Very good breakfast; and overall very good hotel

This is not minus 'per se' - but in this riad, and this is for many locations / riads in Morocco - rooms are not really sound-proof, there is only thin window separating room from the common area, so one can hear other guests. It wasn't a problem for us, but maybe somone with more sensitive sleep will find this info useful.

The room is just like the pictures except older and more lived in. For example, there were cracks in the leather and faded paints, but other than that it’s just as pictured. Everything was clean. The host is very nice and helpful. The room was big, but the bathroom was even bigger. Huge shower. It’s a five minute walk from the Supratours bus station, so very convenient, though it’s in one of the windiest parts of the Medina, it’s also one of the quietest.

The staff who served us - Siham, Souad and Mohamed - were amazing. The location was excellent - it is within the Medina so very close to where everything happens and it is next to the small gate entrance to Medina so very easy for taxis. The room itself has good facilities - a comfortable bed and we had a cute terrace. The breakfast is lovely. Above all the price you pay is very much worth it.

At times the room smelt of smoke. I do not know the reason for this and I do not know if this applies to all rooms

The location of the riad is ideal, it is beautifully designed, blending traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comforts. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. They were always available to provide recommendations for local attractions, arrange activities, or simply share stories about the rich culture of Essaouira. Their kindness and attention to detail truly made our stay special. I highly recommend this riad to anyone visiting Essaouira. We stayed only one night and we can say Mohamed and the staff were all more than just guest friendly, there was nothing we asked that wasn’t possible he direct us in wich places to visit in the Medina, casually met him in the city evenings and helped us search for jewels, there is nothing this riad can’t make possible! If you are looking for a nice place to stay in the Medina and near all the stores you will be more than satisfied in booking this hotel. The breakfast was great a lot of diversity and typical food. extras like luggage storage weren’t a problem. See you next year and thank you again!

Everything. The room the breakfast the staff the attention to detail the location quiet and yet seconds away from the Medina. Absolutely perfection. Also near a tourist hammam. The breakfast was very detailed with yogurt breads fruit salad jams butter cheese eggs coffee tea fresh orange juice etc. The staff always had a smile, always kept the rooms clean and were available to answer any questions.

Nothing. Was very happy here during my stay. Tons of local eateries nearby and still very quiet and accessible to the beach and rest of essoirrua

Great helpful staff, Rachid and another lady were very nice. Very quiet, with relax music in the ground floor. Lovely breakfast. Location at the edge of the medina. Overall a good budget choice for 29E in may '23.

The room was on the rooftop, 3 floors up! 😅 room was clean but the small terrace was not usable: dirty, dust from paint and building works... I actually watered the poor plants myself 😂 they had been used as ashtray by previous guests, a disgrace. Some other details in the room, traces of mould behind the ceiling panels, but nothing major.

Absolute little gem of a place to stay-far exceeded my expectations in comfort and facilties in the rooms, and the traditiaon decor was amazing. Didn't eat breakfast, so cant comment but the breakfast area looked clean and inviting. Great value for money, and Mohammed (with the hair!) was very welcoming.

Slight con of it being a little noisy at night, owing to noise from the street outside, but not enough to disturb the sleep of 3/4 of us!

Lovely Riad, where I would definitely stay again we were greeted by Rachid who even arranged for some of our clothes to be washed as toiletries had leaked during travel and they were delivered back to the Riad the following day in immaculate condition. Breakfast was huge and fantastic Room very clean and comfortable Beautiful small terrace with a bistro table and egg chairs attached to our room and Wi-Fi was good even ok the top floor. Couldn’t fault anything ❤️

Brilliant location on the edge of the medina, super easy to access from the streets but close to any shops/the center of the Medina as well. Rachid let us check in early which was great after an early morning flight. Breakfast was delicious, and we were even offered an early breakfast on the day we left early for a day trip to Marrakech. Spacious room and very clean! Nothing to complain.
