clean rooms, great location, the staff were absolutely lovely, especially the man who I assume was the manager. They upgraded my room for free, made me coffee, allowed me to change my booking due to my circumstances changing (I was travelling during the off season so I assume this was why), and the manager even helped me to get a taxi in the morning and waiting outside the hotel with me to help me work out which car it was and help me load my bags into the car. Absolutely would recommend. Good breakfast, gave me a packed breakfast when I was starting a day trip very early. Great hotel

The staff is very friendly and helpful! When I arrived and checked in, they offered me a nice hot coffee and after a long day of trekking and running around, it was the perfect little gesture to make me feel more at home. The manager is ready and willing to help with any aspect of your trip, whether that means giving you advice for places to visit or organizing transportation anywhere you want to go. The room was very cozy and clean- there is an outlet right next to the bed, the aircon works very well and the hot water in the shower may take a minute to figure out but will get nice and hot! There is a breakfast served every morning that was very yummy and comforting.

The only thing this hotel does not have is a restaurant attached, but there are plenty of places to eat nearby (including right across the street) so I do not think it is a problem, This is a very nice place to stay in Kathmandu.

This was our first hotel in Nepal and we were a bit weary of the hotel and hygiene standards. Luckily, Kasthamandap Boutique hotel proved that this wasn't necessary. Very clean hotel and helpful staff. The receptionist stayed up to welcome us after our flight even till 2am. Furthermore, he put a lot of effort in communicating with the airport and airline, as they had lost our luggage during the flight. Partially due to the effort of the hotel staff, we were able to retrieve our luggage the next day and really start our vacation!

Breakfast could have been better

This is a wonderful little hotel in an alley just off the main hustle of Thamel. Everything was great - I had a room on the 5th floor and had a very quiet night there. The room was light and well equipped, the shower was hot with good pressure. There is a lift which was a big help with my huge luggage. The breakfast was tasty with quite a few choices. A special thank you to the amazing staff! They truly were so helpful and kind! All in all a great value for money, I spent a while looking for a place in Thamel and was happy to have finally chosen this hotel.

Breakfast was delicious and offered a nice blend of local and international dishes. We enjoyed the traditional room, where it was presented as a buffet. Staff was available and keen to attend to special requests. Mr Prabin-Shah gave valuable advice and tips about the most wonderful and impressive sites in and around Kathmandu. He also arranged for private transportation with a comfortable vehicle and a good driver (how much appreciated!), at a reasonable price. All in all value-for-money and a pleasanrlr way to get to know Kathmandu.

We stayed now the 6 th time in this hotel and also this stay was amazing again. Its our second home in Nepal and can recommend this hotel with an excellent service and very friendly, helpful and open staff. The daily breakfast is perfect and very delicious. thank you very much for this perfect stay again with you.. we will come back again for sure .. The staff, quality of service and the quiet location is super and really amazing. Its a very special and warm atmosphere in the hotel so that you can really call it as your second home in Nepal.

We really enjoyed our stay here, we felt super welcomed, specially by Thapa, who was very attentive and nice. All the staff were super welcoming and helpful. The rooms are exactly as they appear in the pictures, clean, nice and comfortable. The breakfast was great and varied, and the internet worked very well for meetings and remote working. Great location with top notch staff. Prabin was particularly welcoming and helpful to me during my stay and assisted me in getting a taxi to the airport on my final day. He was very knowledgeable about Kathmandu and trekking as he had previously worked as a guide. He's a great guy to work with.
