We loved the slightly quieter location of the hotel. While not in one of the more busy areas like Shinjuku or Shibuya, it was a short walk to the train and super easy to get to those areas. We could enjoy their energy and then head back to our little oasis. The apartment was spacious by Tokyo standards, very modern and very well equipped. We loved the clever use of what, as westerners, we consider compact spaces. Staff were wonderful and went above and beyond to help us. Please note no luggage storage available at this hotel. Not an issue for us, but may be for others.

We didn't have a lot of luggage, but if you did and were using all beds, it might be difficult to store.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely wonderful to deal with for every interaction. We also really enjoyed the breakfast option. As this is a smaller hotel, there isn't a ton of options, but they make it work out nicely and feels sufficient to start your day. It's not a breakfast buffet :D As of July 2024, the two breakfast options were either a nicely prepared sandwich (meat, cheese, lettuce, etc.) on a French roll of sorts accompanied by grapes and a drink (either juice or coffee (an Americano) or a yogurt/granola bowl with fruit/nuts, etc. also with the drink option. You have to let them know the day before what breakfast option you would like for them to prepare for you so that it is ready the next morning. In addition, we really liked the view from our room (river view) which was scenic to come home to after a long day out exploring Tokyo. I'll also note that the general location of the hotel is super convenient to the nearby train station which also worked out well for our family. We would definitely choose to stay here again. Thank you so much for making our first time in Japan a pleasant one!

We booked a "triple" room (the one with the bunk bed and two beds below it) and it worked out decently for our family of 4. The ONLY draw back is the overall size of the room. We understood that this was the likely case for many hotels throughout Tokyo, and more broadly, Japan. So, FYI, it feels cramped quickly once you bring your luggage in. Not a whole lot you can do about it and we are not "complainers" so we dealt with it and that was that. But do know that we had two carry-ons, one checked-in size luggage, and a handful of our backpacks and it was TIGHT. Additionally, I thought it was odd that they did not provide any bedding/blankets for the 'day bed' that is in the room and faces the window.

We stayed here twice over a 3 week visit to Japan. First for a week over Christmas and then at the end of the trip for 2 nights. Both times we had the suite rooms as there were 3 of us. It was spacious and comfortable with a gorgeous view of the river and city. In fact, we had booked another hotel for the second stay but after staying the first time I cancelled the other hotel and rebooked at FAV - we loved it so much. The staff and very kind and friendly, the rooms are clean and new. We made frequent use of the free laundry facilities and the cafe downstairs had good coffee and tasty breakfast rolls (the donuts were good too!) The location is great, quieter than near Tokyo station but an easy train ride to get there. This neighbourhood allowed us to feel more of a local vibe than an tourist vibe so whilst that is not for everyone, it suited us perfectly and we will definitely stay here again.

There wasnt anything we didnt like. However if you are in a group of 3 or more I would recommend getting one of the larger rooms as I saw the smaller rooms and they would challenging for more than 2 people for an extended stay. It is a bit expensive but if you can get a discounted rate, it's definitely worth it.

Lovely compact place to stay in a more quiet area of Tokyo but still close to the action. Easy access to transportation and restaurants, and a relaxing walk along the river and to beautiful Japanese gardens. Excellent views from the room, and a fantastic little place down stairs that also does muesli and sandwiches for breakfast as well as great coffee. Very kind, helpful and enthusiastic staff.

It was just was we needed. The hotel is part of a chain, and we had stayed in a FAV hotel in Kagoshima on Kyushu island, so we knew what it would be like. There was nothing not to like.

The hotel is located in an area that is relatively quiet for Tokyo but still close to the Ryogoku station, which is served by the JR Chuo Sobu line. That means you can get to it by only using the JR pass and you can explore a bunch of Tokyo without even buying a subway ticket. There is only 2 rooms per floor, I believe, so almost no chance of noise from the neighbours. The room may be hot when you arrive but the airconditioning works very fast once turned on. When you walk to the hotel you will probably see real life sumo wrestlers in traditional yukata, as they all live in this area. Some might even come to the hotel for a coffee.

I travel a lot, so an iron and ironing board for guest use would have been nice. But this is a minor detail.

Breakfast was yummy and convenient, and the staff were very friendly. The location was nice -- outside the busiest part of the city but conveniently located near a major train route. The room was small, which we expected, but used the space efficiently and was comfortable.

Luckily we only had carry-on luggage, but it would have been nice to have a bit more dedicated storage space for our clothes. The room would not be big enough for anyone traveling with full-size luggage.

A very modern trendy hotel above an already trendy coffee shop. The location is in a more calm side of the city but everything is walkable. The facility is very modern and space efficient. The cafe and staff were great - lemon sours were super affordable!

The place was a tad on the small side but for those traveling light it shouldn’t be an issue but this is more of single night or two night stay just because the rooms don’t have a lot of space.

The location of this place is closed to main lines. Also, you can directly travel from Narita airport without transferring the train using the Keisei sky access express.

The problem we got during our stay was the door lock. We woke up and somehow could not unlock the door (the door lock is digital). We had to force many time to unlock it and we were panicked for help. It might be better to have an emergency button to directly call the hotel desk for emergency case like this.

Great sized room for a family of four. The kids loved the bunk beds. Love the seperate bathroom, shower room and toilet. Super practical for a family. Amazing floor to ceiling window with a great view of the sunset and river.

If I had to fault anything, it would just be access to immediate conveniences, that said it’s a short walk (10min) to several train stations and dining precincts.

Great location; sumo central and 30 minute walk to Asakusa. Modern and very comfortable beds. Fridge and TV within rooms, with good views for hotel standards. Friendly staff and very easy to use entry facilities. Stayed in a 3 bed room, on the smaller side but manageable.

The storage situation for the 3 bed room is a little more to be desired, can feel cramped with 3 people. A curtain between the shower door and main room feels a little cheap, a sliding door would have been better.
