The studio unit had modern shower and vanity. The room was very quiet and we didn't hear anyone else. Ample parking available. Very lovely host who had rescheduled our booking due to us being trapped north with the cyclone. Very comfortable bed and a good size too. We opt for a studio as most our time is out and about so we have a room mainly to come back to shower and sleep.

If I am to say what we didn't like we would seem incredibly picky because we really liked our stay. If I didn't need my water chilled I would have switched the fridge off as it was next to my side of the bed so it could have been resolved but I wanted my drink cold. Studio by nature is a very small room which we are fine with but traveller's just need to remember this.

I needed a cheap place, handy to the city and airport, and this place fit the bill. The hotel is dated but the room was very clean, secure and well maintained for its age. The room was fairly large with direct access to the pool area (useful if the weather was better), the bed was comfy and the shower pressure good. At this price point, this is a great place to crash for a few nights.

The room is ageing, but that's reflected in the rate. Obviously the whole place could use a refresh but that would raise the price - just remember that you get what you pay for and you'll have no issues.

Only downside was possibly a winz emergency housing guest was a bit put out by me being outside at the same time as her n was quite rude n demanding to know which room I was staying in and how long I was to be there am still not really sure what her problem with us was but not really something the motel staff can stop so it's not really a complaint just some feedback

It was pretty quiet with just a little sound through the wall from neighboring rooms. Everything you needed in a small space. Really handy to buses, shops etc.

I had some issues with the internet. Once connected to the alternative address provided, it went well but the Zappie Hotspot was useless.

Location was close to where I was going and to shops. Bed was comfortable Room was small but clean and tidy with an ironing board which was good. Towels for the pool were there in the cupboard Pool looked good.

Provide Hot Chocolate sachets? Not necessary but would have been nice!

Great location for Royal Oak. Chilled out staff who are helpful! Room got tidied every day thank you.

I didnt have breakfast because I had an early meeting. I got in late amd it was cold. When I opened the door to a warm room, i was very relievef. The bed was also cosy. Great stay and clean room.

I wasnt sure how to find the right park and room. I relied on the insructions but went around the rooms twice.

Heaps of space in the room so my kid did feel claustrophobic at all, kitchen and bathroom had heaps of space also. The pool was amazing but due to weather and our short stay we didn't get much of a chance to use it.

It was a good clean room, that was comfortable for the night. (I would stay there again). The staff I came into contact with were most helpful .

From memory the pillows were higher than I usually like , also the curtain across the doorway (but necessary for privacy).

Travelled for a concert and was able to catch the Bus into town for this. The staff were extremely helpful with all bus related information.
