This riad was great. Big rooms, beautiful building and perfect location. But what stood out above the rest was the exceptional service from the staff. Hassan in particular went far above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay, from meeting us when we first arrived to help guide us down the maze of streets to the riad, to messaging us on his day off to ensure we got our transfer and got home OK at the end of our visit, and always with a big smile. Khalil and the manager Imad were also great throughout our stay, including Khalil negotiating with and taking us to our return transfer & printing our boarding passes last minute, and Imad getting a gift for my partner when discovering it was her birthday, and being really flexible on checkout times. Thank you to the whole team, you really added to our visit.

We had an excellent time at Riad Khalifa. The staff was amazing, kind, very welcoming and they really looked after us. They made us feel like family. Imad, the manager gave us many tips and was very friendly and easy to talk to. The room was very spacious with traditional furniture adding to the overall experience of Marrakech. The Riad is very beautiful , quiet and within 5 mins walk from the market through a few alleys. We also had a few meals at the riad which were excellent and they also had very good breakfast. We were able to book transport through them and they were able to take us from and to the drop off point so we don't get lost. Nothing was too much trouble for them! If we visited Marrakech again we would definitely stay there again!

The Riad is in a good location in the medina. The staff are lovely and accommodating. The roof terrace is nice if you want to chill and get a bit of sun - they have just had new sun beds !

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room. It was over priced compared to some of the other Riads in the area. There is a lady who stays in Room No 7 - I am assuming she is the owner - she is so loud, so demanding and constantly shouting for staff to do things for her - they are run off their feet trying to accommodate her needs or she is shouting at them - it’s awful listening to her. She also sits on the terrace on her phone either having loud conversations or watching videos - it’s really annoying if you want to sit and relax

This place is mindblowing! Imagine this: You're squeezing through the crowd of the old medina's bazaar in Marrakech, with people, motorcycles, tourists, traders, donkeys, noise, music, shouting, and smells. Suddenly, you turn into a seemingly suspicious, empty alley and for a few minutes, you walk through a labyrinth of dark corners. You reach ornately decorated doors and a corridor with a carpet and paintings on the walls, leading you to a courtyard with a fountain and a well (this is how old riads, or traditional homes in this region, are designed to cool the entire living space). You're in silence - you only hear the fountain. Then, you enter an apartment that Gertrude Bell and Lawrence of Arabia wouldn't be ashamed of. Silence, peace, and brilliant service. And when you want to return to the hustle and bustle of the medina and explore the city - you just step out and there you are.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Marrakech. The wood of the doors and decorations has aged, and if one insisted, it could be restored—but is that really the point? The patina only adds to the charm of this place.

Located in the northern Median, the Riad Si Kahlifa would be impossible to find without the meet and greet. Once inside all the sights, sounds and smells of the city fall away and it's just peace and tranquillity. Great set of people, from Kahlil, Hassan, Immad and Fatima - all going the extra mile - literally - to ensure we had a great stay. Breakfast is eclectic, with cake and breads, cheeses and meats, fried breads etc., and any requests were never too much trouble. Happily stay again should we return. An oasis in a enjoyable maelstrom of a city.

Finding the Riad and the route in from the street is a bit Dickensian. All adds to the atmosphere I guess.

Our stay was wonderful, the Riad was beautiful and the staff were so helpful and friendly. They arranged our airport transfers for us and helped us to find a local tour guide at a really good price, much better than alternatives I found online so worth checking with them first. The location is great as you are in the middle of all the souks/markets and only a short walk from local taxi pick up/drop off point. And when returning late at night we could call the Riad and someone would meet us at the pick up point to walk safely back to the Riad, however even as 4 young women travelling we felt very safe and comfortable walking around by ourselves.

One of our party was gluten free and it wasn't clear what options she could and couldn't eat at breakfast. However we really didn't do a lot about this at the time so i'm sure if we pushed they would have sorted this out for us.

Authentic riad (traditional Moroccan hotel) with fantastic architecture in the heart of the busy Medina (city center). The staff was very kind and helpful. Every morning, we enjoyed a tasty breakfast on the rooftop with a view of the whole city.

Riad may be challenging to locate for first-time visitors due to the extensive and complicated street system. 😃 Please follow the instructions from the hotel manager. There is no gym and a lot of stairs. Both were not an issue for us; just mentioning it.

The staff were exceptional. They were always smiling and accommodating. True moroccan hospitality. I had a hammam treatment, where i could walk back to the room in my robe and they brought in mint tea afterwards. The riad was right in the centre of the medina yet it was still quiet and serene. They accommodated my husband and I, who are vegan, with a wonderful breakfast on their rooftop terrasse overlooking the city. All in all a wonderful stay.

Nothing. It would have been good if they accepted American Express.

The staff went above and beyond in helping me settle in, and taking me to/from taxis as cars can't enter the Medina, so finding your way around is a bit difficult! The rooms were a fab size, and I loved the bathroom!

The only thing I could complain about is the location of the riad, being in the very centre of the Medina which made it difficult to find your way to and from it. Having said that, the staff helped tremendously and by my third and final day I was more familiar with the streets near to the riad, so given a few more days I'd have probably been able to find my way around easily :)

Riad very well managed by Aihmad! Simple but very good breakfast served on the upper terrace with great view over Marrakesh. The room was well cleaned and the airconditioning was very helpful since our visit was in July. The staff that assisted our stay (Hassan and Ahmed) was excellent being always available and extremely nice and polite. They even texted us during the day to check if everything was running well! :)

The stay was great! Maybe next time we will visit on Feb/March since temperatures are not so high.
