Everything was fantastic. The staff were exceptionally helpful. The hotel was clean, efficient and very comfortable. The lounge on the top floor served delicious food and gas fantastic views of the city. The location is perfect and has everything you would need. They even offered me a free room upgrade. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again.

The only thing that was a bit annoying is the lack of plug sockets in the rooms. I had to charge my phone overnight in the joining room (my room upgrade gave me 2 rooms) so I was worried I wouldn’t hear my alarm in the morning!

Staff were generally very friendly and efficient, especially reception and porters, but see note on breakfast room staff. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Great beds. Loved the under floor heating in the bathroom.

Breakfast was generally very good but I have some suggestions for improvement. - staff did not pay attention to food running out so I often had to ask for replenishment, especially if I came to breakfast later. - some food types ran out completely but no-one notice this in advance and ordered more (certain cereal) - often there would be no staff in the breakfast room - everyone had gone to the kitchen - suggest they ensure there is always one person available Coffee was undrinkable :( Generally the bedroom was too warm and I could not cool it with the AC. Trying to use the spa services was frustrating as I do not speak Mongolian and few staff members had sufficient English to properly explain or deliver dervices.

Tuushinhotel had everything we wanted as travelers from USA arriving in Ulaanbaatar for the first time. The Le Cabaret restaurant close to the lobby was an excellent choice for dinner or lunch with reasonable prices. We had come from a short visit in Europe and needed a central location to do laundry, buy supplies and prepare for our 6 week visit of Mongolia. Tuushinhotel offered us all the comforts we needed to start our explorations.

It’s in a fabulous location and a well managed hotel. We have no complaints.

I booked the Tuushin last minute due to a change in plans and got a good deal on the rate. I only needed to stay one night for business, but the location is great, the room was spacious, and the wifi worked well. I want to especially compliment Mr. Davaatseren at the front desk for his friendliness and great customer service. One important note, if you refer to the hotel as the Best Western, people won't know what it is and will look at you confused. The locals call it the Tuushin.

The rooms were a good size and of an expected standard. Breakfast was a decent buffet with Western and Asian options. The location is great, just off Sukhbaatar Square. Many options for shopping, dining and culture close by. There is a very convenient ATM just off the lobby.

Various items at breakfast (including cutlery and crockery) ran out periodically because it could get very crowded with large groups. The staff could have been more proactive in this regard.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre and it is convenient to reach to different places of interest. The staff is very kind and helpful. The ATM at the hotel was the only one where I didn't have trouble to use my credit cards. The room was a bit worn out, but otherwise it was very spacious and convenient. There is a kettle but no complementary coffee or tea bags. The minibar was empty. There is a nice restaurant nearby, Modern Nomads, where one can have meals.

This is a great place to stay in UB. Staff are excellent (shout-out to the front desk team who were always cheerful and friendly - hi Davaatseren), breakfast is great and room comfortable.

Only two small things - the heating is too hot in winter with no ability to turn it down/off and the air-con (seems crazy to need air-con in winter) isn't powerful enough to overcome this. The bed is also, by western standards, quite hard.

nice view from 20th floor , breakfast is good with variety of vegetables and fruits , 2 bottles of water changes every day .

some road nearby was under construction and I was surprised that they allowed to work on night time ! it was not pleasant to listen the drilling sounds my whole stay (1 week). also gym is in very bad conditions- old devices and cold temp in room .

nice location breakfast was good service was good in room dining was very good money worthy I can go again just adjacent pizza hut, kfc and gobi cashmere mall which is very good good and convenient walking distance from the square

some of them don't understand English which was a challenge we have to face everyday we had to ask few times for water though we wanted to pay

The one staff whose name I do not know was amazing. We had an issue with our room and he fixed it immediately. Thanks to him our stay was incredible.

We had to carry our luggage up to our rooms ourselves. This I did not expect from a 5 star hotel. Staff who were not at the reception spoke little English, unfortunately but were very nice.
