Excellent location, just right outside of the medina accessible by cab (about 20 - 30 MAD from the bus station; 10 min. away). The medina is just a short walk away. Don't underestimate the distance and step incline that you'll have to climb if the Riad is deep in the medina. There are two quick marts right across the street to get drinks and snacks. Our host, Nour, speaks excellent English and is very helpful. Room is basic, but clean and comfortable. Hotel has a nice roof top view. Breakfast is good. I'd stay again at Hotel Alkhalifa.

We traveled with friends and booked two double rooms. Rooms are basic and clean. The view from the roof terrace over the blue city is stunning. We were welcomed with Moroccan tea on the terrace when we arrived. It’s the perfect place to stay if you arriving by car as the parking garage is one minute walk away and costs 60 dhs per 24hrs. The entrance to the old town is across the road and down some stairs. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was the typical Moroccan style with a good coffee. We all enjoyed our stay and especially enjoyed discovering alley ways of The Blue city. Take a walk up to the Mosque on the hill. Beautiful views from there.

The rooms have no fridge , no kettle and no hair dryer however you can ask for one at reception. They also had no problem making you tea or hot water when needed so not really a problem. There is a small shop across the road that sold cold drinks and water. Would stay here again

The location is great, it has a balcony that overlooks the city and you can watch the sunset. Definitely not 9.7 rating in terms of room. Great views but the beds were not very comfortable and the shampoo and soap is limited. You need to ask for the remote of AC. There is a near by parking that you can park your car ( paid additional)which was great.

We were greeted by a very nice host that changed with another that was not helpful at all. We asked him if we can have coffee at 8:15 and we were told that the espresso machine is not working and we need to wait until 8:30. We decided to have breakfast out of the hotel so we can enjoy early morning coffee Hotel Triana was near by and was great service and location

Situated at the heart of Chefchaouen's medina, the hotel enjoys a prime location just a brief stroll away from the main square. It offers proximity to numerous city landmarks, including the Kasbah Museum, the Mosque, and a 3-minute walk from Ras el-Ma waterfall. This central positioning makes it an incredibly convenient choice for accommodation, granting guests easy access to all major attractions. Breakfast, provided as a complimentary offering to all guests, is a delightful experience. It features a diverse range of options, including Moroccan specialties and cheese omelettes. The hotel boasts breathtaking views of Chefchaouen's medina and the encircling mountains. Whether you choose to relax on the terrace or within your room, you'll be treated to this captivating panorama. It's a serene and tranquil place to unwind and soak in the surroundings.

What a fantastic place! The owner made us feel very at home and allowed us to park our motorbikes in his private driveway. Hotel is a short (hilly) walk down into the main town and a long (hilly) walk back! The room was more than adequate and comfortable and quiet. The owner told us of places to visit and was very informative. They run yoga and medication type classes as well. Breakfast was brilliant and more than adequate. We wanted to leave a tip but the owner asked us to donate it to his cat charity instead, which we also topped up with some shop bought cat food from across the road! Fear not, we didn't see any cats in the hotel.

Nothing. We really liked this hotel.

This Hotel is great! A perfect place to stay and explore the blue city of Chefchaouen. It's located outside of the Medina, but really close to the entrance and just a 5 to 10 min walk from the center. There's a nice car park just 150m from the hotel and that's really good (believe me, you don't want to carry your luggage through that blue maze of streets). The rooms are very comfortable and fully equipped, with a private shower and WC. Fast internet available (a router in every floor) and a excellent breakfast included. The staff is great, gave us lots of useful tips about the city, places to see and things to do. Don't forget to check the terrace during sunset - incredible!

The bed mattress was really hard (as in all the Riads and Hotels I've been in Morocco... guess it's a trend there)

this is my 3rd visit to chefchaoue and i have always chosen the wrong guest house/riad, however this one is the best. I chose this hotel after reading the comments and the notes, and I was not disappointed. 1- the location of the hotel: the best location if you dont want to struggle with parking your car (parking is less than a minute walk and between 20 dh and 30dh for 24 hours) and not be lost in the alleyways of the mdeina with your luggage. the hotel is 5min walk from the place RAS EL MAA WATERFALL and then you find yourself in the beautiful alleyways of the blue perl the location: 10/10 3- the room: we opted for a quadriple room, it was super clean, very bright, conformtable, with air conditioning and a magnificent view. the hotel also has a panoramic terrace where you can be served a glass of tea to enjoy the sunset (offered by the hotel) room : 10/10 - breakfast: typical purely Moroccan all family members loved it 4- the service: I can't express how kind and hospitable Mr Nourddine is, he always asks if we need anything if everything is OK for us, he even offered us a souvenir on our departure. service : 10/10 it was a really wonderful stay

Nothing to report

The location is great, bordering the medina without being inside it. It’s quiet at night and very comfortable. It offers free secure parking for motorcycles inside the property, and there is a public underground parking for cars right in front of the property. To any biker reading this: if you want to visit Chefchaouen or use it as a base for exploring, this is the place for you. Also, the owners are very attentive and helpful.

The breakfast could be a bit more varied maybe?

The breakfast was amazing - really delicious! We weren't able to take advantage of the various program / class / group offerings but really wished we could have to meet more people. We liked how we could get dropped off directly in front of the hotel and not have to walk up any stairs or through a long winding path to get there. The rooms were simple and still had everything we needed. The staff was really helpful and welcoming, giving us ideas and advice on a number of questions we tourists had.
