The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! They were so kind, helpful & polite. They are there 24/7 to let you into the secured building (we got in after 1 am, so we were very pleased to be greeted by one of them at the main square, to help with our luggage) The breakfast was lovely (rolls, Danishes, cheese, eggs, jam, peanut butter, fruit, juice, coffee). Every inch of the hotel looks authentic and decorated exactly like what you would picture Princess Jasmine to live in. The outside is very unassuming, but once door 52 opens, it's like you are entering Narnia. The bath tub is huge and we also had a separate shower. Our room was very quiet. The rooftop is very pretty and has a view of the area and you can go up there with a beverage or snack and hang out. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Only that the hotel was a bit of a walk off the main square (we hadn't researched it, but it was ok). When the streets are not busy, it's not that far, but we got in late and the markets were very lively so it was a little bit of a struggle with our luggage. Our friend was woken very each day by the call to prayer, so some rooms must face the mosque. In that case, bring or buy ear plugs.

I recently stayed at Riad Yamina52, and it was a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The riad itself is beautifully decorated with a traditional Moroccan charm, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfast each morning was delicious and freshly prepared, showcasing local flavors. The location was perfect for exploring the area on foot, yet it still felt like a peaceful escape from the city's bustle. Highly recommend Riad Yamina52 for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable stay in Marrakech!

This Riad was AMAZING! Magical. The decor was a beautiful representation of Moroccan design and architecture - absolutely stunning. We did not want some cookie-cutter hotel experience; we wanted to experience the local culture. The location was great. You don't want to stay right at the market...too noisy. This was just far enough away for peace and quite, yet a short walk to the market. The breakfast was authentic Moroccan food - delicious. The host, Moha, and staff were first rate; gracious, helpful, and totally accommodating. Don't be shy to ask for help or to learn: how to get around, where to shop, customs, how to negotiate, where to eat and not to eat (many foreigners get sick from eating at the local food stands). They made restaurant recommendations and reservations. We were offered hugs upon departure, which we readily participated in. When we left, they arranged for the taxi and physically escorted us (carrying luggage) a distance to the cab.

I would change nothing: this Riad and their service couldn't have been better. Comments about Marrakesh in general....Just be prepared for the market...the vendors can be very aggressive. We had to learn fast. Again, depend upon Moha to guide you in how to shop. Offer half what is requested and be willing to walk away. The vendors make sure that they make a profit and will ultimately tell you or will let you walk away. A win, win, for all.

The staff was super friendly, picked us up from our taxi drop off on the first day and highlighted some key landmarks for us to remember so we wouldn’t get lost. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay, so many delicious options: breads, cake, pastries, yogurt, fruit, jams. We got asked in the first day what we like to drink (tea/coffe) and the team remembered that for the rest of the stay and greeted us the following morning with our drinks already prepared, which was very nice. Room gets cleaned, tidied up and towels changed on a daily basis. The location is great, only 5/10 minute walk from the main square and not too far from the street market. The team also can organise trips, transfers and guides for you. We asked them to book a guide for us that would show us around on the first day and that was super helpful as they meet you at the Riad and took us around town and some key landmarks. The view of the main area was stunning with the pool and trees. In the mornings little bird would sneak in through the roof and wanted around while you were having breakfast, so cute!

It is an ex house after all, so you can hear people chatting downstairs while having breakfast or dishes being washed in the kitchen (from our room, however there is a second part of the Riad which I think is quieter) - this wasn’t really a problem for us, most guest were quite respectful and speaking quietly but be aware that you can hear people’s chit chat. The Riad is almost at the end of a residential street where kids like to play and kick ball, so be careful of not getting in their way otherwise you might get hit. The only thing we didn’t like was bathroom ’door’ in our room : it was more like a wooden room decider, like a trellis, so you could actually hear and see everything that was happening in the bathroom, so there wasn’t much privacy.

Lovely riad tucked back into a quiet, residential area that is about a 10-minute walk from Place Jemaa El Fna. We've stayed in numerous Marrkesh riads throughout the last several years and we would rate most of those higher than Riad Yamina. There just isn't quite the attention to detail that you can find in other riads and the staff was just "okay." That being said, it was still a lovely stay. The bed was extremely firm and some may find that problematic. The tagine we were served at night was one of the best we've had in Morocco! Overall, not a bad place to stay in the medina of Marrakesh!

Hard beds. Not quite the "Wow factor" that some of the other riads have.

Everything about our stay at Riad Yamina 52 was wonderful. From the warm welcome from Medhi, the mint tea on arrival, the fabulous rooms, the stylish decor, the tranquil atmosphere, the discreet yet dedicated attention from Mohammed and his team, we really couldn't fault this place at all. We also felt at home as soon as we arrived. The location is ideal - not as far from things as it looks on the map. We had a meal there too and it was the best meal we had in Marrakesh! Delicious. Thank you so much for an unforgettable stay. (sorry guys if I've got your names wrong!)

We didn't like leaving!

The place is really cozy, clean and very conveniently located: 5 min walk from El Efna. Staff if extremely kind and welcoming. Don't miss to visit the terrace at the sunset, possibly bringing a book along: it's a truly mind-resting experience. We felt at home since the very first moment and we will definitely come back!

Not super easy to be found the first times you go walking on your own if you didn't take some milestone beforehand (note that both Google Maps and Apple bring you in the wrong street and mobile GPS, including the brand new GPS system of Apple Iwatch Ultra, do not work well in those alleys). Staff however is ready to come pick you up if you get lost.

Absolutely beautiful Rhiad, like something out of a fairy tale ! Blissfully quiet and cool in the heart of the Medina just a few minutes walk from the main square , truly an oasis from the heat and bustle of the streets. The wonderful manager ,monsieur Moha, and everyone working there, is incredibly helpful, courteous and kind. We were made to feel so welcome , slept like babies and the breakfast is a feast !! We had help arranging transport at very good rates and you can be eating delicious street food just two roads over. Our favourite place in Morocco . Thank you so much team Yamina!

This was one of the best places we have ever stayed. The riad itself is breathtaking, and every corner feels welcoming and relaxing. The staff are truly the stars of the show, though - every single staff member was warm, welcoming, and unfailingly kind and helpful. Mr. Mohar (sp?) in particular went above and beyond to make us feel cared for, even helping us package some last-minute furniture purchases on the night before our flight home so we could carry them on the plane. We are already planning to stay here again the next time we are in Marrakech.

There were truly no negatives to our stay here! The mattress in our bedroom was on the firm side, but we didn't mind and still slept comfortably. Everything else exceeded expectations.

Riad Yamina is fantastic and soon to be even better with their planned extension. The breakfast is a great start to the day and it’s just off the best market areas. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful - organising a taxi through them for arrival/departure is a must as it makes the journey from the airport so much easier. I’d also recommend getting dinner in the Riad on the first night!
