Lovely place! We had a long weekend over, staying in a family room. Our big dog was warmly welcomed (at an acceptable surcharge), in the hotel itself, as well as on the terrace, garden and even part of restaurant. Not something you see often in the Netherlands! The room had a great view on the ponds and trees, it was spotless was clean and well maintained. The airco is great - silent and efficient. We were also surprised to read all negative reviews about the food and staff. People were extremely nice, the food was really good and served fast and always with the smile.

The only minor thing is that bathroom doesn't have enough storage for all your toiletries if you come with 3 people, and the ventilation in the bathroom did not work.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Spacious, clean hotel with lots of things to do. There are four fish ponds in the garden where you can go fishing or just relax and enjoy the view. Food is delicious, I mean really amazing and the restaurant is nice and cozy. Usually Dutch hotels are basic, however this one is a superb hotel. The staff was really awesome, especially the front girl Marilyn. She was helpful with everything we needed. She helped with our food order, the heating in the room and many other things. Really amazing girl. I’m very satisfied overall with everything, I would come again.

Vending machine didn’t work. And our room had a bad view, however other rooms have great views.

You couldn’t put your bar drinks on your room, you had to keep a small paper with your order on and hand to the staff at the end. Bizarre. The agreed set meal was not reduced when only 2 courses were had instead of 3, which we were told would be. Didn’t notice until after we checked out and left, a shame as slightly spoilt it for many in our group.

High quality venue within a lovely setting. Good restaurant - with friendly attentive service. Close to motorway, so an ideal stopover.

We paid extra for a balcony room - unfortunately, our balcony neighbours enjoyed a good smoke - about 1 metre away! ... After retiring to our room to escape said smog - we sat down to a chilled glass of wine, with window open for ventilation and to try to capture the relaxed rural setting ... But next door chimneys toxic habit continued to contaminate our non-smoking haven ... We closed the window tight and retired ... Waste of money, in this instance for a posh balcony room, we were effectively denied! ... Probably and ultimately not the smokers fault, but an organisational and management failure to recognise the proximity of smokers in relation to those who do not - poor!

Smartly decorated modern bedroom. Good food and drinks menu. Very attractive gardens and fountain which added to eating on the terrace in the sunshine

Strange approach to get your room - down one floor, one long walk (I thought we’d ended up in Belgium!), up a floor again by lift. Masters degree required to operate lifts

The room was very clean and had tea and coffee machine, and also a fridge which is helpful for keeping water in for during the night. Breakfast was buffet style which is ideal you can eat what you want without waste.

Im sorry to say the location, scenery and accomodation you couldnt fault.

Booked at short notice en-route from Norway to the Uk. What a gem of a hotel. So easy to find off the motorway yet so quiet. Beautiful aspect with gardens we would love to sit in on a summer's evening. The restaurant staff were so friendly and attentive along with great food. Found by fluke but we will definitely return.

very nice setting, nice fittings - all very modern and functional - really lovely private gardens and ponds outside the hotel where people can fish. felt nice and relaxing. enjoyed the private terrace with chairs and an ashtray (not that common anymore) friendly staff and nice dinner in at the hotel restaurant.

the only thing I thought could have done with some improvement was the lighting in the room (some areas were very dark, including the in-room coffee machine area) apart from that, nothing to say, very nice hotel/place in general.

Last minute booking en route. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Room clean, comfortable and quiet, sufficient for our stay. Restaurant food was delicious, breakfast plentiful and the grounds were beautiful.
