Lovely hotel. 2 bedroom apartment was very spacious and had all we needed. Infinity pool great, and we loved cocktail happy hour in the Cave Bar. All staff the were very friendly and helpful

There was a bit of a musty smell in the apartment. Glass balcony was not very private, especially with communal sunbeds on other side. The Cave bar was quiet at night, and although there was live music on somenights, it needed advertising more.

The beds are very comfortable, the size of the room is quite good, the food is quite ok however at the breakfast there could be different type of eggs offered. The spa area is quite good but small. Cave bar next to the pool is nice to have with very reasonable prices. Overall the hotel is very clean. The staff is helpful. We recommend to have a car if you come to this hotel and visit Paradise beach/Popeye village for relaxation.

The hotel could be called hotel labyrinth as it has 3 different elevators/staircases to access the rooms/different areas. From our room we should have used 3 elevators to access the pool/spa, 2 for the restaurant and 2 for the reception. Our room was on the 6th floor, reception is on 6 th floor, restaurant is on 3rd floor and pool is on 4th floor. So you keep travelling up and down walking on corridors constantly which takes a lot of time and can be very inconvinient if the Hotel is busy. We were very unlucky as a big construction is going on next to the roof top pool which made it quite inconvinient to stay there due to the noise. On the other hand pools are tiny, if you want to relax/sunbath in a busier period you need to go to beaches nearby.

The hotel facilities were great. We had all the space needed to accommodate the large number of people visiting malta. The sea view was wonderful. Every evening and morning, it was great to breathe in the fresh air and look at the beautiful view. Special shout to Henrik at reception. He made sure we were taken care of from the first day. He probably got tired of my voice and seeing me at reception with queries, but he really made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The daily buffet was also another good element to the hotel. There was always something that suited everyone, and the breakfast options were just as good. If you're coming as a big family, considering the half board option as the choices are pretty good and good value for money. The pool options were great too, my youngest son spent most of his time in the pools. The facilities were always very clean and ample for everyone. All in all, we would definitely go back Pergola hotel &Spa. Infact, were planning our next trip 😊

The apartment room we had was great however, there was only one bathroom for 7people! Not ideal at all. That is the only thing I would change about our facilities. The other problem was the aircon. If the hotel knows when people are expected to check in, it would be a good idea to ensure the room is cool by the time of checking in and also to ensure the aircon system is working.

Location was perfect. Food was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Indoor pool and hot tub and sauna were included. Spa was excellent and was good value. Shower always had plenty of hot water if not good pressure. Da Ciccia restaurant has amazing food even gluten free with excellent service.

Elevator system was confusing due to different buildings and levels. Should have been made aware beforehand that evening meal you had to purchase your beverage even water. Rooms were not made up till afternoon sometimes 4 pm. They didn't always replenish toilet paper. The TV could have had more English speaking channels but this is a minor issue.

The rooftop pool and cave bar were gorgeous! We loved the panoramic views of the city and the opportunity to have breakfast outside. Staff at the hotel was so kind in decorating our room with flower petals and offering us a bottle of wine to celebrate our 5th anniversary. Beautiful hotel. We would definitely recommend to other travellers, and hope to return in the future.

I don't know that this can be improved, but the elevator system in the hotel can be a bit confusing since not all elevators access all levels of the hotel which can make getting to certain areas complicated, depending on where your room is located.

Huge Hotel, and a lots of place to hang out. The cave bar was nice, and the sundeck with the infinity pool was great!

The spa is too small for those quantity of guests. The sauna is poor, and the training equipments are step in models. our room should be with sea view, but there was a wall at the front of our balcony. the cleaners started to clean the sunbeds at 7:00 am (or maybe earlier), so you cant sleep from then.

The location is perfect for quiet and relaxing holiday. The room with a church view was divine. The hotel staff was very attentive, kind and helpful. The cleaning of the room was perfect, daily towels change. The sauna, indoor pool and outside pool were really good to have. The spa was really good, very relaxing atmosphere.

The music from the cave bar could be a bit repetitive and loud, so reading the book next to the pool was difficult. There was no solid soap or body lotion in the bathroom, and the shower gel was very thin. Taxi for the airport was booked through the hotel and it was late 25min. I know it is not a hotel’s fault but it increased the stress level.

Everything was according to my expectations. The hotel staff is attentive, polite, towels changed daily, cleaning in the room daily, 2000mA USB sockets in the room, so even if you don't have an EU-Malta adapter, you can power the phone via the usb cable. Very good breakfast and dinner, cleanliness in the restaurant, very good menus and cakes. Note that in the evening the drinks are not included in the menu, but in the morning they include coffee, tea, water, juice, ok. Access to the indoor pool should be allowed until later, because at 18.00 it is still early and during the day it is normal for tourists to visit the areas of the island. Honestly, I didn't get to the indoor pool, but I think it's ok. The bus station is 100 meters away, you can reach almost everywhere where there are tourist attractions in a maximum of one hour. Overall, everything is ok.

Honestly, the sheet from my comforter on the bed was torn. I left this thing one morning with the intention of being noticed by the maid, but it was not changed.

The location of the hotel is great. The buffet dinner offering is diverse and one can find some great pieces every night. The cave bar and pool has a picturesque view of the cathedral which is really special. Furthermore the staff keeps the rooms clean every day.

For me the most painful point in the hotel was that the staff doesn’t speak English or speak it at a very low level. This is even true for the receptionist. We asked some simple questions and they just couldn’t answer it.

The hotel is 30 mins from the Airport (60 mins in rush hours), nice location, beautiful panorama from the 7th floor, good vibe comes from the Cave bar, if you are on the balcony. Breakfast was good, wide variety of food from 7:30 to 10:00. The hotel staff was very friendly even at 1:30 am.

Heating is not possible before 9pm, and that’s efficiency is tending to zero. The room was a bit smelly, after 3 days we couldn’t get rid of it. The heater’s noise in the room was too loud, and the heater’s outside unit’s noise level was even higher. Not pleasant to sleep in this noise. Heating was only possible from 9pm, not a good idea in 14 degrees. The bed was not so comfortable, my mattress was ‘U’ shaped.
