Uncomfortable steps to the top floor. Breakfast could be more variety and vegetarian friendly with more fresh fruit and better bread and jam varieties.

The building is beautifully restored and furnished and the rooms are well equiped and comfortable. Its very close to central saint juliens and restaurants The breakfast was gorgous. Cathy the host couldnt have been more helpfull with advise on what to do and where else to stay during our 2 week trip to Malta and Gozo. She was a very helpful, welcoming host.

Saint Juliens is an hour (walk, buss and ferry) from Valetta and Three Cities. It took an hour and 30 minutes to get to Three Cities on the hop on/hop of bus. The balconies are small but do the job.

Cathy was a great host,easy to communicate with her via whatsapp and she gave us good tips to discover Malta.Great location,you can reach the Spinola Bay with restaurants and shops easily.Bus and Bolt both are very convenient to go somewhere in the island.Coffee machine on every floor is a big plus.

We were in the first floor and the street is a bit noisy in the early morning but there is AC in the room.The breakfast could have a bigger variety for example scrambled eggs.

This is an exceptional house. Not only for the modern features mixed with Maltese tradition, but for the hospitality of Cathy. Cathy goes out of her way to ensure every aspect of your stay at the Stone House and on the island is perfect. This is a true hidden gem and one of the most magical places I have ever stayed at. The rooms are stylish and well thought out. The building is relaxed and informal and you can mix with other guests as much or as little as you like. The location is perfect. A minutes walk to St Julian but so peaceful at night.

I found The Stonehouse browsing on line and what a lucky find! Immediately welcomed by kind owner Cathy who is knowledgeable and helped me plan to get the most out of my trip, lending me a book and providing maps, and even making a dinner reservation. My room was SPOTLESS an oasis of calm, I can't describe how lovely it was! Generous breakfast, and coffee tea, water and nibbles available for each room. Fluffy towels, quality toiletries and an extremely comfortable bed. 10/10, faultless. Absolutely my best hotel experience ever!

We loved the authenticity of this stunning place, the generous sized rooms all decorated individually in keeping with the style of the building. The outdoor/indoor dining area and pool and walled garden was fabulous. The location in St. Julian’s was also a bonus close enough to the waterfront shops and bars but far enough away from noise and traffic.

There’s nothing that we didn’t love about this property, apart from having to leave it🥲

The location is great in a quiet area only few steps to restaurants and crowds. The Stonehouse is indeed made of stones and gives so authentic atmosphere. The room was very big, clean and has so many Maltese details, bed and pillows give perfect sleep. The breakfast is excellent with local fresh fruits and variety of products. Cathy is incredible host, she is creating personalized tour and visits tips for each guests...she is giving extra value to the stay in Stonehouse. I would definitely come back again.

Cathy is a great host. She makes you feel home an is always happy to give recommendations about trips and what to do on the islands. The location is close to loads of restaurants and bars and if you like to walk a little it is within walking distance to the ferry to Valletta (20-30 Min.). It's accessible by car, although the streets are narrow and parking might be a little tricky. We always found a parking spot right in front of the building (but look for signs at the building across the street for potential parking restrictions on workdays). Good breakfast and a lovely little eating and pool area in the quiet.

Cathy is the best host, very hospitable, nice, full of energy. She helped us to plan our trip and enjoy the best from the islands. The whole accommodation has charming atmosphere, original design and is very comfortable. The backyard with swimming pool is cozy and relaxing, breakfasts (8:30-10:30am) very good with local ingredients. The location is good starting point for exploring the whole Malta, we would stay the whole time if we could 🥰

The property was just the sort of place we like to stay at - loads of character and was very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was a lovely mix of healthy Mediterranean food. The location was good as well. It was close to St Julian’s but far enough away to not have the noise associated with being close.
