Riad 58 Blu

We ended up booking our stay at Riad 58 Blu very last minute (we were supposed to be staying in a hostel but came down with dreaded food poisoning) we needed a haven to stay in whilst we recovered and Riad 58 Blu was indeed that. The size of the room and bathroom was amazing. The staff were phenomenal and made sure we were okay. Ismael specifically was wonderful! He checked in with us a few times to make sure we were okay and even organised food from Paolo's restaurant when it was too hot to go out. The place was quiet and there weren't many guests (which was nice as we needed it!). He even arranged for a free transfer to the airport early morning and organised an early breaky for us before we left. They even organised for us to check in early as we needed to sleep off the illness. The location of the Riad is a bit further out of the main square but this was actually good to be in a bit more quiet, near to the Bahia Palace too which was awesome! I can't rate Riad 58 Blu highly enough. Ismael also organised a little surprise gift for my partners birthday which was really special ❤️

Location of riad was perfect, central medina in short walking distance to main attractions. Smiley, as he requested to be named, was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble. As an example, Smiley insisted we were served breakfast at 630am on our last day before he escorted us to our complimentary cab to the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom very smart with nice little finishing touches of toiletries. We wanted to ship the superking mattress home with us! We wouldn't hesitate to rebook if back in Marrakech.

this is an authentic property if you want to live and enjoy everything the medina has to offer. the rooms are large and clean. the staff are as helpful as any 5* luxury hotel in the world. Youseff was a fantastic host and couldn’t do enough for us, as well as engaging in intelligent conversation, we feel we left there making a friend. I

the design of a Riad means the communal areas can echo when other less thoughtful guests decide to have loud conversations.

The location in the old Medina is great being very close to the main square. Short 10 min walk. Area is safe and small shop and restaurant lined route is straightforward . Only 5 rooms, but with very attentive & helpful management and staff. Breakfast is good and reasonably varied, and it was a pleasure to enjoy the early winter sun on the top terrace. Perhaps a little more fruit would appreciated by some. Staff arranged taxis very efficiently if needed. Pickup from airport was very efficient & included in the 3 night room price. Overall good value and an extremely enjoyable stay. Will stay again if we get another chance to visit Marrakesh. Well Recommended.

Excellent excellent service, beautiful property, great location near the main square yet still quiet. Communications leading up to the stay were responsive and helpful. We had a small hiccup with the room type (booked for two beds but only one was made) and the riad was quick to resolve upon arrival. My companion was also feeling a bit unwell, and they graciously ran out to get some bread to settle the stomach. Thank you Ismail and Paolo!

The receptionist ‘Ismael’ was great host and explained every thing about Marrakech , hotel and area for us , very nice and cheerful person . The hotel itself , the room and the facilities of the room great and beautiful . Cleaning was spotless no dust and no dirt anywhere at all.

Straight forward one issue and it was breakfast , we stayed there for two nights and first day breakfast was okayish , but second day was very poor. I would recommend if someone likes to have appropriate breakfast or Marrakesh one to reserve the room without breakfast.

It was an authentic Riad guesthouse in an authentic neighbourhood. The staff Ismail and Yousif were both superb in the way they handled my needs over 7 days of my stay at the Riad. The backroom staff were also great in keeping the place clean, preparing breakfast and general housekeeping.

There was nothing that was objectionable.

This this the first review I have ever left for a property but out of the tremendous experience I had at Riad 58BLU I feel obliged to change this. Ismail and Paolo are among the best hosts I have ever stayed with. I came during the winter, and at first I was cold. I mentioned this to Ismail and Paolo and they equipped me with an entirely new room with extra blankets, and heaters. They went above and beyond to cater to my concerns; this is the degree of attention they give to every guest. It is safe and comfortable here, and though I was traveling alone I was right at ease from the start. No doubt I will be staying here again when I return to Marrakesh. Its reputation is very, very well deserved. I wholeheartedly reccomend it.

1 - location which is in a quite section and away from the noise , this is needed when you need to rest after a long day out in Marrakech 2 - friendliness of the staff who make you feel like you’re at home not in a hotel / riad 3- the one and only Ismail , a one of a kind character who helped us with everything we needed and was SO full of energy and life. also thanks to Bridgette for helping us with our excursions outside of Marrakech

The staff went above and beyond to make our time with them special. Breakfast on the rooftop was wonderful and the room was fabulous! Loved everything about our stay and will definitely stay again on our next trip to Marrakech 🥰
