Pluses: Big closet! And it has hangers; not all hotels have them. 😆 Also has ironing board as well as iron. Nightstands on both sides of bed is another great touch. Long wooden bench area long enough to put 2 rolling carryons is also convenient. Decent shower. While not the most powerful, the water pressure is decent.
Tv inconveniently on side “desk”, making it pretty much impossible to sit in bed and watch a movie. No safety deposit boxes in rooms! Didn’t realize that upon booking (my mistake). Safety deposit boxes located at front desk, which is a bit inconvenient when the elevators are not in service during the hottest summer months and you are staying on the top floor. Outlets not very convenient (directly over bed; others a bit too far from nightstands. No AC (we knew when booking). Floor fans decent for now, but definitely would not be good for summer heat. The restaurant food was excellent, but the service was awful. Nice waiters, but very forgetful of clients.

The location directly across from the cathedral is convenient and provides lots of activities in walking distance. It is a lovely building with a great restaurant - however we suggest you sit inside for a quieter meal. The park across from the hotel was a delightful place to sit with lots of activity, families, entertainers - the best of Mexico.
The noise was over the top - even for Mexico. Luckily the rooms were adequately quiet - ours faced inward to a ventilation shaft so no view but fairly quiet. But outside on the street was bedlam - constant beggars and people playing music terribly (including a man playing a leaf with ear-splitting results) made it one of the less enjoyable places to dine on the street - and I’ve lived happily in Mexico for 4 years. However there were a few fabulous musicians among the hacks. Our rooms were fine despite the view to the ventilation shaft, with large modern bathroom and comfortable beds. The provided fans made the temperature comfortable despite the heat outside.

The location was ideal. No buffer breakfast available but excellent to order even if slightly on the expensive side. The hotel offers a safe facility at the reception area which is the best way to store valuables as there I see no safe box in the room. The staff were very informative and efficient in helping to organise tours.
The area outside the hotel was very busy as there were fiestas combined with demonstrations going on. Also a constant stream of buskers and beggars when eating outside so to avoid being pestered it is better to eat in the hotel.

Central location on the main square in Morelia. most rooms are in the ‘modern’ rear of the hotel. there are a few in the small front old section which are the best, high ceilings and large windows. Most of the other rooms look into the central courtyard or small light wells looking at brick walls. The restaurant downstairs is excellent. amazing food and friendly service, some of the best food I had in Morelia.
There is building work on some of the rear rooms, my room was above this and it was very noisy during the day with hammering and drilling. I was asked to be moved to a quiet part of the hotel which I eventually was…. although there is no quiet part of this hotel. being in central Morelia on the main Sqaure is beautiful, but you pay for with noise. the steeet, the restaurant downstairs, moving tables at 7am across the stone floor, the church bells which luckily don’t ring all night, but they do start at 4am! After 3 nights I was happy to check out and head to a quieter hotel.

The location is perfectly centered in the square of Morelia! The building is a beautiful historic home with clean, spacious rooms and a lovely friendly staff. There are so many options for food and great night time walking in the square. Favorite restaurant was La Conspiracion de 1809.
It's a city vibe so there will be late night noise. Nothing they can control, if it will bother you, make sure to ask for an interior room farthest from the main street.

Staff was amazing. From the cleaning crew to management. Everything was extremely clean and in the best location possible. City felt very safe, (contrary to what people say) even at 3 in the morning while returning from festivities. Would definitely stay again.
No a/c and elevator was out of order and water was shut off one day from 10am to 6pm. Nothing big enough to stop me from staying here again though.

What a lovely hotel in the heart of central Morelia. Our rooms were lovely, clean and next door to each other. We were on the first floor and easily accessible by elevator or stairs. The restaurant was really great and we were told it is one of the best in the city for local food. The hot chocolate and lava cake were great!
I was dissapointed that my room, 126, had absolutely no internet. My Mexican cell phone coverage was also not available in that room. My friends in room 125 also had limited internet. The lobby and restaurant internet connection was very good, just not in our rooms.

Hotel is located near central square of Morelia. The hotel staff is very friendly. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality. Be careful if you choose room with "interior view". "Interior view" means small window in the inner well 1x1 meter between your and nextdoor rooms.
Room is very noisy due to external air conditions. But this did not spoil my impression of the hotel.

Hotel was very clean, it does get a little muggy in the room because there isn't really a lot of windows or circulation. There is a fan, but it does the best it can. Staff was amazing in trying to accommodate us in getting earlier than expected. Gym is not even a gym so don't even visit it. Very central to everything. So you can walk to pretty much anywhere its close to get food or see things, clubs, restaurants, museums, music, central park, catholic church, etc...
There wasn't anything I didn't like. The family had a great experience.

I LOVED the location. the view was spectacular and close to everything I wanted to visit in the centro histórico. I also loved the Juliet balcony.
the noise off the street. But that’s the trade off for being at a centralized location. I will add tho, that the Juliet balcony had some pretty good sound resistance from the street below, and the close the restaurant downstairs earlier enough so that you don’t have as much noise.
