The whole house and quite location in the middle of the busy Bangkok center. The stuff was great when we met in person. Map and detailed info about area were provided on arrival. Electric cattle and water provided. Nice garden and seating area. Many food oprions nearby.

No possibility of the airport pickup. No breakfast in house. Difficult communication before arrival, no replies on booking.com chat.

The accommodation experience exceeded expectations. The location of the accommodation is very good, located in the city center, very close to the National Museum and the market, within walking distance. The safety of the accommodation is sufficiently guaranteed. There are security guards guarding the door 24 hours a day, and there is a second layer of security at the door. The sanitary conditions of the room are very good, the room is very clean, the bedding is also very clean, and towels are provided. The reception is also very friendly, providing luggage storage and tour booking services at reasonable prices.

As soon as I arrived, staff were friendly, welcoming and happy to help, so check in was a breeze. Decoration inside the hotel was themed and cultured, with a variety of Kenyan art, sculptures and ornaments. The room was clean and comfortable, with modern facilities such as a keycard locking door, a double bed with mosquito net, and a little ensuite with shower and toilet. I couldn't believe it for the super low price! Plus, there was room service available at no extra cost, with a selection of food and drinks on the menu and room cleaning during the day available upon request. Despite the close proximity to the main roundabout, there was hardly any road noise and it was a convenient place to get a lift from to anywhere in the city. For a first time in Nairobi, Kahama Hotel made my stay enjoyable and I would recommend to anyone visiting the city.

My only issues were that the shower was a bit temperamental and the sink drained very slowly, but this really wasn't a huge problem.

I stayed here on and off (as was using Nairobi as a base in Kenya) over a couple of weeks. The hotel is amazing value and has a good and cheap restaurant / bar meaning you don’t have to walk outside at night. It is gated and has a security guard all the time so is very safe. Staff and check in was functional and nice people working in the restaurant too. Location is good and whilst you can walk to the CBD, I just took Uber’s to ensure safety and they are very cheap. Wi-Fi was good as well. All beds had mosquito nets

Nothing really - some of the bathrooms didn’t have curtains over the windows but the road outside is so busy that no one would have a chance to see you. The road is busy but it never bothered me in the rooms I had.

Huge comfortable bed, very clean, big room. Friendly staff.

Check out time is 10:00 instead of the more usual 12:00. I requested late check out as my train was at 15:00 but I was only allowed 10:30. The hotel was clearly not full and I would have appreciated a longer extension so that i could be in the room instead of waiting for hours in the common areas . I think it would be nice some music during breakfast time. There was complete silence that felt a bit uncomfortable at times. Some water leaking under sink in bathroom.

It is a great value to stay for 1 night if you arrive late in Nairobi or you need to leave early the next day. Basic but clean with hot water. We stayed 2 times, and it was very good.

The restaurant. It could be just one off, but it took them 2 hours to prepare food. For all guests. The waiter instead of communicating with guests to calm them down, pretended he didn't see anyone and got frustrated and sharp with his answers when guests questioned the time of preparation of food. But it was one person only from the otherwise very nice staff and could be one of those days :-)

Staff was amazing. We had a great check in experience, and Jane was so helpful to help us recover an item that we had forgotten in the room upon checking out. she was definitely the highlight of our trip. Great breakfast, great location. Amazing value overall

Beds were a little too stiff for us. Not the best comfort! Charged us 8 usd for breakfast. Normal price was 800 shillings, which equaled to 5 usd at the time (August 2023) Overpriced airport pickup ! Uber and bolt work very well in Nairobi, you'll save about 50% if you order through the apps :)

The kindness of the staff, who despite a busy restaurant one evening and a reduced kitchen team tried its best to inform the clients. The receptionist came helping. The whole team is very polite really. Jane at the reception helped me charging my local sim card, I had no idea how to do it and really needed urgently to use my phone. I would compliment every member of the staff from security guards to the cleaning ladies, reception Etc The decoration is nice and the bed is really comfortable

The location is very close to the center but to walk to it, it's not welcoming

From the moment of our arrival, the staff made us feel like we were family. We had the room ready and available before checkin time and was given to us no problem. Everything we asked for, everything needed fixing, the staff were trying to help and provide for and made our stay an unforgettable experience. Thank you Jayne, Michael, Gabriel, Lillian, Lawrence, Angela,.. for being so great all the time. We are now keeping in touch and certainly be staying with you at Kahama Hotel soon. David
