Good location, easy access to One Utama shopping centre for food and getting Grab car around. Lobby & housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.

Took a long time to check in, there's no enough seating for other family members to sit down and wait while I do the check in. Even after the front desk girl have managed to check in for me, I was told I'm too early for check in and room were not ready (it was around 2pm at that time). However, I have to re-queue again later at around 3.30-4pm in order to find out my room number and get the key card. They definitely need to improve their front desk check in services. I understand it's peak season but at least those standing beside staff can come forward to help and speed up the process, there's only 3 counter open to serve check in and check out.

One World Hotel is our go-to hotel each time we travel back to KL. You cannot beat it's location - connected to one of the largest and best shopping mall in Malaysia, One Utama and also the Bandar Utama MRT station so you could easily take a trip to the city center. Their breakfast is something I always look forward, they have a large variety of spread, ranging from local Malay, Chinese, Indian and even Japanese, to Western food. You need to have a stomache like a cow in order to enjoy every single dish there! Their staff are always friendly and helpful, we always feel welcomed.

I noticed the sound insulation quality has dropped over the years. I can hear the sound from the next door room (or maybe we just have very noisy neighbours), whenever people are walking outside of the room door, and also sounds of running water from other rooms.

- the buffet spread is good - we stayed on for hi tea buffet after our check out - connected to 1 Utama so can rest after a day of shopping and continue again 😅 - housekeeping staff was helpful

- they gave us a plate of cookies and unfortunately my 8 yr old daughter dropped the entire plate on the floor while opening it, she called reception to request for more and they outright rejected her and she got upset . Anyway , I called again and explained the situation and was told that it was one time only but they will check with mgt . They did send up another plate of cookies pretty quickly but I feel it could be better managed from the start. My daughter was deducted points for the hotel coz of this 😅 - cleanliness & maintenance of locks etc could be better

The room was nice. The bathroom was nice and spacious. The location was amazing as it was connected to One Utama mall and MRT station, and close to SEGi University Kota Damansara by MRT station. Many restaurants and shops near by.

The room service (food) took way too long, almost an hour for a pizza and a sandwich! The staff and security could have been nicer but because it was so crowded, they probably couldn't tell whether we were hotel guests or just people going to One Utama mall (even though we had luggage, the majority of the staffs didn't bother to come help only 1 who finally noticed us walking in did). The service wasn't impressive even the check-in counter.

This hotel exceeds my expectations. The last time I went here was probably more than 15 years ago and today, it seems that everything has improved tremendously. Our family is stunned by the choices of food during our breakfast there. The breakfast place is very spacious and you do not have to worry about bumping into another person. We arrived at 1 pm and by then, our 3 bedrooms were already ready for check-in. The location is very strategic as it is literally 10 steps away from 1 Utama Mall. As for the bedroom, everything is squeaky clean and the duvet is very comfortable.

A slight bummer that this hotel doesn't have a pool for small kids as their smallest pool is 0.9 meters deep.

We stayed at One World in 2014, and this is our third visit. The place was exceptional then and is still exceptional now. The building has been lovingly maintained and presents almost as a new building would. You can see that all staff have been trained to an exceptionally high level in customer service, right down to the housekeeping staff. The following were exceptional: 1. Buffet breakfast - top notch in every aspect. 2. Customer service was exceptional from every person I encountered. Even the housekeeping team. 3. Rooms were very spacious and thoughtfully laid out. 4. The whole hotel is very tastefully decorated. 5. The location right next to 1 Utama shopping centre is perfect.

Nothing at all - this is my favourite hotel at this price point

Extremely comfortable, especially rooms on the higher floors. Calling reception for anything was easy, they bring up anything you ask for quickly and politely. Luggage holding facility by the concierge is a huge bonus. Fantastic location and a really good experience.

The showers are strange. Given they have both the rainfall and handheld heads, they don't provide handles that work well for the handheld. The angle is just weird. They spray water at 90 degrees instead of being adjustable. Also the showers themselves do look a little old and mouldy around the sealants.

The location of this hotel is great as it is connected to the 1 Utama shopping mall. I drove to this hotel and having the room access card able to open the car park gantry is wonderful (easy accessibility). The room was spacious and clean. The furniture in the room was well kept and still looked new. The table in the room was good size for having meals as well as doing work with my laptop.

The card access for the car park could be better as the sensor take several attempts before it can detect properly and open the gantry. Also good labeling of the car park for hotel guests would be good so that we know where we can park as guests of the hotel.

All good. Our king bedroom suites is a connected room with 2 single beds for our kids. Free access to the Peridot Club lounge such a nice way for us to come back again to this hotel. ToysRus gift card for the kids also a great idea. Love the breakfast selections and variations.

This not happened to me but to the other customers who asking about to validate the parking ticket. The frontline at the reception was not so-friendly to entertain her. Maybe he in the middle of serving the other customer and focus to the task. But, I hope the staff can please be more polite and humble towards the customers. They supposed to be friendly with a smiling face.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, as it is linked directly to One Utama shopping mall from the lobby, with ample shopping and dining options. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are professional and efficient. The breakfast buffet is huge, but can get a little crowded. The overall feel is comfortable, but not very exclusive, as the hotel does get very crowded from the guests, shopping centre, and multiple events in the multiple ballrooms. Doesn't change the fact that we booked our next stay with them immediately after checking out!

Slightly crowded at breakfast/pool area during peak periods, and sometimes waiting for the lifts can take a while. However, a large part of the crowds are families, so it feels safe to stay here with young kids as the atmosphere is generally lively and noisy in a good way.
