Hotel Molino Garden is absolutely beautiful. With its authentic Moroccan vibe, colour and quirk, Molino is a jewel, perfectly placed in the heart of the breathtakingly blue Old City of Chefchaouen. Conveniently located to simply step out into the city to explore. Overlooking the garden, my charming room was a haven, from which I could hear the early morning ‘call to prayer’ echoing from the many mosques throughout the city. Beautifully maintained and clean with lovely staff that peacefully worked to keep it so. The breakfast out in the garden freshly made and sourced from local suppliers - a great start to the day. My trip to Chefchaouen would not have been nearly as wonderful if it wasn’t for Yassin, who works tirelessly to ensure guests are looked after. I feel that all of the staff were great at doing so, but for me Yassin seemed to go above and beyond. Born in the blue city he is a true local. During his time off he became my guide. He went to such effort to make me feel welcome and proudly showed me through his beautiful hometown. Taking me down to the weekly locals’ food market where we sat on crates whilst eating delicious fish and potato in bread with the locals. Taking the hard work out of it for me, he organised a driver and we went to The God’s Bridge to hike and swim in the waterfalls - a must! As a solo traveller, I am never in my photos. Yassin discretely took great photos and videos of all that we did. I now have beautiful memories of me actually being in all the beautiful places we went to! Being introduced to Yassin’s family made my time extra special with his lovely mother cooking and teaching me the Moroccan way around the kitchen. I cannot recommend a stay at Hotel Molino Garden enough. My stay was for three nights but I extended to four as I found it difficult to leave. A great little place with amzing staff like Yassin, who show true Moroccan warmth, kindness and great hospitality. Thank you! x

Amazing location, amazing stuff, really good breakfast, small cute but very comfortable and interesting room

The walk from the car to the hotel with a lot of luggage since we got a family was a Difficult climb. But the staff helped us without any anticipation of tips

It was our first time in the magical Chefchaouene, and we couldn't have been happier. Hotel Molino Garden was a dream to stay in. Being right at the edge of the Medina, it was super convenient to bring our luggage to the hotel on the stairs up. The place was equally relaxing and stunning accompanied with a gorgeous garden. We felt so comfortable that we often didn't want to leave for a walk outside. Yassin and his team were utmost helpful with all matters inside the hotel, as well as advising on sightseeing within Chefchaouene. We ended up extending our trip from 3 days to 5. We're already looking forward to going back as it has to be one of the most beautiful and soul-affirming places on earth.

This is a very charming and well run little guesthouse in the Medina of Chefchouan. We had the room at the top of the building and it was very cute and comfortable. The beds were cosy, the rooms and bathrooms were super clean and the breakfast was made fresh whenever we got up before 11 am and was delicious. The garden area was really delightful too. Close to the Medina shops and restaurants, a few minutes walk, but in a quiet little area near the waterfall.

We were fine but as with most hotels and guesthouses and indeed Medinas in Morocco there are lots of steep steps so not recommended for those with mobility problems.

We loved the authenticity of this place and the fact we didn’t have too many stairs to lug suitcases up. Our room had two levels- a cute bathroom and a fan if we needed it. Staff assisted us with our luggage too and from the taxi pick up and drop off area which was just at bottom of stairs. Beautiful garden to wander in and nice terrasse to sit for breakfast. Very friendly helpful staff. Would recommend this place!

We ordered and paid for breakfast (optional at 45 MAD each)which was basically bread based and quite expensive for what it was.Even some fresh fruit would have been a welcome addition.

This was truly the most magical place to stay, looking out on the garden and two fishponds, it was such a welcome green oasis in Morocco. Yassin was an incredible host, he was so welcoming and friendly, showing us around inside and outside, there are so many lovely little places to sit. He was attentive and helpful and the last morning helped us get a taxi to go to the waterfalls and bridge in Akchour which l can't recommend high enough for me the best day l have had in Morocco, thankyou Yassin for telling me about it! The rooms are lovely, the shower in the bathroom is great, so was the light! The beds comfortable, aircon that works all set in a very quiet street just minutes from the main part of the medina. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

Great location on the eastern edge of the medina, very quiet and in close proximity to everything. Parking is right underneath the hotel and cost 20 dh. They have a beautiful garden and amazing mountain views from the terrace. If you are traveling in the summer, book a room with air conditioner.

Bedsheets need an upgrade, ours were very old with the holes. The 45 dh breakfast was very minimal, my advice to the owner: don't be so stingy, it doesn't cost much to add one extra egg to an omelet (mine was made of only one egg).

Magic place with authentic atmosphere. The garden is a hidden treasure and the breakfast a must have. Still my favourite part was the kindness of the host.

Nothing.
