The fresh smoothies were an excellent addition to the buffet and very tasty. The omelet also was very good. The range of fruit and vegetables also good. I was very happy with the coffee served. Overall the buffet was excellent value and exceeded my expectation.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and always went above and beyond to accommodate my family, especially my young children. The reception team gave my kids a small bag of treats (slippers and toothbrushes) as soon as we arrived. Great location - only a short walk from Sendai Station and right next to the Morning Markets. Breakfast was ok but there are better options close by. Beds and rooms were super comfortable! Loved being able to put on Netflix for the kids when they needed a rest.

The staff was helpful and professional. Room is pleasant. I liked that the amenities were also targeted at women eg the DHC toiletries. Hotel is large and the airport coach service stop there.

The main challenge is that it's a long walk to Sussukino and those restaurants and shopping, but nothing you can change about that. Another is that towels are inconsistent. One night one of the towels was old fairly threadbare, unpleasant to use. The next night, one of the towels smelt bad, like vomit.

We only stayed one night without breakfast. The staff were helpful when I wanted to use the currency exchange machine, store our luggage for a few hours and order a taxi. Two adjoining rooms on the 7th floor were suitable for a family of six. The main reason for staying here was that it was the only hotel on the airport bus route that could accommodate six people together.

I enjoyed the extra toiletries given to customers. Face wash and face oils. Others have complained about the building being old but it's still a comfortable stay.

While others offer free onsen, royton asks you to pay for a gym or steam/sauna package. The building is quite old and there is a lot of walking from carpark elevator to room elevator. The food is offensively expensive. The walk to Sapporo's clock tower is 20 mins. Was the room worth the price? No.

Overall, Staff had Great Customer Service, Room was clean and spacious for the long stay. The room that was given had a great view of the city and Royton Hotel location made it very accessible for public transportation, as well as the famous Odori Park. Convenient stores and restaurant are also nearby.

I wished they had an onsite laundromat. Other than that it was a great place to stay.
