Comfortable bed and spacious room. The staff was very friendly and professional. Great place for kids too with areas inside and outside for them to play. The hotel was outside of the central part of the city where certain major attractions would be but, it was very close to public transportation with only a 10 minute walk.

Only offers shampoo and body soap. No hand soap. The toilet is in a weird spot of the bathroom, at least in our room it was. Not sure if all rooms are like that but, tall people may have difficulty getting up and down from the toilet.

The availability of the room service in the evening was poor ..it was not instructed on the website that we can't get room service at night and we needed extra things for the kids and that was not POS .then it was told to us that we.needed to put it in the remarks on the Web site wich we didn't see anywhere when we were booking

The hotel has an easy parking, a toy room for the kids and a nice bar. The room is standard. There was an issue with the first room we got and they upgraded our stay for free offering a free drink at the lobby while waiting. They were kind and did the effort to accommodate us despite some difficulties.

The hotel seemed understaffed. The reception was often empty and when we had an issue with the first room (given unclean, completely undone from the previous people), the receptionist called the barman to help her. They took away our towels without being dropped on the floor and didn’t provide with new ones so I had to go back to ask for new ones, which I also find not very eco friendly.

Great stay: we were there to visit the Windmills of Schiedam and from this location, it was very easy to join by Subway both Schiedam but also Rotterdam centrum ! Big parking. Super complete buffet breakfast (cold food (several kinds of bread, possibility to roast them, ham, cheese, butter, ...), yoghourt, fruit juice, fruits, warm food (2 kinds of eggs, bacon, saussages), etc.). Nothing surprising for a Novotel actually. Room was correct. Given the price we paid, I didn't expect a bigger room so we can't complain. Room furtniture was complete.

We've rented a room with 3 beds : I was surprised to see that the room looked like a room for 2 people (with a 2 people bed) in which a kind of small "sofa" is available when 2 people rent the room. In our case, they seem to have switched the "sofa" into a 1-person bed. According to my friend who slept on it, it was comfortable but I would expect a real bed instead. Anyway, given the price we've paid (more or less same price for 3 people than 2) it was fair and OK for us :-).

The breakfast is a great buffet: nothing else to add! The staff is great and helpful... There is a pool!

It was not that clean in the corridors and stairs but there were events during our stay... could be the reason. Moreover, due to additional events, it looks like the staff is " overloaded" and we had to ask 3 times until the safe locker could be opened (it was closed by the previous guests). Parking could be free!

The property was fine for what we needed. We didn’t get connecting rooms as requested but they soon found us some and moved us rooms. The staff were lovely. My son loved the game station area and enjoyed playing on the xBox.

The evening restaurant menu was very limited. We needed to ask about children’s menu and specials.

Swimming pool, play area, little shop, kids room near reception, clean comfortable room, parking.

Just one staff member checking in guests when it was busy, and our door key cards didn’t work twice which meant a queue/wait again to get it sorted. Eventually had to move rooms, which was fine overall.

Mind extra charges at the spot such as service fee, city tax fee, parking fee etc. It was unexpected. Usually extra charges information should be in front page before making reservation otherwise it would be difficult to say no and leave the place:-)

It was a very nice hotel, our room was great, there were alot of people that were checking in that day, so cannot blame the staff but it took us 45 mins from the time we got into the hotel to actually be able to get into the room. Overall the location and facilities at the hotel were very nice!

One of the thing that I really enjoyed was the gym. The personnel was very nice. The places for kids (small room inside and the park outside) were also nice.

It was bit confusing for me to get to the hotel with the car, it could be a gps problem, but I have to pass a couple of times in front of the hotel to realize the mistake in the navigation.
