The location was excellent. Very close to the shops and restaurants. There was outdoor seating at the hotel to have a drink or a coffee which was nice in the evenings before going for dinner. We stayed in a suite, which was spacious with all the modern facilities. It was hot while we were in Zupthen, so it was good to have AC. Good variety available for breakfast. There was paid car parking in front of the hotel, which was great as we had a rental car. Easy enough to get a space. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to leave our luggage as we arrived earlier than the check-in time. The check-in process was easy and straightforward.

There was nothing to complain about.

The room was very clean, large (we stayed in a suite), and with excellent views over the square. Air-con worked well and kept us cool (much needed), and the inclusion of a separate fan was also appreciated. Staff were great, breakfast was tasty, and the bar/restaurant worked well.

Breakfast was a little hectic at times, and they seem to lack enough plates/bowls. Some of the food choices were also quite slow to get refilled. Both minor nitpicks and breakfast is optional. The shower in the bathroom didn't seem to have a working fan. Not a big issue, worth noting.

The central yet quiet location of the hotel. The spaciousness and quietness of the room, as well as its equipment. There also was a bath tub. However, bath tubs are only available in double rooms. The single rooms are too small, more noisy and less well-equipped, so make sure to book a double room, even with single occupation. It is well worth the additional cost.

There was no (small) fridge in the room. In a 4-star hotel one would expect at least a small fridge. The hairdryer could be a bit more sophisticated too. Breakfast was just OK, nothing out of the ordinary.

In general it is a nice hotel, smartly organized. Staff is friendly and beds are comfy. Paid parking is in front of the door. Its a clean facility. Very nice terrace.

tiny bathroom, no space to hang cloths and maybe one big mirror would be nice to have. On the day of arriving there was an event infront of hotel, and we could not park in front of hotel. Nobody of staff mentioned to us about event and not available parking. Its a pity, as we could of planned parking elsewhere upfront.

Excellent location in centre Zutphen! Nice classical building and entrance. We stayed in the renovated part of the building, which means we had a good room with all modern amenities. Nice breakfast. Super staff, also with assistance with parking. All in all our stay was very enjoyable!

We had dinner in the hotel. The ambiance and service were great, but the quality of the food was slightly disappointing, especially the vegetarian option.

I think the breakfast could have been a bit better for the price. I found it a bit strange to have butter packets and not fresh butter when the price of breakfast is 16,50€. Fresh cooked eggs and fresh made cappucino would have also been a preference of mine. Otherwise very nice stay in Zutphen.

We stayed in one of the suite rooms in the roof space. A wonderful room full of original features and furniture. Also in a great location in a very interesting little town.

Quiet hotel on a really good location. Beautiful renovated rooms. Historical building.

The breakfast could be really improved, the quality of the food is not great, especially for the scrambled eggs. Same with the shower products, it’s too less.

The building itself is really nice, the interior carries a bit of medieval vibe. Our hotel room is clean, neat with all the necessities. It has been a perfect getaway space for our short trip.
