We stayed at the hotel after 5 nights in Rome as a stopping point before our flight back the following day back to Portland, Oregon. The room was nice, the shower was large which was a nice after a staying at hotel with a smaller shower. The room was clean, the coffee maker and little amenties were nice to have after a long day of travel. The breakfast-no comparison. Full buffet, a cook making eggs/omlettes to order. A person could not ask for more. At check in the a booking is made for your preferred time for the shuttle back to the airport, which was prompt-we were not so much :)

I wish I had a bit more information on where to catch the shuttle to the hotel and the timing of the pick up. Other than that-a great airport hotel!

Room was comfortable and AC worked well. Lotion in the bathroom was good. Free shuttle to and from airport was a good deal.

I waited 1 hour for the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and it never came. It was supposed to run every 30 mins. I had to take an Uber that cost 20 euro and when I brought it to the front desk attention, she was a bit rude and said there were road works that delayed the bus. She was very dismissive and not apologetic and i didn't believe her because the Uber took the same route and we got there in 5 mins. Even if the bus was delayed it couldn't be by an hour. This was very poor service and the attitude of the front desk was also poor. The next day the bus was on time to take me to the airport

Receptionist morning shift, how come Gave room type isn't right as booked, not good room,even bed already select double,asked is I stayed alone (isn't special request) confirmed me as room I booked room is at last one far a way and twin-bed was lie if I can called.. so I'm stayed but I came back from outside(didn't use room yet just kept my bag, got some noisy from outside room and not stoped , so changed to better room after I asked and complain noisy 5hrs later..Thank you receptionist evening shift..Just don't understand seem they know room not good and ready to sell but sell.

Friendly staff (at least the hotel staff proper - the bar/restaurant staff a little less at times).

Some of the bar/restaurant staff (white senior staff) can be less polite when Schiphol/KLM makes that a lot of people unexpectedly need to stay at the hotel. I overheard one of the male white staff refer to an Asian latecomer with a racist term, which, as a Caucasian but really a human being, I find utterly unacceptable. I would recommend diversity training for the whole bar/restaurant team.

Our stay was unplanned due to flight delays so we chose this hotel as it was minutes away from the airport and the hotel supplied a free shuttle service. After an extremely stressful and long day, we arrived at the hotel to be greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. All the staff we encountered were all professional and friendly. A smile goes a long way so thank you! Our room was average sized, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The cooling system was very effective and you were able to control the temperature. Great hotel close to the airport The Greenhouse Restaurant was a joy to sit and eat in. Plants hanging everywhere in a glass structure. Breakfast also was exceptional offering fresh fruits, cereals, pastries and hot foods.

Not being able to turn the fan off in the bathroom meant the room was a little noisy but a lovely staff member offered ear plugs. Not a deal breaker though.

some people at the reception were not helpful. I requested transfer to the airport the night before my trip and they said the bus was fully booked. I call the morning again to check if there were free places and they said No… I did anyways go in person to reception to be surprised they were giving places to people that just show up!…that’s unacceptable!!! Also, the main toilets for everyone near reception were smelly (but in the room was very clean).

The hotel is close to the airport, but you need a transport for the transfer. Fortunately the hotel provides 24/7 free shuttle service. The staff is friendly and always helpful. The price is lower than downtown Amsterdam. There is a bus stop (De Hoek) nearby that connects the hotel with central Amsterdam via bus 397

I found the hotel a little bit worn out (carpets, chairs in conference rooms, bathroom).Breakfast could be improved - for example they don't serve fried eggs, nor Nutella chocolate. The hotel is right under the departure path of the airplanes and sometimes it can be noisy. During the night it's quiet though.

Comfortable for a quick stop over. Bed was very comfortable. Great Shuttle service!

Just the tea and coffee in rooms were terrible. Rooibos tea had milk in the sachet and tasted bad. Especially if you are not a milk drinker. Nice to have a coffee machine but the quality of coffee is a not a good brand. The espressos pod tasted terrible and I am an Espresso drinker. The Lungo pod was a bit better but not a good brand. They definitely need a better brand of coffee and tea, especially if your stay is 120Euro per night. Nothing worse than having a bad tea before bed and a bad coffee when you awake. Thank goodness I could get a take away good coffee in the Green room before jumping the shuttle

I arrived with my wife and 8yr old son at the hotel about 6 hours early for check-in, and extremely tired after a long-haul flight...expecting to have to beg to get our room and maybe be turned away. The receptionist, Floor, was like a dream...calm and pleasant and completely professional, she found us a room, checked us in, took payment (debit card was fine), booked us onto a free shuttle back to the airport the next day..all in about 5 mins. Along with a complimentary coffee.. The shower was amazing, the room was spotlessly clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything was great. Spring water and nespressos in the room. We woke up and went downstairs to have some food. Lunch menu was great and prepared quickly...and the omelet, burger and Caesar salad were great. About 3 mins walk (past a mcdonalds) gets you to a bus stop for the 397 up on an overpass, which takes you to the city in about 25mins, but we could also have taken the free shuttle to Schipol and train to Centraal from there. Dinner was less amazing and the restaurant staff were nice but made a few blunders. The manager was great and comp'd me my drinks for some minor errors so it was basically redeemed. The smoked salmon starter was ok (great salmon but stale popadum and not enough samphire), the bavette steak was very small but not bad..closer to medium rare than medium. Overall the high quality of service, comfort and the calmness that we were dealt with far negated one or two errors in the restaurant, and the flavors were still good, so i am still giving these guys a top score. We are definitely coming back here again, and I'd be willing to bet that we will have an equally good stay, Thanks NH team, see you again soon ;)

The service could have been more efficient and professional (waiters first day.? And maitre'd took my order wrong, and no steak knives available for the steak) and portion size of the mains could be better. But hardly anything worth mentioning as overall things were fantastic.

The staff, from before arrival, upon (late) check-in, during the shuttle rides, whenever I had a query, at the restaurant for the (absolutely fantastic) breakfast, were kind, polite, approachable and it seemed like they genuinely cared about my comfort. They asked how I slept, what I am doing for the day, the ladies helped me with a different request - all with understanding. Even the welcome notice when using the WiFi was super professional and from a real person, not just a standard bot greeting. Super clean. Spacious. Old design, so classy. Wonderful stay. Even has a pool (unfortunately I didn't get to use it because I didn't stay long, but if I had, I would definitely have). I overheard how they conversed with other guests and used the same cordial, kind manners - the breakfast tables were continuously cleaned and prepared, with precision and enthusiasm. It was a wonderful end and I actually can't wait to visit the Netherlands again - I will most definitely book with them. This hotel, personifies the term hotel management of high quality standards. In comparison with other hotels with the same ratings, I am surprised it is not a five-star. These are professionals who work with guests, not after your money but genuinely caring and kind.

The only thing that bothered me a tiny bit, was the room and linen smelled a bit like smoke. But, I am sure that if I had asked, the hotel would have changed the linen and towels and the smell disappeared by the second day - it is possible that it was from the road or something or a smoker who left the room (which is why I didn't feel the need to complain). I want to emphasize that even this, which could have been a tiny pain point, is something the hotel turned around almost immediately. A simple reason for this, is an effective air-conditioning system, which is in stark contrast with the rest of my trip. I didn't have to ask, it was already working and that is great. This is a truly fantastic hotel.
