Me, my wife and daughter had a lovely 4 nights stay. The room was well distributed and we never felt cramped. The beds were very comfortable, with soft mattresses which we really enjoyed. Location is brilliant - one minute walk to the train station and 10 minutes to any part of Venlo old town. The breakfast was tasty and adequate. Last but not least I need to mention the kind staff. We felt really welcome from start to finish, all our questions were answered with a smile, excellent attitude towards guests. The hotel is not new and shiny but offers great value for money and it surpassed our expectations. I'd gladly repeat my stay if I find myself in the area.

Very good value for money. I got a single room and although not to big it was more than enough for my needs. There was space for storage and the location is great.

The toilet gives an impression of not being take care of. It could be the old "decor" but it looked a bit weird. I did not notice any wifi available. I did not need as I could use my phone but if wifi is vital for you please check before booking. The room could have a small fridge.

For a cheap hotel this place is very good. The rooms are small as are the beds and shower, but copious hot water, nice white cotton sheets and towels. Well heated. The breakfast was excellent We were able to wander around the corner to find a good bistro as it is in the centre of town

Parking in Venlo is limited and you have to pay no matter where you go - tip when parking at night as you increase the coins the counter will add "next morning hours" allowing you sleep later.

Close to the train station & practically down town. Great breakfast buffet and friendly staff. A few meters down the road is a bookstore with tourist information. Everything is very close to the hotel and the signs around town all list the hotel so you cannot get lost. My stay in Venlo was amazing. Highly recommend to solo female travelers.

The location is very close to the shops and restaurants. Just a few meters away from the city center. The place was so comfortable and quiet. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was also included. The staff were friendly.

Maybe they can provide a bigger Ventilator or install an Airconditioner especially in Summer.

I have known this hotel for a while and always like to return. It is getting a bit older but for me that is absolutely no problem. I like the older design and atmosphere. The location is perfect, close to the railway station but away from the downtown streets with loud nigh life, the staff is very friendly, breakfast is simple and perfect for someone like me, and the price is right. Oh and the coffee is also very good!

Work is being done on the roof and past leakages appear to cause a slight smell in the bathrooms, off and on at least. A single room is quite small but for a short stay it's just fine.

Rooms were spotlessly clean. Breakfast buffet included in the room's price was generous and offered varied options - all of which were fresh and/or tasty. Staff were very helpful and friendly too. It's not a fancy hotel, but if all you need is a bed and breakfast it is a bargain!

I needed to do work stuff some evenings but could not get my laptop to connect to the wifi. Allthough this was a problem a helpful member of staff couldn't fix I could still get some work done thankfully because my mobile phone could connect with the wifi without issue. Also room's interior was a bit dated, a little tired, and rather warn around the edges.

Staff is nice and helpful. Close to the train station. Even though the room is not big, it’s comfy enough for a short stay.

Pity that people on the street made noise all night long on Saturday night, or maybe it doesn’t happen every Saturday.

Just steps from Venlo central station, simple to find. The staff was very nice. Room was clean and just what I needed for a place to crash.

The bed was small for me (I’m a bigger guy) but I managed to get a decent rest.

Don't expect a 5-star hotel, because it isn't. What it is, is an old-fashioned, charming little place. The rooms haven't been updated in a good while, but they're clean and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast area is very pretty, breakfast itself is fine. Staff is very friendly!
