The room was very modern and comfortable. Bathroom was a decent size with a very good shower. Despite the room overlooking the street it was very quiet. Breakfast was OK.

The first word from the receptionist was “Passport”. How about trying “Bine ai venit/Welcome” and smiling? Dinner in the restaurant was OK but rather stodgy. There were only two desserts available - type A cheesecake or type B cheesecake.

This is a cute, well-located hotel within walking distance of the city center; several parks, shops, and restaurants are around. The room was spacious and had a stable wifi connection that I needed for work. I liked the breakfast options; you have options for people who like sweet or savory breakfast, and the coffee is decent. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I had two beds moved together and not a double bed - I am not sure if they have double beds as an option, but it was not too comfortable. There was no tea kettle in the room, which is something I am used to. Finally, the sound isolation is not too good. I could hear my neighbors speaking quite often and also people walking on the upper floor made lots of noise - if you are a sensitive sleeper, you may want to consider this.

Regency Hotel is a lovely hotel in Chisinău and, overall, we enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is well situated, close to the city centre, and nearby local parks, shops, etc. The room, and our entire floor, had recently been renovated - we appreciated the sophisticated aesthetic and found the space to be clean, comfortable and calming. The breakfast, included in our stay, was simple yet tasty, with a decent variety of breakfast items, including hot and cold food. The staff were friendly, and happy to help, even when we checked in in the early hours of the morning. I would certainly recommend Regency Hotel if you’re looking for a functional, classic and modern hotel in Moldova’s capital city.

The fitness room is tiny, with a treadmill that doesn’t seem to be working properly, although this is a small complaint against an otherwise decent hotel.

Good breakfast, wide variety of food. Very good location, Dendrariu Park and Valea Morilor Park very close, Cathedral and Opera Theatre just 10-minutes walk away. Very clean and nice hotel, comfortable bed and helpful staff. Hotel has a good restaurant, wonderful Italian restaurant, Sushi house and grocery shop are just some steps away.

You can hear noise form other rooms quite well - if there is someone talking loudly in neighbor room, you already hear that...

Basically, I loved everything. The hotel itself is not very big, but it has everything you need (at least for a 3-day stay). The room was newly renovated and looked just perfect. Breakfast was nice. Staff were awesome. The location is great too-coffee shop, grocery store, pharmacy, everything is 1 minute away from the hotel. It will take you about 10 minutes to go to the city centre. And your way will lie through 2 parks.

Its a good clean hotel with good staff who speak English. There is an elevator which is not always the case in Chisinau. Breakfast was good. WIFI was very good with no outages. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep as well.

Steps at the from could cause an access problem. Shame the main bar and restaurant were closed, as they were back in November, but there is plenty nearby.

My bag was lost on the way back to Ukraine where I work. The airlines won't deliver to Ukraine, so I waited for four days (it never arrived). Staff allowed me to stay past reservation days and even upgraded my room when hotel filled up. Have stayed here many times when traveling to and from Ukraine. Always my first choice. Location is great!!

Elevator erratic. Always stopped at 4th floor for no reason. Restaurant for evening meal has rather skeletal selections. Hotel difficult to access by car. Very congested street with NO HOTEL PARKING! On-street parking available about 5 minutes' walk away. Proved safe but knock on wood, and space not guaranteed.

Quite good location, easy walking distance to the center, restaurants and coffee places. Clean and comfy room, I slept very good here. Breakfast was good. English-speaking reception staff. Good value compared to the general price level in Chisinau.

There was a little administrative issue to fix that took quite a while, but in the end, all was good.

Late breakfast at weekend. Close to the city center. Towels changed every day. Air conditioning.

Pretty expensive. No parking places (just 4 places in front of the hotel). A slight smell of mould in the room. We received toiletry just on the arrival day (one small bottle each).
