great location. Very close to bars, restaurants and the beach. The rooftop pool and bar were cool as well. My room was modern and big enough for the purpose of my trip (which was exploring the Mexican Caribbean rather than relaxing at a hotel). The breakfast was good and staff at the restaurant and bar were super friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly, they gave me a feeling like they wanted to interact/help as little as possible, I had to ask for everything myself (even which number my room was as the key card didn’t say) but I’d still come back. Reg. the rooftop party noise mentioned in other reviews: I’d asked for a quiet room and could still here the music a little bit in the evenings but then again this is Playa del Carmen, and in all hotels I’ve stayed at so far I could here a bit of what was going on outside so it wasn’t a big deal for me. I slept just fine.

The staff and facilities were outstanding.

This is a great location, but some small details are not well done. my room would sometimes have two new bottles of water a day, and then a couple days there was none. Also no replacement of used shampoo bottles. The room key did not work on arrival, move to a numerical key, but no one ever followed up and gave me a working key despite a long stay. So the place is drifting on details.

Great location. The ambient is well decorated and the room was felt really high quality. The roof-top pool and bar/restaurant was also very nice. They partnered up with a beach club (Martina), offering this high quality service for free for all guests (very unexpected). Garage was available at all times. The staff was very polite and ready to help (special thanks to the breakfast team and Jiovanni, the night shift receptionist)

The toilet door had no lock/handles (not missing, simply not added by design), making it impossible to properly close. The room sound insulation could be a bit better (not a major issue) and the courtains could have a tighter seal, to avoid outside light (again, not a major issue).

Everything ... the staff was so amazing, and by staff i mean every single one ... everyone is welcoming with a nice smile... the room was always clean and spacious ... location is an extra bonus , in the middle of 5th avenue while still having the calm and quite vibe....we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go again

Very few minor things ... coffee capsuls wasn't that good, but that's usually an extra thing Sometimes room cleaning just enters the room directly even if u put the don't disturb sign Nothing more really

Location is good, quiet and connected to the central 5th avenue in less than a block. The staff is well trained and useful. We had a problem of noise due to the poor location of the ac battery, but the next day they promptly gave us a solution.

The bathroom is big but the shower is really small in comparison to the size. Vibration of the ac battery just behind the bed header... Hopefully that was just our bedroom (104)

- The staff was helpful and friendly. They lend you free towels every day, that you can bring to any activity. - The location is absolutely perfect. It is on walking distance from all the nice things of Playa del Carmen, like the 5th Avenue, restaurants and bars, the beach etc. But it is also far enough away from the noise and the buzz of 5th avenue to have a proper night sleep. - The bed was nice and the air conditioning actually works perfect, so the nights are pleasant. - The room has a Nespresso traditional coffee machine, (not the American crap, but the real one ;) ) - so if you stay here bring some cups as the hotel only provides complementary coffee for the first night.

- There is a smell from the sewer (bearable, but still you'd rather not smell that). - The rooftop swimming pool is a bit of a disappointment as there is no real place to chill. - Free access to near beach club (Marina). Not really our thing as all the beds are squeezed together and hardly any availability.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was big, was located at the corner of the hotel and had a big balcony. The beds had a good size and were comfortable. Free parking in the secure underground garage. Free access to the lovely beach club Martina.

Due to the humidity, all the faucets and mirrors in the bathroom looked dirty. The restaurant downstairs was so warm, we couldn't enjoy our nice breakfast.

my room was great! love the breakfast/restaurant in the mornings. awesome! my room was very nice and clean. and the location was great! I liked the restaurant upstairs too but would like more on the menu

couldn’t watch TV because you had to subscribe and pay for everything. terrible
