We are so glad we picked this property. It was truly wonderful. The location couldn’t be better, right in the heart of the old town with a supermarket across the street and car parking a few steps away. We had three apartments and they were all first class. One of them opened on to a terrace where we spent each evening relaxing with a bottle of wine and listening to the magical church bells. The air conditioning was great and the rooms were decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen had everything we needed and the smart TV gave us lots of options if we were to stay indoors. The lovely old town is right out of the front door making it easy to stroll around and chose where to rest for a coffee or something stronger. There are many great places to eat, whether it’s a snack or a high class dinner. You can opt for busy or quiet locations and all of the staff are pleasant and efficient. English is widely spoken. Best of all was the care and attention of our hosts, who were outstanding. We were there for a special family occasion and they really went out of their way to make it perfect for us. Such lovely extra surprises show how much they care for their guests. I can’t praise them highly enough and I wish we could have awarded this property more than a 10 rating. They are exceptional.

The apartment was comfortable and roomy, with everything we needed, including a washing machine. The bed was comfortable. It was convenient having a supermarket a block away. The train station was a short walk away.

I was unable to use the digital key to unlock the door when we arrived. The owner was very helpful in unlocking the door remotely. Once inside, we were able to use a key card for the rest of our stay.

The facilities were exactly what we needed. We were able to do some light-cooking, laundry, and had a living space to unwind. Bedroom was spacious and comfy as well. Location is a 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, but right at the fringe of the city center. We were able to make it for the Cheese Market in a <5 minutes walk. It was easy to check-in (digital key) and the host was flexible and patient when we had to check-in late. Communication via WhatsApp was really smooth.

The brick wall while adding to the aesthetic, was chipping and had a very rough exterior. We had to be careful to not brush against that one side of the unused wall.

This is a fabulous apartment in a pretty perfect location near the heart of Alkmaar. Very quiet, but within a 5 minute walk is the central hub. Train station is an easy 20 minute walk and is very safe even at night. Spacious and well set up, so big thanks to our great hosts

Excellent apartement, location and service. The communcation was easy and nice. The rooms were well designed with great interior and VERY clean. The hotel is directly located in the city center so you can walk everywhere - 20 min drive to the ocean. We would love to come back at any time. Thank you so much for the lovely stay Noa!

The location is unbeatable,easy to park (2 min walk and cheap prices, though we didn't quite understand the price structure but it added up under 10 euro for 2 days so we are happy ) and supermarket (close at 10pm from Mon to Sat and also open on Sunday!) is just around the corner. The apartment is spacious and modernly decorated. The contactless check in process was easy ,same as communication with the owner. Highly recommendable!

Great room, comfy bed, hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating, the door code also made check in/out really easy. location was fantastic (only 10min walk from the main train station), also close to supermarket (1min walk)

a little pricey if you are going solo

The location of this appartment is excellent. In the middle of the centre but not at a busy street. Easy to go out and cheap parking in "de vest". Also it is large and excellent for a longer stay. Will definitley come back to this location.

No remarks, it was all good.

The location was excellent. Right in the centre of the old town. We walked everywhere. Groceries were right across the street in the Jumbo store. The Cheese Museum and church were also close by. The apartment was very well appointed, with all the amenities.

The flat we were given was spotless and beautifully furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable and it was nice to have a kitchen area to cook our own food. They also left a card game for us to try and made us very welcome. Couldn’t have asked for anywhere better to stay.
