My husband and I stayed at the Sonder Beverly Terrace. We were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of the staff. The hotel overall is clean with nice patio and rooftop areas and the room we stayed in is a decent size contrary to what I read in the reviews. We were very satisfied. One of the major advantages is the location; this hotel is in Beverly Hills and it is close to the trendy shops and restaurants of the city. The hotel no longer offers breakfast included but has a nice partner restaurant.

Breakfast would have been a great bonus.

Check-in took more than 30mins - hotel staff wasn't able to figure out that you can book hotel for other person and it's absolutely normal thing to do so. Whenever I mentioned guest name ( it was my wife) in booking details and she filled out all needed docs for checkin in advance, they keep asking to see person who mentioned on payment to be in person presented during check-in whenever all charges are already made online and she travels alone and I was in 600 miles from LA at that point of time. Stupidly lost 40 mins for awful discussion, besides of that good place to stay.

Amazing location and he price is fair if you consider that you are in Beverly Hills. Very clean and the staff is helpful.

It can get noisy, the walls are very thin and sometimes you won’t get the best sleep, especially if you are on the ground floor and the entrance to your room is in the middle of the outdoor seating are of the restaurant. Parking is extra so make sure you budget for an extra $30 a day if you have a car. Cleaning is also extra so unless you are paying an extra fee, your room won’t be cleaned ( but you can help yourself with clean towels, toilet paper etc )

nice decorations, large comfy bed, felt pretty modern and nice. good location within walking distance of some cafes, restaurants and strip of bars/clubs. a good location if you have a car as it’s easy to drive to most areas

the room was very dark, especially as we had to keep the blinds closed as we were next to a main doorway. we were also under the staircase so we heard loud steps occasionally. expensive parking - we didn’t like the compulsory valet service, it was more of a hassle. most of the front desk staff were friendly but a few could be friendly/more helpful

The staff was really friendly! There were common areas such as the garden and the terrace where we could relax or take a meal. Due to a misunderstanding, we had to change room and the first room was more comfortable comparing to the second one. There were some broken things in the second one, such as a broken bed, but the staff came immediately, and they fixed it the same day, fewer hangers in the bath. There was also a common shelf where we could get coffee/ tea, toilet paper etc. Moreover, although the cleaning staff did not clean the room, they gave us clean towels when we asked them to. The location was also very good!

We did not like the fact that we had to pay for the parking, although we already knew it and also the parking staff was very polite and friendly!

The hotel was stylish and well-located with bars and restaurants within walking distance. The room was clean and modern. Staff was friendly and professional. Also, the roof-top common area was a great space at sunset and the app-enabled key access was a nice touch.

There are some aspects of the room that could use an update, especially in the restroom. The mini fridge would hum loudly at night. Lastly, we found the lack of outlets near the bed (ideally above the side tables) surprising, given their tech forward check-in process.

The hotel is in a great location, it has a super terrace in which you can hangout and take a quick lunch. The room is tiny but there is everything you need. Great value for money in LA

The great position have the drawback of where you can park the car, So you must pay 30$ for night for the parking. The price after all is the better in the neighbourhood.

it was clean and tidy

the check in with the app was a nightmare especially when you are from overseas and don’t have internet connection . you really have to do all the doc uploads before you leave . it seemed overly complicated and I don’t want another app, however the chat help was very good . the room was also affected by a flashing strobe light from a box under the desk every 5 minutes which added to a room already illuminated by a blue light from the wifi access point and a large gap under the door . this was disappointing

We booked a double room for our family of 4, which includes 3 adults and a 12 year old. The room size was fairly decent given the standards in the US we have been seeing. Although any more than 2 nights would have been hard for us all to stay in one room. Lovely place, excellent staff (big shout out to Cecelia) and fabulous location. Well worth it.

I have to say the decoration is good, the hotel is in perfect area and also the staffs are great but not available all the time(I mean hard to find them)

I heard a lot noise from the guests, the guests which come to this hotel they make a noise and they don't care you want to sleep and .... I'm French and in France after 12pm you can't do the noise, I wanted to call the police but finally I didn't do that! when I tell the noise It means the real loud noise!
