I are at the restaurant on the first night, it was terrible (not what the menu said was accompanying) and the steak was inedible ,,,the server never asked what was wrong when I ate hardly any of it. I didn’t go back, could be other items or daytime was better, wouldn’t know. The staff in the hotel were just wonderful made me feel at home and helped with all my requests.

The last night it was noisy after ll:30 pm …I had to call the front desk after trying to get the noisemakers attention without success, within 1/2 hour it was quieted down. Can’t say I didn’t like anything else.

The location is amazing and the rooms were very comfortable! The shower is great, it has strong pressure and the water was hot throughout the showers. The staff is also very kind and attentive (: Even with everything we didn't like, the stay was very nice.

There were a few details we definitely didn't love. The jacuzzi on the top floor is tiny and it doesn't work. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. Talking about the bathroom, you can hear everything going on in the bathroom above yours, so that was awkward. Last but definitely not least, the hotel's food was meh and expensive, they didn't have a buffet in the mornings or anything, so we ended up eating out every day.

The hotel is located on the far northern end of Paseo Montejo, which is a very nice tree-lined street, very safe both day and night. The room did have a small refrigerator which was nice. The hotel is clean and basic. Room was small, but clean and comfortable. The small restaurant in the lobby was convenient and inexpensive. The staff was very friendly. They could improve the menu and quality of food, and even raise the prices to provide better food. The hotel has a nice rooftop terrace on the top floor. It is about a 30 minute walk to the older part of town by the main cathedral square. The rooms have an a/c unit, but they also have a window that opens for fresh air so that was nice. Housekeeping always did a good job.

Everything was basic but clean. The hallways are huge and are a tile floor, so because of this you can hear every door slam shut or people rolling their suitcases down the hallway. The towels could be newer.

We traveled with our 2 year old baby. we really enjoy the location- a 25 min walk from the center in a more relax area still with lots of places to visit / restaurants etc. We love the authenticity of the hotel with great value for money

All was great. Only we found the room a bit small for 2 adults + baby bed. Still if you are planning a sight seeing trip that won't be a big problem

Restaurant closes at 17:00 on Sundays. This was compounded by a notice in the lift (on which we relied) that stated it was open until 22:00. Not the end of the world, as there are other eating options within walking distance, but after a long hot day of walking we were disappointed to find that we had to head out again when we had been looking forward to a relaxing meal in the hotel.

Nice facilities and the location is very good. Only with a short walk you are right to the city center but also the area around the hotel is nice and you can find nice places. Rooms are well maintained and the staff is very helpful.

The pool/jacuzzi area needs good maintenance. You should not expect a 5star hotel but rather a good 4star facility.

The hotel is charming, the staff attentive and overall good value for money.

The location: it is 20min walk from the centre, albeit it is on the most beautiful street in Merida. We didn't realise when booking that it is so far from the centre. However there is a lot to see on that street too, so it might be perfect for other people.

I like the proximity to everything, the refrigerator came very convenient, the coffee msker and supplies daily to have fresh coffee, I really enjoyed the stay.

Location was fantastic, and the staff were very professional, polite, and accommodating.

Some of the (drunk) guests were VERY noisy in the hallway. This is, of course NOT the fault of the hotel, and we have to bear in mind that it was a holiday weekend.

Cleanliness. Room was tidy. Best is the location, although very high traffic

Room has cables here and there. I don’t think they see them but I am not used to them. No big deal. Bigger deal is their towels. Hard on the skin. Perhaps a bit too old? Harsh and graying. Food at the restaurant could be prepared with more care. My eggs had stuck to the pan and it showed and tasted like so. If that was a mistake, they should have remade them. Edible but ugly.
