Friendly attentive staff welcomed by personal butler taking care of all needs during the stay incl. reservations at restaurants, also seen us goodbye at time of checkout. Our villa had a private pool it was an upgrade to what we've booked (thank you for that)., villa is spacious has all what would make our stay infront of a beatiful wavy beach just peacful and joyable. Food is good , breakfast buffet is delicious with lots of varaietes to choose from incl. Fresh fruits and juices.all Food is Halal which is a plus point. probably one of the best resorts In Mauritius wouLd vIsIt agaIn.

Mosquitos despite insect sprays, not all beach areas are suitable for swimming due to rocks , the north side of the resort where our villa was located has rocky beach, the other side ( villas without private pool) has lovely sand beach, not a problem though, still can reach there by foot!

Beautiful resort & view at the beach, private & quiet beach area (even though the resort was fully booked) very friendly staff & personal attention. Perfect stay for relaxation and unwinding.

There are no restaurants or shops nearby the resort. No activities in the village in the evening. Quite expensive food.

Beautiful, intimate place. Amazingly attentive staff and Manager. Mr. Brice Pean. The first time we have seen a manager’s presence at every meal. The food was outstanding in the rum shed and the 3 guys working there made us feel very special. The lady who was the head concierge was so welcoming every time we came back to the lobby and organised that our golf bags were bought out on time and gave my husband a sleeve of Shanti Maurice golf balls which was a lovely memory. We really enjoyed playing golf at the Avalon golf club where the transport was also included . Lovely quiet beach with beds, coconut umbrellas and towels so inviting. Fabulous short break we had all in all we give 10/10 for the whole stay. Thank you Shanti Maurice team🙏 We had a suite on the beach and the view every morning we woke up to was stunning and the sunsets were out of this world. There was a lovely putting green and giant chess set. All in all a beautiful place and I will look forward to return with my family. Everything about Shanti Maurice is outstanding! Where do I start? It is one of the most thoughtfully conceptualised properties I have stayed at. From the flora and fauna, the avian population, to the beautifully designed rooms and common areas, it reflects an ethos of sustainable luxury. The spa should be on your list when you stay at the property. It is for a reason that they are the top rated spa in Mauritius. My aesthetician was Sheila, and she was amazing. I actually dozed off during the facial, that is how good she was! Overall, I would highly recommend this property for anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway in very natural surroundings with spectacular views from each room!

There is little to fault with this hotel. Fantastic staff, beautiful grounds and delicious food. The rooms were very comfortable and well maintained, and the view over the ocean is a magical way to wake up in the morning. The staff were able to help with any request, including organizing excellent tours off the property. The spa is apparently the largest in the Indian Ocean and has more treatment options than you can imagine. The beach is beautiful and the snorkelling right off the beach is pretty impressive. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone stay here who is looking for a relaxing holiday in the less developed south coast of Mauritius.

Our second time staying at the beautiful resort. Even after 4 years it is in great shape. The staff are just amazing: big shout out to Ashwyna and her team at the All Stars restaurant. A small resort where you can just spend your days on the beach or by the pool, do sport or go to the amazing spa! The Ayurveda treatments are heavenly, Dr Tiwari of great advise and care and Deepak for the amazing yoga lessons. Great kids club, keeping them entertained and the open air cinema. The restaurant and food were lovely and I very much enjoyed my birthday surprise dinner on the beach. Thank you to the concierge Sandy for organising an amazing trip out to swim with dolphins and see whales!!! A really wonderful holiday on such a beautiful island.

We spent 10 days at Shanti Maurice as a family of six and have nothing but positive things to say. The Shanti Villa was not only spacious and well-equipped but also offered breathtaking views of the ocean. The cleanliness was impeccable, and we felt very comfortable from the start. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, anticipating our every need. We would especially like to highlight Amal, who took care of all our wishes with great attention and always discreetly in the background. His dedication truly made our stay unforgettable. We were also impressed by the excellent, welcoming service in the restaurant and the various dining venues. The breakfast was abundant and offered a good selection of fresh and high-quality dishes every day. The hotel facilities, especially our pool and the spa area, were simply stunning. We were able to relax wonderfully and leave the everyday behind. The beachfront location is ideal, the water crystal clear, and there are plenty of loungers for all guests. We particularly enjoyed the long walks along the expansive beach – it was just delightful to discover a new piece of paradise every day. A small suggestion for improvement would be the tennis courts, which could use a bit of renovation and care. We also recommend that future guests rent a car to better explore the beautiful island of Mauritius. There are so many hidden gems to discover on your own. Following a recommendation, we booked a 7-seater with Holiday Mauritius Car Us Ltd. Excellent service at an unbeatable price – the car was delivered to the hotel and picked up again according to our wishes at no extra cost. Again, we encountered extremely friendly and attentive staff. Overall, our 10 days at Shanti Maurice were an unforgettable vacation, and we would not hesitate to recommend the hotel. We are already looking forward to our next visit!"

Location, Sea, view, pool, in particular the adult one at the Spa, the beautiful surroundings, the birds and the Breakfast and most of the staff were just great

A clear lack of interest of some of the staff which was not so nice compared to other resorts we visited on the island. We did not feel special despite being there for our wedding anniversary. We were offered the club experience, ok but when you are told that if you don't want to stay inside, you have to seat on sand bags when you are over 60 in a 5 stars hotel... you don't feel special at all. Management should be more present and see this kind of experience

The whole place was amazing, there was an immediate feeling of calm on entering the resort - it was like entering a serene world. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Food was great, pool and surroundings also had a spacious feeling of calm. Breakfast was all you could ever ask for. Accommadation was great, very comfortable beds, huge bathroom - outdoor private shower in junior beach front suite - views over the sea, fall asleep to the distant crashing of waves on the reef and wake up to birdsong - what's not to love - thank you for a great stay. P.s we enjoyed feeding the fish too

Only tiny thing did notice birds perching and nibbling the bread and croissants - may need more protection the food in this area as it is a hygiene risk
