Superb location. Laid back. The staff are strictly background so there’s no fuss, which was perfect for us. Beautiful suite cleaned immaculately each day.

There were a lot of flies around when dining. Other riads/restaurants use insect repellent coils to keep them at bay. Might have helped here. Breakfast flattered to deceive. Plenty of food, but if you want eggs the only option is omelette. Went out for breakfast after the third day because we’d only asked for toast, orange juice and coffee and the toast was just stale bread. We asked for it to be swapped on were served fresh, slightly warmed bread. See pics.

Actually, I didn't expect to have such a good hotel (especially after my previous experience in Morocco) and in such a great location. Everything you need in Marrakech can be reached quickly and easily, all the most important attractions are actually close by. But most importantly, the riad provided peace and quiet, which is very important in a city like Marrakech. And the other good thing that cannot be overlooked is that the air quality was good. Unlike the streets of the medina of Marrakech, where there is sometimes nowhere to escape from the smell of gasoline. And then our hotel riad was a real salvation. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, everything is easily accessible, and the staff is responsive. Because - I can definitely recommend this hotel to those who want to actually live in the medina, but at the same time enjoy the peace and quiet of the riad's courtyard.

Location is perfect for most activities in Marrakesh The staff are amazing and very hospitable, especially Raja, the front desk lady, pleasant, cooperative and answered all our questions. The housekeeping staff especially Kawther was very pleasant, kind, helpful and willing to take extra steps to make our stay memorable. I loved the surprises we had every day in our room.

The pressure of the water is weak when you take showers.

It was the most palatial accommodation in beautifully maintained Riad, full of traditional charm and character. It is in a perfect location just on the edge of the Medina. The staff were all wonderful and helpful. You couldn't wish for a better place to stay in Marakesh

Nothing could be improved upon. It was all excellent.

Great location for visiting the very hectic Madena area. As soon as you step inside the door of the Riad, you leave the hustle and bustle behind and enter a peaceful beautiful traditionally decorated property. We would definitely go back again. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. We were offered Moroccan tea on arrival before being shown to our room and had a lovely fruit platter delivered to our room the following day.

The property was absolutely beautiful. It was very clean and there was a constant delightful but not overpowering scent of orange blossom everywhere. The pool was very refreshing and large enough to swim laps. Staff brought out towels and lounge chairs upon request to use the pool. We had lunch and dinner at the restaurant and both were delicious, especially the lamb tagine. Staff were incredibly thoughtful and bent over backwards to make our stay especially lovely- one day they brought a plate of fresh fruit to the room, another day a bouquet of roses. After dinner we asked if we could take our leftover olives and bread back to our room and they wrapped up a whole plate for us with additional olives and bread. The shower had excellent water pressure and was clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The location was excellent- very close to a taxi drop-off spot, a short walk to Jemaa el Fna and even closer to Jardin Secret and many wonderful shops and restaurants in the souks. I highly recommend staying here and would happily stay here again if/when we return to Marrakech!

The bar selection was ok but a bit limited.

Food was amazing, authentic & delicious! Staff were all lovely, very helpful. Room was great, lots of space, great air conditioning (was 40+ each day). Beautiful terraces, gardens, so tranquil - Riad was an oasis, lovely to come back to after a day outside in the Medina madness! Easy location to get to via taxi (only a short, straight walk from the outside Medina wall), in the safest area of the Medina, location was great for all attractions (that we wanted to see). They arranged a guide for us (who was fabulous - 50 Euro for 4 hours, very reasonable) - this was the best thing we did - got to see alot, learnt alot & felt safe.

Lost power one night, so a bit hot to sleep (but was rectified in the morning). Disappointed that the onsite restaurant was closed for renovations when we were there (it will be a lovely upgrade once done, but was really looking forward to eating in the restaurant!). The Medina, markets, square, etc are a bit of a nightmare for various reasons (and not necessarily in a good way) - would highly recommend a guide to take you around.

Palais Dar Donab is located in a quieter part of the Medina. It is also open to public to visit the Riad and eat in the restaurant. The property is very stylish and well kept. We had two suits- especially the Kontubia is really amazing.

The staff was very friendly and ready to help. Sometimes there was a longer waiting time in the restaurant and not all staff was professionally trained. But all in all we would come again.

Beautiful large suite, privacy, comfortable, location, nothing to complain about. Front desk staff excellent and so were the wait staff. Nothing was too much trouble, whether getting us a drink of tea or soft drink. Has security overnight so felt safe.

Nothing really, but would have love to have a kettle in the room, to boil water for tea. But not a big issue as staff brought hot water when you wanted it.

Beautiful Raid in a very convenient location. The rooms were stunning, very big and spacious. Breakfast was okay , too much bread and not enough fruit , plenty of choice on the evening menu. I felt confident eating at the raid instead of the many local restaurants. The man on reception was extremely helpful , but the waiters lacked enthusiasm! Would I go again ? With out a doubt!

More helpful waiters , not much enthusiasm for the job!
