Room was nice, not cramped at all but not too big either. Staff were all friendly and helpful. They offered to order me a COVID test to have a lab personnel come directly to the hotel, although I don’t recommend this option because it is 6x more expensive than a pharmacy test. But the option is still nice. They also ordered me a taxi to the bus terminal, and the price was fair for that. The breakfast/restaurant is just from the restaurant next door, but supposedly it could be ordered as room service directly to the room, which may be nice. The location is PERFECT.

Our room was on ground floor opening onto dining area but still quiet. The bathroom was very small without much space to put your things; a shelf and hooks would be helpful. We had 2 comfortable queen beds and good linens. Location is excellent to walk to centro and there are restaurants right out front. We would stay again.

The hotel is very centrally located, in the middle of downtown. The beds were comfortable, and the hotel is great value overal I'd say.

Just 2 minor gripes: The door lock sometimes would not engage when leaving the room. The room I was in not very well sound isolated: you could hear the neighbouring rooms showering, and the people above walking/moving furniture. One could also hear everything happening in the courtyard below through the door.

The location was perfect as it was walking distance from the town square and rooms were clean.

I did not get the room I booked. I booked a junior suite and I got a regular room. The next day they offered and gave me a bigger room, but it was still not the room I booked. They Wi-Fi half the time didn’t work 😕

Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. They were very accomodating and several spoke English

Construction noise going on daily and started very early morning so kept travelers awake. A drunk smashed a bottle in front of one of our doors, making loud noises dragging luggage downstairs at 2am. Desk did nothing about it.

Perfect location on a pedestrian alleyway with restaurants and bars right next door. Super quiet at night. Rooms are spacious for the price. Plenty of hot water pressure. Beds are firm with nice linens and pillows. Staff is customer service oriented. Breakfast next door is huge, you can share one dish for two people.

Nothing- if you have mobility issues ask for a first floor room as no elevator.

The location was perfect. The hotel was in the historic part of Queretaro. There was a nice pedestrian street with many restaurants. All of which had outdoor seating. The hotel also had its own restaurant. The food was delicious and inexpensive. Try the cafe de olla if you like cinnamon. Yum yum. The staff was very nice. The beds were super comfy. There were several churches, plazas, artisan markets, and retail shops in the area within walking distance. Felt very safe walking about at night.

I loved everything about this hotel. Nothing to complain about.

The meals there in general are GREAT! I have been staying at this hotel for several years. All I can say, I love it. Location is wonderful. Everything is walking distance and neighborhood is SAFE. Food is amazing! Accommodations very clean. Staff very friendly. Prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Hotel Rio!👌😀

It was centrally located in the city close to all the restaurants and tourist attractions, yet it was surprisingly quiet for overnight street noises.

The restaurant for inside dining was in the center of the hotel which made the noise level travel up to the hotel rooms during that time.

Great locations, nice staff who gave us amazing food recommendations.

The room was not quite like the pictures, way smaller but it wasn’t a problem as the room was still clean and comfortable for the price with an amazing location. Hotel told it is Booking that is not advertising it right..
