Before B&B Willem II, my Roermond trip was for shopping; after B&B Willem II, I'd want to go back soley for the B&B Willem II experience. After a short 3-min walk from the Roermond train station, you open the door to one of the beautiful Roermond original houses. There you will be greeted by friendly staff who will give detailed instructions about the stay. You walk up the stairs, the room is spacious, clean, cozy, and beautiful. You don't really hear noise from trains when the windows are shut, despite the short distance from the station. Breakfast room is on the ground floor with a door to a beautiful garden. It also has a 24-hour minibar with free coffees and teas, and some snacks and drinks at a small charge where you can hang out whenever you want to. Across the street are main streets with shops, cafés, and restaurants; through the main streets at the end is located the Roermond outlet, which in total is about a 15-minute walk from B&B Willem II. You can check your bags before check-in or after check-out. Breakfast is mind blowing - its variety, freshness, taste, and settings. From people to rooms and breakfast and amenities, everything about this place is amazing.

They provide shampoo, but I wish I knew there was no body wash. There is no elevator; but I had no problem with taking my luggage up and down the wide and moderate stairs.

+ wonderfully decorated and equipped room + most beautiful and relaxed breakfast lounge you can imagine + right in the heart of the city, close to the station and central parking facilities + friendly staff + we had a room for three (people) booked - and had a large double-bed and a proper single bed - everyone had a very comfortable sleep :-)

- the bathroom is directly attached to the room - good! -but the sound isolation could be better. It is just an old sliding door that more or less hides the view.

room was spacious; very unusual in Europe; breakfast was simple as others in Europe, but we enjoyed scramble and two sunny-side ups; LOCATION is excellent, close to train station, even in walking distance to downtown and outlet; indeed pleasant stay; Oh, parking. it's we were lucky to find a space just in front of the hotel; DON'T forget taking a short adventure in the secret garden backyard.

at least some hundreds meters should walk to find places to eat or drink but again this would not be a problem unless raining heavily

the location is walking distance to the city centre. the room (especially bathroom) was clean and quiet (despite facing a busy road) when the window closed (quiet at night anyway) the lounge area has welcoming atmosphere, and guests can make hot drinks (& water) anytime. through the door at the lounge you can walk in the back garden, where sets of chairs and sofas. the breakfast has a wide range of food including fresh fruits and bread.

1- i love the friendliness of the staff and the authenticity of the place. 2- it was very cozy and home like. 3- The location is great, just three minutes walking from the train station. it is also 15 minutes walking from the designer outlet. 4- Also, the breakfast is really tasty, they also offer free coffee and tea all day. 5- They also allowed us to leave the bags before our check in and after our check out. 6- they gave us a map and showed us the area and even recommended area for restaurant.

Only that there was a spider web on the ceiling - the only drawback

Extremely beautiful home with a calm welcoming feeling. The owner is kind and friendly and put so much effort into making your stay special and personal. The rooms are decorated beautifully and the garden is a sanctuary. you feel right at home and welcome to enjoy the space alone or with friends. Free coffee/tea/hot drinks throughout the day. My room had big windows which I could open. The breakfast were presented in a unique creative way. Service was wonderful. The stay felt like living in a fairytale for a day. The price was actually lower than other places in the area with a way lower rating.

There is nothing not to like

The room was beautiful, comfortable, and super clean! There is also coffee machine which you can use all day free of charge such as flat white, cappuccino, macchiato or brew some tea! The breakfast was fresh and homemade. The staff also very friendly and attentive. Walking distance to the Roermond outlet as well as city centre. Wifi is fast and AC works properly. Check in was smooth even though I arrived at 7 pm

If you are traveling with big heavy luggages (like me) you might want to get the room downstairs as there is no elevator

beautiful house & garden, very comfortable & clean, lovely breakfast and owners. 5 min. easy walk from secure garage parking for only €5 p/d with a voucher from the B & B. Nice restaurants/cafes 2 min. walk across the road, and a further 5-10 min. for shopping, churches, leisure & canal side.

More light in the room, same and a hand grip (into shoer) in the bathroom.

Perfect location, great amenities and decor and human touch. Personal greeting letter in the room, useful information about the town, sweets, everything was so warm and cute. Breakfast is fabulous, small jars with yoghurt and jam, fresh crispy croissants, individually prepared hot egg dishes, cheese variety, good coffee. Maud and her team really love their BnB and do their best to provide the guests not only with comfortable stay, but feelings of being welcomed and nice memories.

Beautifu bed and breakfast. Rooms are very spacious, gorgeously decorated and have AC. I even had a beautiful room with garden view. The breakfast room is great with options to eat outside in the garden terrace on nice days. Lots of choice as well.

The property is very close to the train station, so you can hear the trains at times, but it’s really not a big problem unless you are a super light sleeper. The location is worth it.
