The staff was amazing and efficient. The room was clean. The hotel was in excellent condition. We were able to check-in early too. Breakfast was simple and concise. I liked the traditional Dutch suggestions for breakfast.

It would've been nice to have an iron and ironing board in the room. The location is about a 10 minute walk to the train station which takes you another 5 minutes to reach the airport and 20 minutes Amsterdam Centraal. Not far but not the most convenient either (given a round trip ticket on the Sprinter costs 13 Euros)

The hotel was nice, staff were very helpful and polite. The room was small but comfortable. The breakfast buffet was sufficient. Nice location 25 - 35 minutes away from Harlem and Amsterdam Centrum. Public transport connections are available within a 10 15-minute walk. New building works all around this area, so amenities should no doubt improve.

No room safe. My room had no real storage for long staying customers. Unadjustable air conditioner in the room. Lack of English speaking channels on tv, with poor signal. And poor wi-fi signal throughout the building. There is no toilet brush in the bathroom. No room telephone connection was available for room service. No airport shuttle transfers were available. No real information is available on trips or activities in the local area. New buildings works all around this area so there was some noise pollution.

The room was good. Not large, however more than adequate for us. Location was ideal (10 minute walk from/to Hoofdorp train station, one stop from the airport). Breakfast was good with substantial variety (even peanut butter!) and lots of room to serve yourself and spacious places to sit. Large lobby and sitting area with light food and drinks available ($). A large commercial centre is a 15 minute walk away. It has food stores, restaurants, and other services. And the location provides access to nice residential areas and a park providing a different perspective of Amsterdam then the centre.

Air conditioning is centrally controlled from the front desk. It needs to be "turned on" and then takes hours before it works in the room. Bizarre. The location is awkward to get to if driving (we were walking) and is in an area with significant building construction. Not an issue for us; might be for some.

The room was good, a nice size, with good beds and clean. The breakfast was good with many options. The location is good, it took us about 12 minutes to walk to the Hoofdrrop station. This train comes often and it has 4 stops, the first is Schiphol airport, the fourth is the central station in Amsterdam and you get there within 20 minutes. This means you don't need to switch to another train or bus. From the Hoofdrrop station, you can take a train to almost anywhere in the Netherlands. It's the only country in Europe, you can get anywhere very quickly. Car parking is $15 daily. Restaurants are located about 15 minutes walk from the hotel, not many choices, nothing fancy.

There is heavy construction around the hotel. This is a long term project. But, it didn't bother us.

1. A big downsize is the fact that no shuttle service from the airport is provided, unlike most of the hotels around do. Our taxi driver got confused arriving closer to the location since the neighbourhood is in a complete darkness, next to a big construction site. 2. During the day, if weather allows, you could take a train, as the station is 10min walking away. 3. Pleasant and helpful Staff at the reception and during breakfast.

See under point 1. above. In few years, once the construction work ends, this might change to a nice neighbourhood to stay in. Hopefully, shuttle service will be reintroduced.

If you've stayed at a Holiday Inn Express before, this is typical. Clean, comfortable room, buffet breakfast, pleasant staff. The man who spent a lot of time in the reception area was extremely helpful. The train station to both the airport and Amsterdam city is a short walk away. As many people have mentioned, there is a lot of construction work in the area but the hotel was well signposted. In spite of being close to the airport and in the midst of the construction work we heard no noise at all.

The hotel email regarding the location and how to reach was very well explained which helped me to reach to the hotel without any hassles. I loved the breakfast which was served. Though it was cold breakfast but great varieties of breads , croissants and cheese. Overall good experience. Not to forget their WIFI was superb. Also the staff are really professional and courteous. Special mention to "Khalil" for helping me with early check-in.

They have already informed about the construction next to the hotel which was fine.

NO SHUTTLE FROM THE AIRPORT , PLUS TOO MUCH CONSTRUCTION WORK GOING ON SO DIFFICULT TO FIND OUT THE PLACE. BREAKFST OK EUROPEAN STYLE. REST ALL OK , BUT PRICES WERE HIGH.

LOCATION THEY SHOULD HAVE REMOVE THE LANE IN BETWEEN FROM THE LOCATION. BEDS WERE SMALL 2PEOPLE DIFFICULT TO SLEEP. NO DISCOUNT THOUGH WE CHECKIN VERY LATE

Breakfast was OK Rooms were perfect staff customers service ok

My bedsheets not being charged some days this really upset me and for that reason I prefered making my bed at times to make sure my bedsheets are charged. Whoever cleaned my room on the Sunday I was there need to be told how important it is to change bedsheets when guests request to.

Very good Location and ambiance Friendly staff except one lady sits @reception Rooms are clean and hygine.

Lady Receptionist: She should speak softly and without racism to all immigrants. I recommend that the hotel administration schedule some behavioural counselling sessions for the lady.
