Hotel Mystays Kameido

The hotel was about a ten minute walk from the local subway station and the walk was very nice. There are two 24 hour convinence stores within a five minute walk. Endless vending machines nearby. Staff were welcoming and went above and beyond to help! I had an incident where I left my things in a coin locker and couldnt communicate efficiently with the company to get them back and reception helped me. Honestly, I can not fault this place at all. Great size room, comfortable and quiet and all around a great choice.

The bathroom was a little small but it wasn't a deal breaker!

This is our 2nd time to stay here and as usual, our experience is pleasant. The location is a quiet neighborhood, 5-minute walk to the JR Station and roughly 10-minute walk to the subway. There is also a mall near the hotel where you can buy groceries, souvenirs and good coffee. Take note though that it will take around 45 minutes to go to Shibuya. The room size is perfect for our preference. The room is well kept and clean upon arrival. Although there is an option to have your room cleaned everyday, there is an extra pay for that. So maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the room is completely up to you. I also don't mind throwing our own rubbish since the bins are also clean. The price is budget friendly and cheaper than other hotels within the area. Overall, personally, the hotel is definitely a thumbs up.

The hotel is located in Kameido, which is a lovely neighborhood, near all the central areas but away from the hustle of Tokyo city center. The nearest train station is about 5 minutes away by walking and getting around Tokyo was seamless. There is a 24-hour convenience store right across the street and lots of small food places nearby. The room itself was a little small, and so was the bed, but that is something common in Tokyo so it was not a big deal. Like all Japanese hotels, the room offers all sorts of amenities one needs for their stay such as bath products, slippers, toothbrush & toothpaste, etc. Although we knew about the lack of free cleaning service from the start, an occasional complimentary change of fresh towels for long stays (more than 7 days) would have been appreciated. However it didn't affect our overall experience. The staff were very helpful and they even stored our luggage for free on our check-out day so we could take a last walk in Tokyo. All in all, our stay was very pleasant and I would definitely recommend this hotel as a budget-friendly option.

Great location! 5-10 minute walk to Kameido station which gets you to Akihabara and beyond easily. Restaurant and vending machines on site and a 24/7 open Lawson a minutes walk away. Great bathroom but a little small. Has a sitting bath and bidet! 24 hour staff and assistance and laundry. They also have items for you to borrow such as vacuums. Staff go out of their way to help you and are SO friendly and nice. I will definitely be staying here again - I loved it! Really made my time in Tokyo stress free.

There was a little bit of dust in the room and cleaning isn't included, but that wasn't a big deal for me.

The location was perfect. 5 minutes walk from JR Kameido Station. 3 minutes walk from Kameido Clock shopping mall. Convenience stores and grocery shops also within a few minutes walk. The hotel seems to be in the middle of a quiet residential area. No boisterous tourists around. The hotel itself is perfect for solo travelers who like privacy. The hotel does not service the rooms regularly so you can stay in all day in your room if you like. Trash disposal is no hassle because the dumpsters are right around the corner. I really loved my stay in this hotel.

There's not really much not to like. Maybe I could say that the carpets and wallpaper are a little worn. But that's not a big deal.

The hotel is close to the beautiful Kameido clock mall which hs absolutely everything. There is also a Lawson near the entrance of the hotel. We got the cheapest room and it had a microwave, ref, hairdryer, and other items for rent. Our friend got the corner room on the top most floor which had a beautiful view of Tokyo Sky Tree. It was so spacious compared to ours. The hote was also near a small park and beautiful walkways. Hotel is near a JR line.

No free room cleaning and refills even if we stayed for quite some time. So we hd to pay 2k plus Yen for something that should be free for certain amt of days of stay. The laundry room had mouldy smells. The hotel is far from subway lines.

I love everything about this Hotel 1. Hotel Mystays Staff are very polite, kind and very helpful people who will understand your problem and try their best to solve those issues. 2. Amazing Location from where on 5 min walking distance you can access "Kameido Station" and on another side 5-10 min walking distance you can access "Nishi Ojima station" and front of Mystays hotel there is Huge Mall "Kameido Clock" where you will get everything. 3. Room are clean and very well facilitated... 4. High Speed WiFi

I had a pleasant stay overall, the position is good with JR station, shopping mall and Lawson nearby and the room has almost anything you could need during a week stay. The staff is very kind and the check-in procedure is smooth. The room was a bit old (especially the bathroom) but comfortable for a solo traveller.

Since guests have to take care of their rubbish, I would have appreciated some extra bags inside the room. The air exchanger was noisy, so I had to switch it off while I was in the room. The microwave position is not very comfortable, it would be better to have it hanged over the sink, switching its position with the cupboard one.

Great location, there’re many shops and cafes around and also a shopping mall. Streets around the hotel are really quiet. Metro station is five-minutes away and the yellow line is really easy to get to the main tourist attractions. Stuff is really friendly and helpful

Not perfectly clean, a bit dusty and there were some dirty spots on the walls, but bed sheets and towels are clean and seemed to be pretty new. The room is quite small and bathroom can be uncomfortable for tall people, but it’s usual for Tokyo.

The price is fair that a long stay in Tokyo is doable. The free cooking-utensil rental is fantastic too. I want to say special thanks to the staff. The hotel offers many amenities but the staff are responsible for managing a large portion of the tasks. They are always willing to help. Once I asked two front desk persons to help me make a special copy, and they came up with a way for me to get it done. Among the staff members, I in particular want to thank Miss Miyamoto. She was very helpful and dealt with my requests with perfect communication in English.

The hotel can place a comfortable chair instead. The room is very small and the only way to stay in, if not asleep, is to sit on the hard chair. The hotel may improve guests' impression a lot just by changing a chair, I suggest.
