The hotel was close to everything. Everything was walking distance and felt safe. It was always so clean. There wasn’t a time I walked out of my room and didn’t see someone cleaning. The fellow who spoke English at the hotel was extremely helpful, kind and courteous. He gave us his personal number if we needed anything 24/7. The price was more than fair for the service we received. They saved our whole trip! We came from a very expensive resort and we didn’t feel any less coming here. I would 10/10 choose Hotel Boutique over any expensive resort if I came back to San Jose Del Cabo!

Our king suite was large and had everything we needed. We love separate shower, toilet and sink!! The best! The bed was big, the AC was quiet, the room itself was very quiet. Very clean. Parking. Good location. There are no windows as rooms face the inside courtyard, so the rooms are dark - this place is for sleeping, not for enjoying the views. There was a lot of lighting options in the room and it worked great for us! Just don't expect the view/pool/what not. Wifi is fast. Staff is nice.

I would skip breakfast next time, nothing to write home about. Also - very important - this hotel isn't accessible! You need to take your luggage up and down stairs, which can be a problem even for able-bodied people, but there's no way to get to the rooms/breakfast area other than flights of stairs.

It was clean, the air conditioner worked really well. The bed was comfortable. Quiet. The bathroom laid out a bit weird for 2 men sharing the room. No door, the toilet and shower are separated with the sink in between. If you're traveling with a significant other it would be fine.

There was no hot water while I took a shower at night, my friend took a shower in the morning and there was hot water. Seems to be inconsistent. The indoor window should have blackout curtains as the outside hallway has extremely bright lights that light up the entire room while trying to sleep. No refrigerator or microwave.

The rooms were very clean, staff was excellent; attentive, helpful with restaurant suggestions, map and directions. Some are bilingual. We liked the location, away from big hotels and easy walking to central Plaza, old Town galleries and eateries. What we liked the most was easy walk to the slough for birding, turtles, iguanas, etc. Breakfast is ok. But we recommend Frieda Cabo, a 5 minute walk north on Hwy 1.

The room was stuffy and humid, no outside window. There is an airconditioner that helps cool air, but does not bring in fresh. The window opens to an inside hallway, where sounds echo. Also hot water took a while to arrive so we felt bad about running water in a water starved town. I usually took first shower( cool). Friends followed when it got hot. They should consider on demand water heaters.

Located right along the main road about a 10 - 15 minute walk to plaza Mijares. Some restaurants and oxxo right around the corner i was able to check our call an uber from the lobby and be in the airport walking to security in 30 minutes flat with decent traffic simple and effective

it isn’t fancy be advised the window faces the hotel lobby not outside but it’s not an issue for me the property is really nice for the price staff were also excellent

It appeared to be a very new building with new furnishings. The front desk staff person(sorry, I’ve forgotten his name) was very helpful giving directions and recommending an excellent local restaurant we could walk to for dinner. He also allowed us to extend our checkout time by an hour as our friends were delayed in picking us up. They kept our belongings behind the desk so we could still wait there beyond check out time. Room with two queen beds was very large and beds were comfortable. Despite its location right on a very busy highway the room was quiet.

Very centrally located. doesn’t look like much from the parking area but don’t let it fool you-even though it is on the main highway our room was nice and quiet and very comfortable. Great place and we would stay again!

I like very firm and fluffy pillow so they were a little flat for me, but I used 2 of them and it was fine.

The room was quiet, clean and comfortable! The staff was amazing! The lady at the front desk was very accommodating, friendly, and professional. Good food upstairs :-) 

I have nothing bad to say about this place. So much better than the places in Cabo I stayed. 

The rooms were huge and clean; staff was friendly. We liked the vibe, very cute hotel and the large king suite was Amazing!

My only big complaint is that the blinds let in a lot of light, from our room to the hotel. If the blinds were black out and the sound barriers better (we heard lots of noises), it would be a 10.

The comfiest beds we slept in in Los Cabos! So pleasantly surprised! It is the perfect stop if you are looking for a comfortable clean spot to just sleep. We used it as a base for one night and then changed but we slept so badly in the other place that was on the beach (awful bed, noisy) that we decided to go back here for 3 more days and just went to beach clubs to spend the day. Best value for money in san jose by far, we saved on hotel, slept super well and splurged in restaurants and beach clubs.

You have to be ok with not seeing the sun, there is a window but it opens to a corridor that stays lit up quite late at night and there are no black out curtains. We called it our little bunker and used it just to sleep and it was perfectly fine, as we were always out and about to eat and enjoy the beach.
