The location near the square and vibrant centre of Marrakech. The road was a lovely building and beautiful large rooms.

The restaurant was the focus of the property and the hotel was second. Evenings were quiet noisy as there were a few Christmas parties at the restaurant below.

This Riyad is a gem. So beautiful with exceptional staff. Mr Hassan the manager was so helpful kind and ever charming. His staff, Sharif, Omar, Simone and all the others went out of their way in insure that we enjoyed a marvelous holiday. The restaurant Pepenero, is on the ground floor of the Riyad with 5 rooms above looking into the pool and courtyard. It was excellent with both Italian and Morrocan food. We enjoyed watching the dinner guests coming and going and we’re not bothered by the chatter and noise. Always quiet after 10 pm! We had one of the two suites with our own inner terrace and a beautiful huge private roof top terrace. It was all absolutely amazing.

The riad is part of the famous Pepe Nero which is an Italian restaurant. I understand the concept of prioritise the restaurant but not when this impacts the rest of your guests after 11pm. First night was too noisy, got several birthday songs and on e at 00.30am. Should work on that aspect or make it more soundproof. And could think about giving a discount for the restaurant to the guests of the hotel as we have to sacrifice our calm and rest in despite of the clients of the restaurant…

The riad was warm and welcoming and the service was exceptional. All of the staff spoke several languages and were easy to converse with. Whenever I returned to the riad, I was offered tea or coffee. I cannot endorse Raid Al Moussika enough, I will absolutely stay here again. The restaurant inside Pepe Nero was next level. As a solo traveler this was one of my most relaxing stays, and it is right in the heart on the old Medina. 10/10 recommend!

Incredible riad – a hidden gem with incredible service from Hassan and team, sumptuous palatial suites (the photos on this listing don’t do the Al Azrak Suite justice!), a great location and of course the really special restaurant. The service in particular was top class - we felt like VIPs throughout our stay and nothing was too much trouble for the team. Would definitely recommend!

Nothing – absolutely exceptional. If you’re a light sleeper and go to bed early then I could imagine that the light hubbub from the restaurant could be disturbing, but for us this was not an issue at all.

This riad is the jewel of Medina! We enjoyed very much our 3 night stay in this beautiful place. The location is perfect, within walking distance to all the sites to visit. Every detail of the Al Azrak suite is breathtaking! The restaurant in the courtyard with it’s music is also very pleasant in the evening, do not miss to have dinner there. We appreciated the warm welcome of Omar! A big thanks goes also to Simo who served us the delicious breakfast. I definitely recommend this riad to all those who look for a special place with a soul!

Very well restored and attractive riyad in a particularly quiet location - yet only a short walk to the souks. There are only four guestrooms, so the place never feels crowded during the daytime. They are pretty well appointed too, but retain a traditional feel. The rooms are all on the 1st floor and offset, which is excellent, if you appreciate how noisy some riyads can be (especially on the ground floor). They are a good size also, and don't have a double bed wedged into a narrow space (if you are new to this type of stay, always check the pictures and avoid the ground floor!!). It's busier during the evening as the restaurant Pepe Nero is on site. This is a very well regarded Italian restaurant (with a few Moroccan dishes) and already features in the local good food guides. The diners are all downstairs and don't intrude on the accommodation. Additionally, I did get to see the kitchens, and they are spotless. Breakfasts are generous and the staff were very helpful. They will arrange taxis, book restaurants, exchange money... There is a free hammam on site plus associated treatments at extra cost. All riyads have their pros and cons, but this one does the important things really well.

Very little to dislike. Perhaps, a little more investment in the roof terrace - such as a plunge pool or cold shower.

Hassan and his team were exceptional with their service. Nothing was too much trouble for Hassan. They helped book taxis and guides and hammams. The restaurant Pepe Nero in the riad is excellent and the breakfasts were fresh and tasty. There were endless complimentary soft drinks and Hassan very kindly went out and bought us some oat milk on our first day as we don’t drink dairy milk. Highly recommend this place which is just a few minutes walk outside the hustle and bustle of the souks but still within the old Medina. It was very peaceful and we stayed in the green suite which included a little sitting area outside on the balcony overlooking the pool and also a roof terrace where we had our massages and could watch the sunrise. Our teenage daughter liked her smaller double room. Fortunately she likes to go to bed late as you could hear some noise from the restaurant there. There are only four rooms from what I could tell in the riad, so it is very intimate, which we liked. Big thumbs up!

The restaurant downstairs can be a bit noisy if you sleep before 11:30.

Each morning we were greeted with an amazing breakfast. After a day of exploring it was so nice to have afternoon refreshments—also included in your stay. There is a wonderful restaurant downstairs. The noise from the restaurant did NOT bother us at all. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the evenings. Highly recommend booking airport transfer with them as well. The fee is exactly the same as booking independently.
