location in relation to Nairobi and Crescent Island love the animals roaming in the grounds and background of the lake The waiting staff in the restaurant are excellent

The bar staff don’t have a clue about the drinks they are serving. I have been twice this year and both times got the wrong tonic or type of drinks, especially from the gin menu, and they don’t seem to think it’s important to tell you they don’t have all the right ingredients. The fitted carpets in the dining room and bedrooms definitely need a refresh or removal. They look grubby round the edges and give a jaded image.

This is a luxury hotel on the lake Naivasha. All houses and common territories are finely designed. It has plenty of beautiful grass territory, on which zebras, giraffes, and some others live. In the dark, hyppos are coming out from the lake to feed on the grass. The common grass area around the houses is protected from the main territory via a small wooden fence, including electric fence. So it is possible to watch the whild life directly from the room, a balcony, of safely from outside, like in a big theater. During the day, the gates to the main grass therritory are open and it is very nice to walk together with zebras and giraffes (hyppos spend the day in the water and do not come on grass). There are plenty of monkeys and birds on site. The food is good. And there is extended selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Nice wooden bar in the lobby. Live piano music at dinner.

The pool and the small area around it did not seem much attractive. The drink at the pool could be better for this luxury hotel. We do realize however that the main value of the hotel is site seeing or aminal seeing in quite a luxury setting. And the climate here is less suitable for swimming. Warm in the day, but fairly cold in the morning and evening.

The location ensures that we always come back here.... even if it is to see the ever changing landscape that seems to be the case. The view from our balconies was absolutely brilliant. The animals came to visit ....

Arrived when a wedding was going on ...so noisy. We had young family members .....children under 4 years old.... we had the last room on the complex.... aan exceedingly very long (romantic) walk for small legs. We had two nights and quickly realised that it didn't do to "forget" things in the room. Being singled out by swimming pool attendant to be "told off" for using more than one towel ( there was six of us.... we had seven towels.... we promptly put one back) ....when other (white) clientele were clearly doing the same, and not a word was said to them..... soured what should have been a good memory of the place!

- beautiful hotel consists of main building nicely decorated and small huts placed in the large garden by Navaisha lake with hippos - Each hut has only 4 rooms - 2 downstairs and 2 upstairs - Giraffe, zebras and other animals strolled in the garden and you could observe them from a balkony or from a window of your room - very friendly staff - one evening somebody was playing the piano in the main building and I really enjoyed it - tasty food with large variety - nice pool area - quiet area - very good internet connection - a lot of things to do around

I was fully satisfied with my stay... the only thing is the hotel offered only full board. I would prefer to have option to select full or half board.

Beautiful place. Value for money. Quiet area, strong internet.

The staff at the reception area needs to be more welcoming. She hounded us for payment before even welcoming us to the property (and double-charged us even when we had already pre-paid). The restaurant lacked some basic items. The same people at the reception called us at 10.02 asking us to check out (even when check out is 10 am and the walk to the reception is about 15 mins). Felt very unwelcome.

The Park at the Resort is amazing. You see Zebras, Giraffes, Waterbucks and other animals in that park very close. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The houses are nice.

As the temperature in Naivasha is dropping in the evening, the pool temperature is really cold. A heated pool would be a good improvement to enjoy the swimming. It could be done with solar panels without additional cost for electricity.

Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge, truly has a special place in our heart! We stayed for our honeymoon trip and the whole staff exactly met our full expectations The heart warming welcome bed deco, the wild zebras, water bucks and giraffes just walking beside makes it feel like your in a fairy tale! I highly recommend this wonderland to any one who is looking for a special experience and did I mention the Staff are so heart warming and polite! A true hospitality standard! Thank you so much Naivasha Sopa Lodge Team! You made our honeymoon more magical!

One thing wasn't that big of an issue but I hope they have a "ice" coffee menu. Yes majority people love to drink some liquor but I'm more of a coffee person. It was a bummer that they couldn't provide iced coffee.

The hotel has a private park with zebras, jiraffes and anthilopes. This is really fantastic, you can approach them very closely! It's also possible to go on a boat trip to check hippos.

The food could have been better. There's a limited variety of options to choose for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There's no air conditioning in the rooms and you cannot leave the windows open because of mosquitos. Only two small windows have mosquito nets, that's not enough.

The place exceeded our expectations as there were wild hippos, zebras and giraffes that freely roamed around the property. The rooms were beautifully designed overlooking the grounds and the naivasha Lake and you could view these animals at close quarters. Good food and a comfortable stay

If you are looking for a comfortable get-away in natural surroundings, this is a good bet. Lovely setting by the lake, nice rooms and a treat to watch the zebras and waterbuck grazing in the grounds. The hotel is very efficiently run and the staff are very accommodating and professional. It is a large hotel with many visitors, so don't expect a wilderness experience - but for everything else it is excellent.
