The location and the staff at Bahia were great. The renovated rooms on level 5 were nice.

The staff at Sur Beach House were horrible and rude. We had a booking (under our room number) for beach chairs and they treated us like absolute idiots and made us wait for 10 minutes while they "checked some umbrellas", and never returned to us. Our friend was already inside so she came and found us and we walked it by ourselves while the staff glared at us. I left shortly after that to go back to my room, and received the same attitude by the same staff when I returned to Sur Beach House. It was really awful.

The 3 things that made this stay exceptional are the BEDS (super comfy), the RESTAURANT (best braised short rib I’ve ever had in my life) and the SERVICE (wonderful staff). The property is super clean and all the rooms are easily accessed through the main lobby. The pool is nice and shaded with a swim-up bar; a great place to hang after at day a the beach or an excursion. The bar and restaurant atmosphere make for a great place to have a drink while your kids are in the room watching a movie. There was an acoustic, one-man band playing while we had dinner that was made the experience absolutely perfect! Emmanuel is the manager of the restaurant and continues to make improvements to the menu and it is one of the best meals I’ve had, EVER. Great job Bahia!!!

We had a room without a view but every other aspect of the experience at Bahia made this a non-issue.

Our stay in this place was nothing short of amazing given its unbeatable location in the most desirable area of the city. From the quaint restaurant serving meals to the friendly and courteous staff, all aspects made for a memorable experience. The rooms were great - tastefully designed with clean and fresh fittings. In short, our one night here felt like many more, and left us feeling content in our hearts or warmth in remaining memories.

The room was large, clean and open space. They thought of every aspect, closet, large full size mirror, mini bar and snack area, couch, great wifi, the gym was amazing and pool area relaxing. The beach club was a very special place.

The hotel, restaurant, pool, and rooms were beautiful. The restaurant food was great.

This is not a beachfront hotel. They have access through a restaurant but don't explain that you have to reserve chairs in advance. Because of this, we didn't get access on the first day of check-in. I wish they were a little more clear about that before arrival.

Bar/ restaurant closes too early. They closed earlier than scheduled closing time on a few nights during our stay. Free breakfast is only for 1 menu item only and cannot be substituted or credited for any other items on menu. Only American breakfast offered with room price. Reservations required for beach chairs and only held for 15 minutes after scheduled time. No oversleeping allowed !

The property is conveniently located nearby the beach and the marina, in a quiet area. The personnel is very friendly and will do everything they can to make the stay enjoyable. They had live music at night in the restaurant. This is the right time of the year, not too busy.

Beer list is 90% IPA. No draft.

excellent location . Breakfast needs more variety for the free breakfast ,little boring .

Coffee in your rooms should definitely be complimentary .You should not be charged for the coffee pucks .This is the only hotel I have ever been to and have been charged for coffee .Ridiculous in my opinion .

The location is excellent and the property/rooms are very clean and stocked with nice amenities. I love that you have access to the SUR beach club too.

Could be a bit noisy but that’s due to the close proximity that puts you within walking distance to everything.
