The location was excellent - right in the centre of the action but still quiet. The lady by the pool (Eva I think was your name) was so friendly and helpful.

We probably had the worst room - it was right above reception. Even so, it was still quiet and we didn’t mind too much. One day we returned from a long day trip with a friend who wasn’t staying at the hotel. It was about 6pm, the sun was going down and we were the only people by the pool. We got in for a dip and we were quickly told that we would be charged for him going into the pool. Apparently this was in the agreement we signed when we checked in (which we didn’t read). I understand that hotels have to have rules and they don’t want anyone coming in and using their facilities but some discretion to the rules could’ve been used. We were staying for 10 nights, spending lots of money at the bar and he was in the pool for about 15 minutes when nobody else was there.

We had a fantastic experience from looking to check out. My spouse and I had to change our travel dates unexpectedly, and they were so accommodating and understanding. We were traveling with some friends to celebrate my birthday, and each of us all will be back to stay again. They made sure we were all well taken care of, and they even decorated my room for a birthday surprise welcome! It was such a kind and thoughtful gesture, and it was truly appreciated. Carlos was one of our go to guys if we needed anything at all. He was very helpful and courteous every time. We also had the absolute pleasure of spending some time with the bartender Ava, and getting to know an incredible person. When you stay, please make sure to stop by the pool and enjoy one of her delicious cocktails. She was truly a gem to encounter, and we’d love to hopefully see our new friend again in the future. The hotel is very up-to-date, and everything about it was a comfortable stay. They have done such a great job with their decor and aesthetic. There’s a lot of great spots here for photo opportunities. The location is pristine, and extremely close to the best parts of Zona Romantica. 10/10 would recommend!

The only issue for our stay was technically out of the hotel’s hands. The Wi-Fi was not working for our entire stay, but the hotel already had work orders in for repairs and we’re waiting for the Internet company to come and fix the problem. It was apparently affecting a certain part of that area, so it wasn’t just the hotel itself. It wasn’t much of an issue for us, but for people who still had to work remotely, it may have.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Maria. The hotel is intimate, cute, colorful and comfortable. Easy walking to tons of restaurants and bars (the surrounding areas can get raucous and loud). The staff were wonderfully helpful when we had some small issues (no blankets in the room and it got quite cold at night). The hotel provides nice coffee and in-house pastries in the morning but there is no breakfast as such.

I didn't understand why there was such a large fridge in the room, given that there is no kitchen. I also would have loved to have blankets in the room because we were all really cold at night. I thought the hotel was a bit pricey for what it offered...but the staff was wonderful.

Reception from James and two other young men was very welcoming. We arrived to a SPOTLESS room. Our housekeeper kept the room immaculate during our stay. We left daily tips and told her how pleased we were with her attention to detail. This hotel is very quiet, yet steps away from all the action and only a block and a half from the beach. We had room 104 and it was nice to be up one flight of stairs so that we felt safe leaving our door open at night. The balcony allowed us to have our morning coffee in our pjs before venturing out for the day. We appreciated the larger fridge and freezer so that there was always cold beer and ice when we returned home for a night cap. The shower/bath is very clean and spacious and has exceptional water pressure. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved everything, however, keep in mind if you have mobility issues, the hotel is located on a steep street upwards from the beach and there are stairs to get to the hotel lobby. We didn’t mind as we thought it was good to walk off all the margaritas and amazing food just steps away from the hotel.

I liked everything! Absolutely everything! Starting with the friendly staff, you guys are the best, ending with cleanliness in the room! 4 minutes to the beach, the hotel is literally surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops, very quiet at night, a very clean pool in the courtyard, a bar with a very friendly and friendly bartender. Thanks a lot to the whole team of this hotel!

This is not a complaint, but a small remark! There were problems with the sockets in room 206, I do not know, only in this room or not. There are no sockets next to the beds, and in general there are very few of them. I would advise you to fix it, because there are no more comments!

The housekeeping, maintenance staff and bartender were great.

I had requested a specific room at the time of booking and did not get response from Hotel. They initially put us in room that was our least favorite. Booking was made well in advance that they could have made changes. I sent another email to property ; as a reminder; a week before arrival and still not receive response on room choice. Property is fairly small and they should have been able to accommodate or at least send response. I may have looked at other hotel options.

Casa María is gorgeous! Bright colours and artworks throughout the hotel. The room was a good size and the fridge and microwave are a great feature. The coffee and pastry for breakfast is a nice touch. The staff were very friendly and we loved that there was a bar. The pool area is very nice and clean.

We had a good view from level 2. The lower levels may not have as good a view but we were happy!

The breakfast was hot coffee and rolls. The bread was amazing. The cinnamin rolls were made that morning and were better than perfect. It is very clean and the staff is excellent. Shout out to Gabriel and to Eva for their wonderful customer services and personality. Some of the rooms have been upgraded. It really is a great place in an amazing location.

I liked everything. I have stayed there three previous visits. It is really a nice place and has gotten better with all the improvements.

It was a very nice boutique hotel in a wonderful location in the romantic zone. Easy walking distance to beach, restaurants and shopping. The pool area was wonderful and everything is well maintained. The staff is excellent and very attentive to your needs. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

The hotel is up a steep hill so it is not for the faint of heart. We are still waiting for our deposit to be refunded. Hopefully it will be forthcoming soon.

Location. Cheerful decorated and colored rooms and common spaces. Comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet, even if located in the heart of zona romantica!

The electricity plugs are placed in non convenient places: behind the fridge, beds or the furniture. Not next to the beds as we would have expected. The rooms next to the pool lack in privacy and are quite dark. The staff was very helpful and found for us a room in one of the higher floors. we thank him very much.
