Location of the hotel is in a residential neighbourhood, very quiet. Access from the train stations late at night is difficult and requires a reasonably long walk through residential neighbourhoods with no signs indicating hotel location (google maps essential). Reception is manned 24 hours, and rooms are clean and reasonably comfortable. A fan provided in every room helps during summer to move air around (no A/C) which is good as the preponderance of trees in the neighbourhood mean lots of bugs with windows open (no screens). Breakfast is reasonable and coffee is good.

Bicycle rental (there is no public transport in the immediate vicinity and it is, after all, Holland, where everyone rides) is expensive and there are no shared (bike) ride options available.

Good and easy to find location within a ten minute stroll of the city centre. Good friendly and helpful staff; courteous and always polite.

My room was next to the fire door which had a loud bang when it was shutting. On the second from last day the cleaner took my tea-cup from the room and never replaced it. It was not that important as I could have asked for a cup via the reception but I always forgot by the time I remebered.

This time we stayed in the apartment which is in another part of Hilversum. Very handy for the train station. The apartment was good . Lots of places where you can have breakfast .

Please be aware you are pretty much left to your own devices which in some respects is good but the apartment does not change the towels or tea towels. We ended up going back to the hotel and asking for some. Kitchen facilities good with added dishwasher. However lots of build up of limescale around the kitchen tap.

Really love the location of the apartments - it is quiet and peaceful! Easy access to the station and the town square, and the service and team were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This is my second stay, and I will be back!

The beds (we asked for a twin room) were very small and uncomfortable. I understand space is limited, and so accept this is what it is. For future bookings we will book a double bed.

Very lovely Hotel situated in beautiful neighbourhood. Within 5 minutes walk you are in the central square of Hilversum and train station where you can reach Amsterdam or Utrecht within 20 mins and Schiphol in 30 minutes. Possibility of parking the car. All staff members were helpful and professional. My single room was very spacious and got cleaned every day. Very happy with my stay at Amrâth. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect for easy access to Utrecht and to Amsterdam airport, The room was clean and comfortable and there was a TV and shower facility. All staff were very friendly and welcoming.

I paid 9 Euros for a bottle of sparkling water which was very expensive, the first night I stayed it was very noisy in the corridor outside and the Breakfast was also expensive for what it was. The information available at the front of house regarding things to do in the local area was very limited.

The food was exceptional. Great breakfast selection and lovely evening meal. Staff went out of their way to be helpful

Expensive. Back in the UK for the same specification of hotel and facilities (having just stayed for a week in a Premier Inn for example in Chester), I had a double bed and for substantially less money Ie I paid around £60 per night for same spec room in UK compared to this with only a single bed worked out £125 per night plus food on top.

everything was excellent ! I had booked a single room and the layout is so comfortable that it feels bigger than it really is. The bathroom was huge, the bed very comfortable, there was a lot of storage space and a big window kept the room brightly lit. The location is very good, close to the train station and the centre by foot The hotel also has a great restaurant with very tasty food and a really good breakfast buffet Hotel staff was great, very polite and always happy to help and answer any question overall I was very happy and I would most definitely recommend staying there!

The hotel is in a very quiet location yet only a few minutes from the centre of Hilversum. This makes it easy to travel to Amsterdam, Utrecht or Amersfoort. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, at the time of our visit, building work was taking place to the outside of the hotel. I believe the hotel should have acknowledged the disturbance this created for some guests. This was sad because otherwise we found the hotel superb.

Large and comfortable room. Laundry facilities available were very helpful. Beautiful gardens. Hotel central to the town centre, but in a quiet street near lovely homes and gardens.caf parking on the property very helpful. Lovely eating area indoors and outdoors.

The scaffolding and workers directly outside our windows blocked any view amd a fair bit if natural light. Potentially uncomfortable for privacy.
