Hotel Mastbosch is a nice hotel that looks like just a little chateaux in the forest. It is located next to the forest Mastbosch which offers many options for walks or jogging etc. The staff was very nice and helpful, whether I needed a hairdryer, triple AAA batteries or just advice, they always solved my problem. Also when I needed a taxi, which is not often easy in Breda, they managed to call me a car. One day I had a dinner in the restaurant and it was absolutely delicious. The carrot cake was just a little piece of art. Also the candlelight atmosphere was very lovely. As for the room, it had a huge spacious desk and good chair, which is for me a must. The room itself is big and you can regulate the heating (it was kind of cold outside, but inside I felt warm and cozy). The bed was also big and quite comfortable. The furniture in the room is a bit old-school but in a good way and it matches the atmosphere of the whole hotel.

This is not the fault of the hotel, but during the weekends there is no nearby public transport (line 6 does not operate on Saturday and Sunday).

The location is wonderful it is in the Mastbosch forest, but also not far from the area where shops and restaurants are. You wake hearing birds sing, and they have a comfortable large terrace where people sit outside, or come after walking through the forest for a drink or a meal.The decor is traditional, very fitting for the surroundings, and the staff are young and energetic, and dedicated. They made us feel welcome. We had a lovely stay.

I really don't know, maybe there could be a bit more lighting in the dining room/Grand Cafe, but it did not disturb me.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and the view.

The room did not have tea/coffee facilities which I requested when booking and overlooked the fact it was not included in the price. The price was too high for what the room contained. The mattress was uncomfortable. I wouldn't rate it as a 4*Hotel.

Amaging location with huge incredible forest right in front of hotel that provides fresh air! Food were also good. Most staff were quite kind and supportable. Strongly recommend to have bicycling to the middle of forrest.

Hotel looks like quite old, and amenity too. Worried about no air condition system in the room. Can be a problem in the hot summer but it was Ok at the early of July.

In this hotel it is like time stood still! Everything is original. Lovely We had a lovely big room and bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Good shower. The terrace is very pretty and had a good atmosphere. Breakfast was very basic but of a good standard.

As it is old there is no airco. It was very hot in the room. Though they did provide a fan. The breakfast staff were very welcoming but the evening staff were less friendly. They were short of staff so the kitchen was closed in the evening.

We stayed in the Parkhotel Mastbosch for one night. The staff was very friendly; the room was traditional, clean, with very comfortable beds and with a great view to the park.The bathroom was nice and modern, including a nice shower. Also, the hotel was very quiet at night as it is next to the forest.

We did expected that the breakfast had more variety of foods. Including non-lactose and plant based options for yoghurt, milk etc. Also, the times for breakfast were not so flexible, and the turn finishes fast for the "late-bird" people.

The hotel is full of history and authentic details. It's located right at the entrance of a beautiful forest, but also very close by the center of Breda. Our room was spacious and the jacuzzi and wooden furniture made it feel luxurious. In the morning we had a really nice breakfast with the usual selection you will find in pretty much any hotel, but in a more beautiful ambience. The staff was welcoming and flexible. 10/10 would stay again.

The menu (both dinner and breakfast) could use an update to include more vegetarian/vegan options.

The location is right next to the forest, around 25min walk from the city center, it's secluded and quiet. We loved the very classical style and interior details and how clean it is. Staff is friendly and helpfull, the breakfast was tasty and the selection was good.

The parking possibilities are limited at times. The breakfast could be cheaper, general impression is that the value for money is at the limit.

great spot great hotel .

the bar shut at 11.0clock .we had a bad journey due to road works .the staff wouldn’t serve us a couple off drinks although we got there at 10 .11 .and was a lock in going on after that time .not impressed

Classic hotel with traditional charm and large terrace in a quiet neighbourhood. Right across from a forest park. Bicycles available to rent and just a short cycle from the city centre. If creaky floorboards and thin walls annoy you don't stay here.
