Everything about this property is amazing. The location is extraordinarily convenient. This is not a glitzy and modern tourist resort hotel. It is a step back to an age of gentility and civility. And my experience for Christmas Eve dinner, and the attention the chef gave me making some changes to the prix fixe meal, render this a memorable meal.

It is an older property so using the electrical outlets require some creativity lol. But who cares, this place is just very special

Excellent service and beautiful facilities. The courtyard / breakfast area is lovely. The departure gift of water and cookies was a particular nice touch. Can’t thank the staff enough. They go above and beyond. Bed was extremely comfortable. Would 100% recommend or stay again

Aircon didn’t seem to cool room so the night was quite hot. Luckily the weather was cooler, if it was any warmer I think it could have been quite hot in the bedroom. Bathroom needs second hook for second person‘s towel. But didn’t ruin our lovely stay!

Missing a bit of soul and warm atmosphere. and a detail: the taxi prices from the hotel are 3 times more expensive then what you find online - don’t know why they do this, because just gives you the extra work to book it yourself. we had a very big expectation about this hotel, and for less money, we have been to much more interesting spots around Morocco.

The breakfast was excellent, mainly buffet style with a varied menu that included everything from savoury vegetable cakes, delicious omelettes, fresh figs and poached pears in syrup.... all freshly prepared, delicious! The roof top area is calm and beautiful, plants abound and there is a large pool and shady places to have a drink or light lunch. The colonial style decor is very tasteful with lots of dark wood fittings ad chic beige and brown colour schemes. Our bathroom was fabulous. This is a beautiful hotel with impeccable service and standards we would highly recommend it! Thank you for a wonderful stay and the free upgrade to a marvellous suite.

Everything was perfect

We were upgraded to a corner room , which was very comfortable and had a sitting area. Breakfast was a beautiful buffet, with lot de of choice for everyone. The pool and roof terrace was great. Staff was really nice and helpful. Location on the edge of te medina ideal, especially if you need to park your car. They have 7 spaces that are roped off to park.

It being November, the courtyard where breakfast was, was chilly in the morning. The bar didn’t have any atmosphere.

An incredible stay in Essaouira! Everything was amazing about the hotel. It's a beautifully remodeled historical building right inside the Medina. The roof, pool, and lobby were all gorgeous and so welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. The room was a great size so comfortable. The staff was really the best! They all went above and beyond to make sure our stay was so memorable and perfect. We would recommend to anyone visiting!

The facilities were beautiful but had a bit of wear and tear.

The location is perfect: free parking outside the Old Town wall, and the Medina is right around your feet. Could not be more convenient . Then there is the building itself and its appointments ... yesteryear splendor! Let's not forget the staff... these are people who "get" service with a personal touch. Can't praise them enough.

Throughout Morocco, hotels did not have any cooling turned on (this was Feb). I get that they *expect* us to be cold, it not everyone can sleep in a hot room. This is a critique of the entire industry, not just Heure Bleue. We slept with all windows and doors wide open.

classic old school elegance. beautiful hotel with incredible staff who can’t do enough for you. The older porter in particular was the loveliest man. we had a problem with an aircon leak at night and were immediately moved into a new upgraded room. Roof top was brilliant with very comfortable sun loungers. breakfast had a great choice. Courtyard a lovely area to relax.

The hotel is a little old and rooms haven’t been refurbished for a while but don’t let that put you off it’s a trip back to old school hotel charm.

Very friendly people who do a very good job to serve you as a customer. Good breakfast included which holds a variety of food and bevereages.

Privacy in a colonial tyle hosue like this isnt the same as in an anonymous modern hotel complex, fien with me but maybe for some people not what they would epxect.

Wonderful facility, combining the authenticity of riad architecture and the comfort of modern hotels. Excellent service, very friendly and professional staff, excellent service. The location in the Medina is awesome, rhe swimmingpool is clean, big and moderately heated. We loved it, and we will definitely come back.
