I had a great experience at Hotel Roosevelt. The property is in a fantastic location for exploring the city (it was my first time in CDMX). It's a lovely and well maintained art deco era hotel. The front desk and restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful. I ate breakfast there nearly every day - it was good, plentiful, and a great price. I'll definitely stay at Hotel Roosevelt when I return to CDMX next year.

There were no downsides to my stay. There were some renovations/maintenance going on, which was understandable given that it's the off season. I was not inconvenienced, although it could get a bit loud. The hotel is at a very busy intersection, so sometimes there was some noise from traffic - I had my window open at night, so that's on me!

I liked that its proximity and accessibility to the Roma Norte and Condesa neighborhoods. Also it was really close to some good restaurants. It was easily identifiable from a busy street. Despite being on a busy street, the property is quiet.

The view wasn't the best because it was facing windows and walls of other hotel rooms. This normally wouldn't have been bad but it was hard to tell what the weather was like without having to walk out into the lobby. Also wish there was an AC in the room. I was able to open the window and use the ceiling fan, but then a mosquito got in and started biting me all over on my very last day.

This place is fantastic! Probably the best value in the area. The location is perfect, the staff is friendly, the room is comfortable, and they even sent a shuttle to pick us up from the airport. It's only about a 30 min walk from Chapultepec Park and there's a metrobus stop right outside that'll get you downtown easily. I would definitely recommend it.

This wasn't a problem for us at all but others might mind: our room didn't have air conditioning. We stayed in late May and felt comfortable. The nighttime temperatures were cool so with our window open and fan on, it was perfect. If you like to sleep super cold though, staying here in the warmer months might not work for you.

This is a great hotel!! The location is fantastic, central to Roma and La Condesa and we felt very safe - we walked nearly everywhere in that area and then it was a short uber ride to the historic centre/coyoacan/the airport. Our room was very spacious, had comfortable beds, hot shower and was regularly cleaned. We did not experience any issues with heat as in other reviews plus had a massive ceiling fan in the room. The hotel staff were unbelievably friendly, gave lots of tips on how to get around and what to do in CDMX. They also all spoke great English. We arrived at 5am in the morning and our room wasn't ready till 3pm, they did everything they could to make us comfortable in that time including advising us on how to get set up with a sim card. Would happily stay again!

Loved it all.

Brought the joy back on an otherwise stressful lodging situation for us. Our room was comfortable, had a great city view, location was excellent (short walk to Roma Norte; bus station in front). We admired the great craftsmanship (especially in the bathroom where the tiling work was artisanal). Beef taco platter was great too! The TV connected to our phone via Bluetooth and we had so much fun dancing to favs while facing the city (volume was low, ok). This should be a lot more expensive. Staff mentioned they're renovating; I know I will be back when it's done.

Nothing in particular. We couldn't locate the ceiling fan as the room ran a little hot. We realized it was behind the headboard the next morning taking the excuse to layer down and enjoy the excellent bedding.

In general I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Roosevelt, very clean, well located and the personnel were very attentive,. Same at the Restaurant. Appreciate the water bottle in the room. I would just recommend to have a mini-fridge in the room so you can keep your beverages cold during the hot weather.

Missing Air conditioner. Fan helps so so. Not having a mini-fridge Rooms on the main street are very nosy need a soundproofing system or something I'd still go back to Hotel Roosevelt in a room not facing the main street though

In a very central location so close to lots of things within walking distance. Easily accessible to bus, cabs, stores, restaurants nearby. Restaurant in hotel is also very convenient and food is tasty.

Very noisy since it's on a main street. Windows do not do much as far as keeping the noise out. There was also only one connection on the one side of the bed to plug in things like phones, cpap machine. We did ask for an extension cable with a power strip and they were able to give us that.

Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean, furniture in very good conditions, bed and pillows comfortable, breakfast ok at a fair rate, self parking in premises. Location is fantastic to enjoy the Condesa, it is close to everything and in one of the main streets in Mexico City.

No air condition in the room, maybe not necessary in regular times but this week has been specially warm in Mexico. While windows are insulating kind and block most of the noise from the street we did sleep with the window open to keep the room fresh, then temperature was perfect but had a noisy experience... There is a roof fan, but I can not use it, get ill immediately... One more comment about windows, it is possible to open them completely and could be dangerous if you have kids in your room, would suggest some additional protection or blocking to avoid a possible accident. Anyway the hotel is in very good conditions, well located, at fair rates and with good staff.

Good location ! We lived on the 4th floor, view to the road , but it wasn’t noisy ( windows don’t open).View to the city is good. We were two nights . First day staff was great the second day not so friendly. Bathroom was clean , and room cleaning came everyday. In the bathroom there were shower gel and shampoo , but in the second day refresh only shampoo ( besides the small size it was enough for two nights) . Elevator was fast and working :)

Some problems with the room card. You should wait more than three seconds to open the door and it can be opened not for the first time. But in the end we got it how it works . On the photos watch the time (seconds) - the video of attempts to get inside

The whole hotel was kept in a very good condition. Everything worked and was very clean. Excellent location and good value. It is at a busy street but I am not very sensitive to noise. Doesn't have A/C but a nice and effective ceiling fan above the bed. Staff were very friendly.

I tried the breakfast once. The coffee is quite bad and the food was just OK. Strange menu. I would eat somewhere else. Keep in mind you cannot have breakfast anywhere in Mexico before 8am unless you go grab something at a 24hr Seven Eleven.
