Given 1 hr limit for breakfast buffet. There were signages in lifts to remind guests of this. Perhaps it was due to space constraint. But I saw there were spaces which were not utilised eg the big round tables at enterance, outside yard & higher deck at end of dining area. This happenend on a Sunday & Monday. We paid for rooms to come with breakfast as we knew that buffet spread and Melting Pot Teh Tarik is very good but to rush through a buffet breakfast while on a holiday is not a good experience. Otherwise all others during the stay at Concorde Shah Alam were good. Rooms were cleaned on time, request were fulfilled timely & very good services with smile given by staff.

From the time I checked in to the time I checked out, everything was well taken care of. The room was perfect, the food delicious, the service very good, the ambience and the surroundings of the hotel is very convenient for hotel guests. We can order room service or we could just walk a short distance to the Shah Alam Plaza located right next to the hotel. Getting to the hotel from Penang was also a breeze, parking facilities are also good. This time, I was also pleasantly surprised when all the kitchen staff actually spared some time from their busy schedules to walk to my table with a cake to wish my son on his birthday. All I asked was just a cake to be delivered to my breakfast table but the staff went out of the way to come together and sing my son the birthday song. He was so touched. This is my second time staying in Concorde Hotel after many years and I found it very pleasant on both occasions. The stay at Concorde Shah Alam is just as smooth as its namesake, the Concorde plane.

Perhaps more variety during the breakfast can be added and repeating certain types of food every day. For instance my son enjoyed the hash browns on the first day but they were not served on the second and third day. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The checkin and checkout was seamless and the staff handling it was very friendly. The room was pleasantly clean, spacious, WIFI and TV was great with Astro Ria and few other channels available. Food spots are only a few minutes away (across the street) and parking was also easy and foc. Had a great view facing the city, night lights and sunset/sunrise were awesome too.

Nothing, everything was great. It may be a bit old school type of hotel but overall the quality is maintained well so there isn't much to complaint.

room was comfortable , spacious and cozy, the bathroom was clean and all amenities and facilities was complete , would come again for a short stay to get away, and they validate parking, which is nice

the TV was really old, screen wasnt clear, and not a smart tv, for the year 2024 i think smart tv needs to be standard, coz most channels is boring and irrelevant. the price for bfast buffet seems too pricey, better to take with the combo under booking.com, so u can save big time

Staff really nice and friendly. The room was nice. The mini refrigerator was a nice addition coupled with the iron and ironing board made it easy whenever a cold drink was needed and ironing to be done. WiFi was also pretty fast. The complimentary coffee and tea making facility is a definite plus whenever a hot beverage was craved. The wife was indeed happy for the hair dryer after a hot shower. For me the location of the hotel was just perfect as finding food and to do some shopping was so easy. This was my 2nd or 3rd visit and will continue to make it the hotel to stay whenever I return.

Not much really but the drainage of the sink in the bathroom would need to be looked at as water was slow in flowing down the water outlet so much so that it was kind of annoying at times as we couldn't turn on the tap for a stronger flow until the stagnated water drained fully which took a couple of minutes. The light fixtures too needs to be looked at. Quite often the lights would flicker and then become dim.

The hotel had comfortable beds and the room was quiet. It is centrally located in the government district and has good food nearby. The room was very clean and well maintained.

I got a room for my driver, who is a Tamil Malaysian with very black skin. While the staff we kind to my (white) colleague and I, they were quite rude to our driver and acted as though he has no right to be a guest in the hotel. They made no eye contact with him and did not welcome him as a guest. I suggest the hotel undergoes training exercises to ensure that staff treats all guests equally and avoid this situation in the future.

Loved the room I was in. I have been a guest a couple of times and each time the room never disappointed me. Bed was big and the mattress was just right to have a comfortable and peaceful sleep. Staff were really nice and helpful. Had breakfast in house and the food was pretty good. Location is everything and I had easy access to food, shopping and malls that were around the immediate area. Parking was easy so no hassle to find one on site. I would not hesitate to recommend friends to book a stay there.

Nice view of the Majestic Mosque. Near to the mall. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good. Price is affordable.

The furniture looked old. Looks like it needs a revamp. Carpet floor can be abit damp and smelly esp near the toilet. Should remove carpet near the toilet entrance. Windows need to clean. Hotel corridor leading to rooms can be abit dark and creepy.

The view of the Mosque right in front of our room units. And the serenity of the surrounding is so comforting, compared to our usual stays within Kuala Lumpur. And breakfast spreads buffet is awesome with variety of food themes to choose.

The slow power shower. If it’s a shower power system, I will surely rate this property as a full stars stays.

It’s situated near a small mall and many eateries, making it easy to get food and other daily necessities. The staff are genuinely polite and helpful, and while the rooms may not be furnished with up-to-date furniture, they are kept very clean. The laundry and housekeeping services were prompt and efficient.

There was no USB ports available in the room to charge our smartphones. Guests need to bring our own 3-pin USB plugs and the hotel has none to lend one to guests who need one. Once, the room service tI ordered took more than an hour to arrive. I had to call again to enquire about my order before the food arrived.
