Oasis Hotel

Very safe and central location within walking distance from the Grand Mosque, Souk Al-Mubarakiya, coffee places, small restaurants and ATMs. Also only a few minutes by taxi to the Kuwait Towers and sea front. Tea, coffee and bottled water available in the bedroom. Spacious, quiet room with a great view of the city. Very friendly, professional staff who will do their utmost to cater for all your needs (wake-up calls, taxi bookings, late check-out, airport transfers). As a woman travelling to Kuwait for the first time, they made me feel very safe - a huge thank you to the the whole staff team at Oasis Hotel!

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location, close to city center, shops, public transport, cafes - all is around a corner. Room was clean, bright. Really delicious breakfast, it had not a huge amount of options, but everything we tried was very tasty, and, believe me, it's indeed happening not in all hotels from our experience! Comfortable bed.

With nice bed we had very soft and not very comfortable pillows. On check-in we had 1 towel per person, we asked at reception and got additional, but after cleaning room next day during change of towel, we received 1 instead of two, again. Probably, maid thinking that it should be enough... There was some mold in shower cabin.

This place was a real find, in my opinion. It is located right in downtown, a block away from the big street market, and within a five minute walk of many restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores. It is difficult to find cheap-ish rooms in Kuwait City, and I had been expecting less from the hotel because of the price. But it is well run, with super helpful staff and a dedicated taxi service that is well priced. We had a great view over the city from our room. Will definitely book here the next time we are in town.

The location of the hotel is perfect. So close to Al Mubarakiya which was an amazing experience for me since you can experience real Kuwaiti culture! It's like the grand bazaar in Turkey, with several types of spices, dates, fruits etc. I think you can find a cheaper option for breakfast. It was 4 KD per person. The room was spacious enough and the view was satisfying. I believe the bathroom could have been cleaner but it wasn't nasty at all. Also, the Ac was working properly and wasn't making any sound. We checked-in early and the staff was very helpful.

The staff are amazing. They do not mind being asked to do something. If something is the matter, they will try to rectify it immediately. Very helpful, very respectful and very kind. The breakfast was very good. A mixture of western and Eastern dishes. You can request eggs from the chef made fresh. They have takeaway chips as well (if like me you need extra coffee). The location is exceptional. Close to everything. Literally opposite Mubarakiyyah souk and a 5 min wall to the grand mosque. A short taxi ride to Kuwait Towers.

The AC was very loud and not working. (We needed some heat). The staff have us a radiator as soon as they find out. The sink was leaking.

Actually everything was so neat. The location of the hotel is very convenient, just 10min walk from the central bus station. You can catch taxi just a front of the hotel, too. It's a bit far to walk to the towers, but you can do it within 45 minutes which is fine. Wi-fi is strong, the room was great, AC working fine, the staff allowed me to store my luggage til night the morning I checked-out, also they printed a boarding pass for me for free.

The price is not cheap, however within Kuwait City is a cheap price...

Short walk from bus station and central location. Couple coffee shops nearby and staff very friendly and helpful. Room clean, beds comfortable and room felt light. If happy walking about then good for getting to main spots - Mosque very near as is the Corniche

Found it odd to have a bellboy accompany us to our room and into it to show us how it worked! Found it a bit uncomfortable as he assumed to switch aircon on, lights etc which weren't needed. Also insistence on giving extensive bottles of water rather than fill kettle from tap. (Which I still did and no issues)

The stay in the hotel was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a good size and very nice view. The bathroom is for sure not the biggest, but very clean. Staff is also really friendly and helpful. I would totally stay here again, when in Kuwait. I don't understand why this hotel is only rated 7/10. I guess some of the bad reviews here are coming from rather demanding middle-eastern business travellers, who should rather stay in a Marriott or Sheraton hotel (for a much higher price), if they need the luxury.

Everything was great.

The location is really good. You can walk to the sights in the city center and the souk is just around the corner. Wifi works. The breakfast is really good, there is a lot of variety and you can also have an omelette. The staff is really nice and helpful. You get a free water bottle every day. We got a new airport transfer quickly even though we had cancelled it before. At night it is quiet, even though the location is next to busy street.

The walls are thin, so you can hear some voices from the hallway.

Strategic location + sunlight is great from my room + furniture is clean + the staff were nice and polite

The bed wasn’t comfortable as the headboard is too short it kept slapping our heads + toilet was clean but needs improvement especially the floor and the door
