Where do I start?! To begin with, the two girls on staff here went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied and as content as possible. The owner greeted us and made us feel welcome while answering the few questions we had about parking. After check-in, we were given a tour of the entire property that was more extensive than I realized when booking. There were 5 total floors, among them being a lounge for guests with music, television, computer, landlines, complimentary snacks and non-alcoholic beverages, and a full bar for a small fee. The pool deck had a hot/cold tub that was very comfortable for the hot days, four loungers to catch some sun and enjoy the ocean view and sunset, and more complimentary snacks and beverages. Above that was the breakfast dining room and patio. I was shocked at the level of service and quality of food for a complimentary breakfast! The best omelet I have ever had with the most beautiful view! The chef served a new dish every morning but breakfast always started with yogurt, fresh fruit, granola, coffee, and the option for agua fresca. The dining experience was an event, and we felt catered to in such a sweet way and left feeling completely satisfied. Luna and Camilla, the owner's kitties were a delightful addition of character to the property. We had fun spotting them around the property and giving them morning scratches on our way out for the day. I ended up coming down with the flu while we were there, unfortunately, but the property and room were so comfortable it felt like the best place to be sick as it had all the comforts of home and the staff was helpful in guiding us to a pharmacy to pick up some medicine. We will absolutely return to Residence Las Flores! 10/10 recommend it to anyone considering staying here.

The only note I have is that the hotel itself could be a little easier to identify as there are several doors and when you first arrive, it can be a little confusing. Beyond that, there is not one moment of our trip that we would have changed. The owner of this hotel has considered every aspect of the guest's comfort and we felt completely at ease in this space. We were also confident that should we have an issue, we could have made that known and the staff would have done what they could to make sure it was resolved.

Fantastic property, very unique. Staff was awesome and breakfast was a great way to start the day. Easy walk to restaurants and the Malecon but far enough away to cut down on the noise. Very quiet neighborhood except for a dog that needs some quality time with Cesar Millan... see negatives.

The only negative has nothing to do with the property, but it is a residential area and a neighbor has dogs that seem to bark all night. It was hot so we had the AC on but without the white noise (much appreciated btw) I may have needed earplugs to keep the hounds at bay.

I felt like I was in a work of art, not just a hotel! I had a last minute detour and needed to find last minute accommodations in La Paz...I couldn't believe my luck to find this gorgeous hotel at such a reasonable price! Walking in, you can tell it is a beautifully and skillfully designed home, not just a hotel. I was delighted by the level of care and attention to detail and design at every turn. The service and staff were top tier as well...So many thoughtful touches and extra amenities and courtesies that made me feel more than well cared for! The beds and rooms are beautiful, large, very comfortable, and so well appointed. The location is perfect, just a couple of blocks from the Malecon and minutes from the center of town. The terrace views are stunning. It was perfect and amazing in every way. Overall, a phenomenal stay, and I can't wait to get back soon :)

Nothing - it was excllent!

This is a boutique luxury villa style hotel, with only 7 or 8 suites and it was amazing. The location is nice and very close to all. A 2 block walk to the Malecon and across from the beach. The room was so expansive and comfortable, there is a living room, bedroom mini bar area with lots of snacks, waters, and tea and coffee and giant balcony with sea view. The room had the feel of a luxury hacienda villa, bed was king size, nice linens and very comfortable - could not have been any better. The bathroom was big, plenty of lights and space and a spa shower, plenty of towels. The hotel is absolutely stunning and beautifully decorated. The breakfast space is on the rooftop bar, with a glorious 360 view of La Paz and the sea, perfect- beginning to end. Miguel the chef prepared gourmet breakfast daily and it was the best meals we had on our trip overall. Staff - including Laura - were top notch. The lounge areas both the top floor hot tub area and the 3rd floor lounge were delightful. The roof top had a hot tub, seating, gathering space and had minibar selections. The 3rd floor lounge was a beautiful private area with satellite TV, comfortable couches, chess table and lovely cocktail and wine minibar set up, a luxurious lounge that we enjoyed very much. The hotel owner Guiseppe greeted up and was convivial and delightful, you can tell he loves his guest and the hotel. Highly recommend a stay here.

There isnt much to to complain about, This is in a neighborhood so you will hear dogs barking, but this is not the fault of the hotel. I did have a problem with too much light in the room at night and the staff put up extra curtain for me, it was perfect.

Our three-night stay was perfect. The property is stunning, with five gorgeous (big!) suites and several common areas, some with fantastic views of the city and ocean. The king bed was super comfy. Every area is very tastefully decorated—the owner obviously takes great care. The staff was great too, and Lara, our host, was wonderful. Breakfast each morning was beyond expectation and the chef accommodated our vegetarian diets with skill. We parked on the street outside of the property with no issue or problem and walked almost everywhere. The location is close to the ocean and it takes a few minutes to get to the city centre. Made for quiet nights although I think dogs bark everywhere in La Paz. They have an “honour system” bar with low/reasonable prices, which is fun and allows you to enjoy the beautiful property even more! Highly recommended and worth every penny.

Nothing—everything was great! Would be helpful to have signage out in front of the property, to help guests find it more easily. Take note of the address.

Location was great just two blocks from the Malecon. We had the superior room on the first floor (which is actually the second floor). The place was very clean and Laura was great and helped us with everything. The breakfast was great and on the top floor (4th floor) and has a great view. They supply plenty of water, soda, and snacks in your room and there is an honor bar on the third floor. Note, there are a lot of stairs, I would not recommend for someone who is stair challenged even though there is a small elevator that goes from the lobby to the third floor.

Our bathroom had a bit of a septic smell that apparently came from the shower. The staff did some cleaning of the drain and it helped a bit, but it never quite went away. The location is in a neighborhood so there was a little dog barking but not enough to make it unpleasant.

We absolutely loved staying at Residence Las Flores. Very friendly owner and staff. Old world charm with gorgeous wood and metal art throughout. We absolutely loved the morning breakfast and rainwater 🌧️ showerhead in our Suite. Giuseppe the owner and Elsa our hostess were very accommodating. The freshly cooked breakfast and fruit in the morning was wonderful. It was also nice having plenty of water, snacks and sodas. The hot tub was cool 82° during the 95° heat wave. I forgot my phone at checkout and they were quick to find and return it. We would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Must be cat friendly, there are 2 on the property (which we loved)!

There are some dogs on adjoining properties which bark if you're on the terrace. Parking is limited.

this is a unique and lovely property so close to the beach. despite being so close to the beach it was impeccably clean and there was no sand all over the place. the room was comfortable. the host and staff were amazing. parking was easy.

The wash cloths provided for removal of makeup and sunscreen are too soft to be effective. Regular terry cloth for this process would be appreciated. 

Such a lovely small hotel, richly decorated, uniquely constructed, very comfortable, unusually generous with snacks and drinks, helpful and professional staff and sweet cats to make us feel at home.

Our only complaint would be that in our room there were lights shining in from the outside (on the plants) and that made our room very bright at night. As a light sleeper I would have much preferred the option of turning those outside lights off.

We stayed for 9 days and from the moment we arrived we were treated with incredible hospitality, Alejanda is amazing and not only was the service outstanding she also gave us so many tips on places to eat, tours to take...we took the advice and had such an amazing time. I had some wonderful, deep and thought provoking conversations with the owner, he is a super lovely man! Our amazing breakfast chef cooked a nice variety and was very accommodating for any changes we asked. The rooms are wonderful and seem individually curated with such attention to detail. The cats are super cute and really friendly. We were always topped up with many bottles of water and coffee for the coffee machine in the room.It feels like (and it is) a home, not just a hotel.
