Really nice, but quite large hotel, with nice facilities, a beautiful view, beautiful pool areas and a nice beach. Kayaks, sup, and jet skis are rented, the price was on the expensive end, several 5+ hotels offer it for free or at a low price, to their guests. The hotel’s restaurants have a large selection, as well as room service. Everything appears clean and delicious, and the majority of the staff appeared friendly and welcoming. Henri, who met us when we arrived, was really funny and charming, and very serviceminded. Only minus during our stay was the overly loud music that was played every other day, with monotonous bass rhythm that totally pollutes the atmosphere on the beach, and made it difficult to talk together (unless you shouted) -there were even played from two different facilities close together so that the music flowed on top of each other. Several families with children left the beach due to the music, despite friendly requests from several of the guests to the pool bar, there was no turning down! Maybe a minor thing, but still to great annoyance, and reason why we might want to opt out of this hotel another time! Holidays on a beach are for us coziness and ripples, and if there is to be music, it must be subdued and harmonious rhythms, not hammering disco rhythms. Another thing we missed was smoking areas, as non-smokers are the nuisance of sitting between smokers, both by the pool and on the beach. But all in all, a fine hotel with a great location, delicious facilities and a high level of service.

The staff were great and Vipin at reception was brilliant! He checked us in and gave us lots of advice about what to see. He also sorted some special vegetarian breakfast out for us on the last day. It was my birthday, so they left us a cake too!

The breakfast was good, but for 5 stars could be more different. The location is isolated, no promenade or city near to hotel, but there are some water activities on the beach. The private beach is small, but could find a place, on the pool area also there were a lot of space and places to take sunbathing. The animation team is very weak, some activities were ok, only twice a week was mini disco and in the small room. There were some master classes like making pizza or cupcakes( once a week). The air-conditioner worked only some 3-4 hours( i think it was programmed), then it turned off.

We booked the suite which came with equipped kitchen. Facility in the hotel - you have a deli shop for small grocery requirement like water, milk, fruits etc. there is an indoor and outdoor pool and kids loved it. There is also a gym which was functional and had good equipments. Breakfast - gentleman (Henry) at the breakfast entrance was very passionate about client experience. Staff really took good care of us during breakfast and there were lot of options available. Location - It’s located next to Golden Bay Sands beach. It also has a private beach and sun beds are free for the hotel guests. These sun beds are managed by Med Asia restaurant. There are also some gazebos available which have some minimum spend charges against them (€40 during weekday and €80 during weekends / bank holidays). Staff - we always came back to a clean room and the cleaning staff was as very professional and nice. We received a handwritten note from the cleaning staff, Prakash which was very nice personal touch. Whenever we asked for some extra service like tea bags and milk, it was fulfilled promptly. Reception - people at reception were always ready to help and explain the details.

The first thing when I arrived was to pay my family stay in advance and I had to do it. Than I was asked if I want to open an account in hotel so to put all expenses (drink, food etc) on room account. I said yes but again I was asked to pay 700 eur in advance like a deposit (100eur/day). I refused. Too many formal rules in the hotel which are annoying. We booked family Apartment and sofa bed for kids was really below any hotel level quality. Less important - furniture is very old. Restaurants - overpriced (except Italian restaurant). Pool opened until 8pm and pool bar opened only until 5pm There are security persons who look at your balcony and warn you if you put towel which can be seen. Pool was empty and they remove your towel if you make a break during the strongest heat!?

lots of sun beds. no need to rush or spin around to find chairs. staffs are very kind. rooms are cleaned everyday with free small water bottles. swimming pool was big enough and you can reach to the private beach easily even a hot day using elevator. there are 3 buildings? and it connected each other by just a little walking and using elevators. You may need a day to get used to. don't hesitate to ask a way to staffs, kind peoples are everywhere. hotel has shuttle service. that was very comfortable.

location. it is little isolated from cities. we like this calm area but to enjoy more Maltese restaurants you need a taxi. within 1-2 mint. Bolt comes so taking a taxi is not a matter. and taxi fare is not expensive.

Breakfast was amazing, as was the entire staff at the Radisson. Henri and the rest of the ladies and gentlemen serving breakfast were incredibly helpful and polite. The upper deck pool was always clean and there were always beds available.

The shower drain was a bit narrow so the bathroom floor kept getting flooded with the water from the shower. The food at Agliolio and the Mokka lounge were very basic and didn't particularly impress us. I think if the Radisson group were to invest in tastier options in terms of menu and hire more chefs and cooks it could definitely improve the overall experience.

The location and view are priceless. This is one of the nicest beaches and most scenic areas in Malta, and the Hotel sits right on top of it. The staff is very proactive, polite and the service is excellent. Private beach, pool area, indoor pool/sauna/gym all excellent. Breakfast is a great buffet with all expected options. Essence Indian restaurant is a must.

We've been to this hotel many times and we used to enjoy using the terrace with deckchairs near the beach which has now been leased to Medasia. Service at the beach is also not as good as previous years.

I don’t understand why hotel charges 3euro for car parking for guests

The location of the hotel is unique on Malta, with direct view and private access to Golden Sands beach. It's a bit far away from inhabited centers but it's worth it. The golden sands tower suites are exceptionally large (I stayed in the 2 bedrooms suite) and well furnished. The pools are very nice and have a spectacular view of the cove. Staff was excellent. Very good value for money.

I booked the 2 bedrooms suite and it was very beautiful, modern and well furnished. The view was disappointing though, because I expected to see the sea directly from the windows (there was a parking instead). Other similar rooms had better orientation, ask before booking. The food at the buffet was generally good, although I would have expected some higher standards.
