The hotel looks amazing, an amazing location and the staff were great. Great car park. Highly recommend the restaurant.

35 euros for a pet is a joke. My cat only sleeps. I understand that a pet might damage the room and I'd totally accept a hold of 50 euros in case of damage of 15 euros like all the other hotels I've been to but 35 euros for nothing... I won't go back for this price. One of the saunas wasn't working. The spa area looks a bit abandoned and one shower was dripping water the whole time. This is unacceptable in 2023. People don't have water and that water was running the whole time. A recyclable bin is a must, again, in 2023 we should be recycling everything in the rooms. Breakfast can be better for what we are paying.

The location / Property is stunning. Very nice moated chateau style castle, which has been tastefully turned into a hotel. The rooms are huge. We had a Deluxe twin and Premium Double, both were great, but I'd go for the Premium. I've had smaller suites! The property is beautiful and well worth exploring the grounds (bug repellent encouraged), even the drive up is wow through a gate house. Our rooms faced onto the lake and the tree in the centre had at least 7 herons nesting in it, which was a fascinating watch waking up over pod coffee in the morning. We got there about 9pm and the restaurant was close to last orders, but the exceeding helpful reception lady got us a table and we were allowed a single course fine dining meal in the vaulted cellar. Not cheap, but worth it!

Being that close to nature, involves nature making noise in the morning! It was a stop over on our return journey and we would have loved to spend more time there!

I checked in late due to circumstances. It was quick and efficient. The property is a converted chateau that is tucked away in a nice environment. The hotel informed me they would still hold my reservation in the restaurant. The 3-course prix-fixé dinner was elegant, deliciously prepared and paired with a good selection of accompanying wines. The breakfast buffet had everything one would expect and was excellent. I did not have time to make use of the steam room, but I'm sure that would have been fine too. The bathroom was well-equipped, even with heated floors.

It's not really a 'dislike' per se, but the room could be improved a bit with use of smart 'Domotica' technology. The door opened with an old-fashioned key and there was no safe in the room to protect valuables. Like I said, these are not really complaints, just a suggestion to improve the experience.

This is a castle. I wasn't really sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised with the size and decor of our room! It had a sitting area where the small oval windows possibly once had cannons aimed out of them. The air conditioner sat inside the room and was easily adjustable. The moat view from our windows was definitely unusual. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had both a very nice tub and a shower. The breakfast was outstanding! The only thing missing was a chef, but you really didn't need that with all the wonderful options! We would highly recommend this hotel.

The air conditioner that needed to run to be comfortable was a bit noisy..... but it's a castle already!

We were traveling with a dog and the hotel arranged water and food bowl and a blanket for the dog. There is directly a park where you can walk around. Th food in de restaurant was very delicious but a bit in the expensive side. We had a big rain shower and a really good soft bed.

The lady at the reception told us the terrace will Close at 6pm but at 11pm we saw there were still people getting served out there. With the beautiful weather i would have liked to sit outside in the evening as well.. The dog is not allowed in the restaurant but they offered us to sit in the Lounge ( the hallway directly next to the entrance of the hotel) so we had to leave our dog in the room because the lounge looked very unpleasant to sit in. The carpet in the room was very dirty and definitely needs a renovation. Although the dog wasn't allowed to lay on the carpet the carpet looked like there happened a lot of other thing that were more disgusting that a dog..

Serene, peaceful location in nature with many trees and water lilies; the stone castle was beautiful inside and out Breakfast was full of variety, it was a perfect beginning to the day. The staff were very friendly and always helpful.

We wanted time to stay longer, one night was definitely not enough! We did not have time to try out the pool or other Castle amenities.

The look of this hotel is nice. Water around the Hotel and a lot of birds. A nice place to relax after a business day. The size of the rooms is good. The staff is friendly. The bathroom is fine as well. Good wine menu.

Prices at the restaurant (dinner) needs some money and the meal was so and so for the value. The rooms could have better lights, even switching on all lights it is kind of dark. Breakfast was not convincing for the price.

Good food, breakfast exceptional and dinner very good but a little pricy

Noisy air con unit in the room with pipe exciting through open window. Not ideal. Grassy area with sunbeds near indoor poor was handy but needed to be looked after better, ie weeding and grass cutting

Our stay was very comfortable. Spacious room and clean. Cosy accomodation. The staff was friendly and efficient. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious and table service was excellent. Loved the surroundings at the chateau. Strolling around the lake was a delight with ducks, swans and different birds which was pleasing to the eye.

I loved everything about the château. It was relaxing and peaceful. We went on day trips to surrounding towns otherwise there isn’t much around it

Dinner options was limited. If you are into nightlife this is not the place for you.
