Everything! First thing to mention is the staff. I got a message from them before arrival with a map and some advise. When I arrived they put the ac for me, give me some traditional tea and biscuits. He explained when breakfast was, gave me a map and show me places to go to Marrakech. He even remembered my birthday after I checked out and went on travelling. Also, I told them I’d miss breakfast because I had to leave early and they prepared a small takeaway breakfast for me. Amazing hosts!

You don’t have own access to the riad, so the girl in reception has to wake up to let you in… and I felt a bit wrong.

Having travelled a fair bit of the world over the last few years, I can wholeheartedly say that this accommodation has some of the best service and hospitality I've experienced. Nael and his team go above and beyond and they really are a credit to the riad and its guests. As for the riad itself, it has an excellent location in central Marrakesh. It's far enough away that it's quiet and peaceful but is close enough to make all the main attractions easily walkable. The rooms are very well equipped with everything you'd need and the breakfast every morning was superb and cooked to order. I couldn't recommend staying at this riad more if you're planning on visiting Marrakesh. I hope to visit again one day!

This beautifully decorated Riad is a peaceful retreat located in easy walking distance from the main Jemaa el-Fnaa square, The service is exceptional: thoughtfully attentive to every detail, responsive to requests, warm and welcoming. Breakfasts served on the rooftop terrace were fresh-made, well-presented and delicious. For guests who wish to dine in, lunch or dinner can be booked in advance. To my delight, I was also able to book a cooking lesson (hoping to re-create the Riad's spectacular chicken tagine at home!). My room was spotless and had all the needed amenities, from high quality bath products to sufficient outlets for charging various devices. An on-site hammam is a bonus. This is a truly special property run by an outstanding team. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Extremely Friendly and helpful staff- Nile, Raqayah and Yasmine were great! Nile gave us excellent recommendations on where to go and what to eat! Very useful indeed. Great Location- Close to 'Chez Lamine' one of the best food places in Marrakesh for Tangia and Méchoui. Tastefully decorated rooms and Comfortable beds Especially pleased with the thoughtful amenities provided. The shower spray in the toilet was a fantastic touch—it's those little details that make a big difference in comfort.

Not accessible via Google maps- took us to a completely different place, nowhere close to the actual riad! (Print the directions given by the riad beforehand so you don't have the same trouble as we did!) Breakfast area was a bit small, we felt we were sitting with the people on the table next to us.

Super Friendly staff and give all your requests a solution . Comfortable bed . Great location next to jee de maa Square and the market but still have the quietness . Simple but delicious breakfast. Good Safety there is people 24 hours to open the gate manually . Cleaness of the room .everyday cleaning. Beautiful Moroccan riad with combination of traditional interior and modern facilities .

Shower head stand is a bit loose , stopcontacts on the side of bed is difficult to reach matrass is too big . Ventilation of the room and bathroom (have to open the window but then lost privacy) . .

The riad is so beautiful and full of character as you’d expect of a traditional house in Medina. All staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful, especially the girls with whom I enjoyed endless chats! The place is kept very clean and the breakfast was very good.

Rooms are not soundproof which is expected in a building of this age and design. Ear plugs are therefore a must for light sleepers.

If I could give 20 points  in every category, I would do so. This is a lovely riad in a heart of Medina and next to the crazy Jemaa el Fna square - right in the heart of Marrakesch! There is everything one might need: local food, spices, clothing etc - the souq is right there. At the same time the riad is situated in the internal  part of an old, habitual infrastructure. In just a few passes you are back in the deep peace. The place is very clean and stylish. I liked the two levels of the roof top and of course my cozy, very nice decorated room. It had an own bathroom and an air conditioner. On the arrival I've been welcomed with the marocan tea, cookies and water. A very friendly and well informed lady gave me the map and explained, how to move around Marrakesch. She gave me some very useful tips, so I could arrange into the local life and rules. All people, who work in the Riad La Cigale are very friendly, respectful and open minded. They've been there for me, whatever I needed. I enjoyed the nice  breakfast on the roof top and my privacy. As a solo traveller I felt very safe there. If I'll come back to Marrakesch, I'll want to stay in this riad again. Thank you!

Excellent location. Cozy and run with heart like a family home. In the center of Marrakech, close to everywhere but kind of out of the way. You can have a good rest after the hustle and bustle of the city. Comfortable rooms in a traditional Riad with a cozy patio and a great view from the roof. Very helpful, patient, kind and discreet staff. The peace and comfort of guests is also taken care of by the owner of the house. We have very fond memories of our stay and if we ever find ourselves in Marrakech again, we would like to return to your house. Thanks for a successful stay.

The hosts were amazing and made our stay feel like visiting dear, very attentive and courteous relatives. Everything was at a high standard - well thought interior design, many sitting places spread over three floors so you can enjoy intimate relaxing moments after visiting the city, the quietness, in house prepared breakfast, comfortable beds and all was spotless clean. We took advantage of dinner being prepared there and it was amazingly good, also took a cooking lesson with Roqaya and were left with wonderful memories and new skills to take home. We received spot on guidance about the city and how to navigate it, all we needed was arranged for us (trips, transfers, activities) very professionally and we felt cared for all the time.

There is nothing we could have asked to be better.

We couldn't have been more happy and comfortable at our stay at Riad La Cigale! Roquaya, Nael, Kabira and Yasmin were so hospitable, friendly and accommodating. We loved having traditional Moriccan breakfasts every morning: they were delicious! All recommendations made to us were brilliant. Big shout out to the Toubkal restaurant on the main square : the chicken Tagine was the best we had. If you are looking for absolute luxury, go somewhere else, but we had everything we needed from our stay: clean comfortable accommodation, restful and pretty communal areas, delicious breakfasts, friendly staff and perfect location for city centre. Thankyou Riad La Cigale for our wedding anniversary surprise! The stay exceeded our expectations!
