Absolutely amazing hotel, just beautiful inside and out. The room (std double) was perfect for us, and very tastefully decorated. The staff and owner were incredibly attentive - there's nothing that's too much trouble to them. The lady that does the laundry was just so lovely and sweet. Our flight was delayed 17hrs on the way, which meant we didn't arrive until 5am... Absolutely no issue for the hotel, who welcomed us at this time, offering any help and support they can. We stayed way out of season for 1 week, which meant for a couple of nights midweek we were the only ones in the hotel, however still absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We only dined for breakfast at the hotel, however the quality (and quantity) of food was amazing!

Beautiful spacious room Very clean Great indoor and outdoor pool Comfortable in all areas We really enjoyed lounging in both pools, but especially the indoor one, along with the steam room, when it rained a couple of mornings. It was very relaxing and calming.

Bar & restaurant ambience was lacking. Parking in street parking only, which we found, but is difficult and had to drag our cases around to the hotel. This may not be an issue if cars are allowed to park in front of the hotel, once the new paving work has been completed (see below). Unfortunately, there was building work in front of and to the side of the hotel. The new paving in front of the hotel did not bother us, but after the weekend, when building work re-started on the side - it was very off-putting to look out of our bedroom window and see builders, so had to close curtains. Hopefully this is only temporary, as otherwise the hotel is very nice and comfortable.

This was a truly exceptional boutique hotel in the centre of Mellieha, Malta, on the central square by the cathedral. The hotel is so luxurious and our room was just amazing. Our room had a balcony onto the square and great views. The roof infinity swimming pool was wonderful for relaxing in at the end of the day - and the staff would bring up nice drinks and snacks :) The hotel restaurant had amazing food, beautifully presented. The spa was gorgeous with another swimming pool. The staff really made our experience - they were all incredible, so friendly and professional, from the cleaners to the chefs to the waiters and waitresses and managers....we will definitely be back!

Our stay was perfect.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, Gareth made us feel so welcome and at ease straight away, nothing was too much for him and he spent the time getting to know us and had lots of knowledge about the island and places to go. From the reception to the cleaners (who were so lovely,) and the chefs who made us food that was out of this world, we had an amazing time and would definitely recommend.

No fault of the hotel but the area is undergoing serious building works which made the hotel difficult to find and the noise of the building works made the stay a little less comfortable.

Our sincere thanks to Garrett, Stephanie and their lovely team, who made our stay at the Lure so special. The hotel exceeds expectations - the service was warm and attentive and the accommodation stylish, well-appointed and spotlessly clean. The food was exceptional - beautifully presented, freshly prepared breakfast and an excellent dinner menu, with daily specials. My husband is on a gluten-free diet - he was delighted with the range of GF options and the way in which other dishes were readily adapted. The Lure has a great location overlooking the old square and represents the very best that a boutique adults-only hotel can offer.

Nothing!!

Upon arrival at the Lure hotel my wife and I were treated exceptionally well by the wonderful staff who couldn't do enough for us. The room was lovely and clean and kept that way every day by the staff. The breakfasts were great with a good choice every morning. The main meals were the best we had during our week's holiday on the Island and I would highly recommend going there to eat even if your not staying at the hotel. The owner and his staff were very knowledgeable about the Island and recommended some great places to visit for us as first time visitors to Malta. We hope to go back one day and the Lure Hotel will most definitely be our first choice.

There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

Everything about our stay was beyond anything we could have imagined - every morning we were served the most beautiful breakfast, and the staff were so welcoming and seemed to know exactly what we wanted or needed before we even realised. Our experience was totally personalised and unforgettable. I cannot speak highly enough of every single member of staff, who made us so welcome from start to finish. The rooms are stunning, the pool has the most amazing view over the square and the cathedral, and you can even order lunch or drinks up to it. The food in the restaurant is exceptional. We were made to feel like absolute royalty. Thank you!

Possibly one or two extra vegetarian options on the menu, but the options that were on offer were exceptional.

Everything was fantastic! Especially the customer service and the spa! I had the most incredible massage and facial from Ruth. Rooftop pool is also incredible. Breakfast was lovely. Location was fantastic. Lobby and restaurant of hotel was divine. Fabulous waiter called Alexandria. Food delicious! Lovely cocktails also. A real peak was being in the rooptop pool and having a waiter call up to offer us a drink. I had a margarita which was divine and served with peanuts and olives at my poolside. Absolute VIP treatment.

Our room was beautiful but we were a small bit cold without a duvet during the night and just sleeping in sheets but we never actually asked if there were duvets available. We should have. Our room also smelled a tiny bit musty but I'm sure it was just our room (101) and again we didn't complain. Knowing the level of customer service I'm sure they may have helped with this matter but we were so thrilled with everything else it didn't bother us too much. I would still definitely go back.

Everything! A stunning hotel with very tasteful decor in a great location. The Staff were so friendly nothing was too much and we came away feeling like we’d made some great friends. The breakfast was amazing and a fantastic start to the day. The beds were so comfortable we didn’t want to get out of them, consequently we were always late for breakfast! Being a small hotel with only 12 rooms means that you get a really personal service. The roof top pool was always quiet and a great place to end the day. The restaurant food was excellent compliments to the chef. The spa facilities were first class a very relaxing place to be and I thoroughly recommend the reflexology treatment. All in all I couldn’t fault our stay and as a result we are going to book again next year.

There was nothing to dislike

Wow, this hotel was incredible! we arrived and were given a warm welcome by the lady at reception. e lovely welcome drink whilst we checked in a wonderful start to the amazing stay. it is beautifully designed, the breakfast and dinner was amazing. room beautifully furnished. so comfortable. and the welcome bottle and nibbles was a lovely surprise. we will never forget Lure hotel, it was incredible! thank you Garrett and team for all the effort and smiles!
